Il n'y a pas de cuisine au deuxième niveau. Si vous aspirez à respirer de l'air et être sur le magnifique lac Lure, venez traîner Autour du lac. Ce chalet familial au bord du lac offre des vues spectaculaires sur les montagnes majestueuses et le lac séduisant qui rajeunira votre âme. Détendez-vous sur l'un des deux ponts arrière dans ce cadre très serein qui surplombe une crique et des montagnes à travers le lac.

House had everything we needed plus plenty of room to relax. Loved the porch every morning drinking my coffee and every evening as the sun was going down!

Perfect accommodations for our large (10 person) group. Location couldn't have been better! Maybe a mini fridge downstairs would be convenient for bottled water and making coffee without having to go upstairs. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved staying there. The kitchen was large enough for all the cooks at one time. Pans could use a little updating, but there was plenty of pots to cook with. We spent a lot of time at the dock. Kids loved swimming; actually, they learned a little about how to swim. The kayaks were great. We took turns since there was so many of us. We rented a pontoon and took a tour of the lake. So many beautiful houses. We found the rope swing and the guys thoroughly enjoyed that. The house had everything that you could possibly need. We thank you so much for allowing us to stay in this incredible property.

Very clean. Well maintained, but not updated. It’s on the lake. Has Kayaks and a dock. No inside access to down stairs. Internet is on the slow side. We had a lot of fun. Just be prepared to slow down a little.

It was great. The only problem we had were no and side stairs and the last night there was a bear walking around in the middle of the night and had that been earlier in the evening when the boys were going downstairs to go to bed, it would have been a problem. Luckily, it wasn’t but the house needs inside stairs.

The views from this home are gorgeous. There is plenty of sleeping area for large families, the only downfall is 2 bedrooms are on the main level and the other four are on the lower level. As other reviews have mentioned, there is limited parking. Overall this was a great location for our extended family vacation.

This house is right on lake with dock. Loved kayas and swimming. 6 bedrooms for large families. Even saw a bear swim across lake!

Sleeps the whole family
This was a beautiful location. There were plenty of beds and plenty of rooms for everyone. I read about an old oven in another post, but they must have updated the oven since then. The oven was gas and looked brand new. My only suggestion is to add a broom. If there was one there, we couldn't find it. Other than that our stay was fabulous and we would love to return next year.

Lake Lure rental house

I'll start with the shortfalls of the property
then move onto the good points.
First, I'd like to say it's an older house. Cracks in the driveway. Some rooms could use a new paint. The Stove is circa 1970 Era.
We did finally figure out how to turn it on.
Thank goodness for YouTube.
One main drawback is there is no inside stairway between the top and bottom floors. You have to go outside between floors to get to your destination.
In most cases this isn't wasn't a hassle but our last day was pouring rain and you had to put on a rain coat to go between floors.
Good Points; Location, Location, Location !!
Right on a point of the island looking at the mountains and the Lake. Very Beautiful.
Another plus the owners screened in the upstairs outside deck. It's a great location to take in the beautiful lake. There is a nice dock for tieing up a boat or launching a kayak if you have one.
All in all I would give the vacation 5 stars if you can overlook that you are in an older house.

The property was very clean.
This property needs updating: kitchen appliances and bathrooms. More kitchen utensiles are needed.

Needs improvement.
The grounds and external appearance very slipshod and run down looking. Many items that were supposed to be provided were not there. No instructions for using the outdated gas oven.
Parking inadequate and very difficult. Would never stay there again.

The lake was wonderful, plenty of room in the house. Enjoyed our stay.

Family Relaxtion
We had the most amazing time, this is a great place for large families. Plenty of space, once you arrive no need to go anywhere. Make sure you shop ahead of time for groceries, after that they have everything you need and the lake was perfect to just hop in. Or even fish from the deck. Definitely planning a return trip.

Update
Concrete on driveway was coming up and very slippery and rocky. The house was not cleaned and there were no blankets. Very beautiful location but a lot of repairs on the house or needed.

This was a good location for family around NC to gather. The two separate levels were nice for gathering in one and sleeping in the other.

Wonderful property!
My family and I drove from different locations on the east coast to meet at Lake Lure for our first gathering since the pandemic began. We were very excited to find this listing because it could comfortably accommodate our large group and they allowed multiple dogs. We had an amazing time! The view was gorgeous and we had nearly everything we needed at the lake house. We are already planning out next trip to this area and we will stay at this property again!

Beautiful property. Very cozy.
Would definately return. It was very clean and a great place to relax. No Wi fi so come to be prepared to be disconnected which is not always a bad thing.

Around the Lake
The house was well equipped and very comfortable. The view from the screen porch was simply beautiful. The children had a great time fishing and swimming in the lake. Only downside was that the downstairs air conditioning went kaput toward the end of the week. Our guests chose to leave a day early due to the heat. The property manager is issuing me a refund for that one day. Would definitely stay there again.

We were unimpressed with almost everything except the view of the lake
There was a smell of mold. No internet password although we knew there was wifi and two routers in the house. A lot of the kitchen utensils werue dirty. Doors were unlocked downstairs when we arrived. Parking was almost impossible. The screens on the porch were torn. No channels except kids on direct tv

Great time at the lake!
7 of us had more than enough room in this very clean lake house over Memorial Day weekend. Owner very responsive to questions.
Pros: Very clean, lake access very easy, beds very comfortable (bring an extra pillow or 2), 3 levels of porches were great for evening games/cocktails with great mountain/lake views(even in rain), large kitchen table made for great meals,plenty of dishes/utensils/cookware. Lake Lure is a beautiful lake with amazing views.
Cons (Appeared to us that incremental upgrades are being done to this new rental property)
Just want to mention a few things to help future renters: poor/no internet access, tv channels very limited, oven/stove is a "vintage" model, dock ladder needs an extra 2 steps given water level, could not find grill tools, parking limited to 3 spots, minimal lake toys available.
Overall, this is a lovely property that I feel the owners will continue to make better and better. Thanks again for a great stay!
