Closeness to beach, housekeeping, friendly staff (multiple people were always willing to help and answer an questions), size of resort, excellent a la carte restaurants, ability to handle large groups for dinner, plenty of space for seating at beach and a decent amount at the pool, activities available, vibe of resort (both tranquility when needed and also liveliness).

Certain restaurants were not always available everyday. AC could not be lowered below 72 degrees. Bedroom would not cool as much as living area.

The food was tasty

There were a lot of flies landing on the pastries at the buffet. Covers would help. There was no nightly chocolate buffet as advertised . There were not many dining options

Unfortunately, we did not get to go and stay at the resort. Our passports didn’t come in time…even though we should have gotten them before the trip. When I reached out to the property to see if we could change the dates they said No. so we did not get to celebrate our 5 yr anniversary on this dream trip. As an educator, vacations don’t happen often and when something like this happens it is devastating. We lost all of the money we paid for the hotel as well. Very disappointing that they would not work with us an allow us to move our stay back a few months.

Room had some broken furniture Pool needed cleaning at times The layout of the resort needs changing. You had to walk all the way around the outskirts of the resort to get to our room from reception.

The food and the vibes beautiful beach. Barbie Christina Claudy and Brown were very nice and helpful.

The resort was beautiful on a gorgeous, clean beach. The food options were plentiful and delicious. Most importantly, everyone was super friendly, helpful, and kind. It made for a wonderful family vacation!

Housekeeping needs some help, we waited hours to get extra blankets to make up sofa bed

Excellent breakfast especially the omelette cook.

You need new bedroom mattress that thick and firm and not sagging. You need housekeeping to provide additional bath towels under bathroom vanity and face clothes were at times missing and so were bath mats. Additionally, water leaks from shower so we had to use beach towels on floor to avoid tremendous water leaking from shower door. Also we asked for additional blankets which provided but then maid took them back when cleaning room. Also, I asked for sausage or mushroom pizza at Resturant when order three staff cashier staff said we don’t offer that on menu I said I know but these are typical USA toppings??!! They couldn’t accommodate that request although I said they offer sausage and mushrooms pieces for omelette for breakfast you can use that. I spoke to resturant manager Ruresh who said that he would orient his staff because that my request was reasonable and could have been provided easily. We went to the weekly barbecue at the Blue Haven site there was only one shuttle bus for atleast 100 people attending the barbecue that was ridiculous after a very elaborate beautiful dinner evening people sat at the shuttle bus bus stop waiting an hour for pickup and started to get irritated.

It will be using something more substantial than the word like. We loved the hotel. I made a small request before we arrived at the hotel, and the hotel staff did their best to accommodate my request. The people working for Alexandra Resort are incredible. Smile, kindness, care and warmth are what we felt all the time. Foods at restaurants, ease of booking a place with the desired cuisine. I am drifting back to my memory, where I felt on vacation every second I was at Alexandra Resort. My wife says that she transfers back to Grace Bay beach right in front of the hotel whenever she closes her eyes. We loved it so much that we are definitely coming back. I almost forgot about Icecream after lunch on a hot August day. That was a fantastic vacation for my family, all we did wake up, eat, swim, eat, swim, eat, dance, sleep and the next day all over again.

I couldn't think of anything reasonable that I did not like, so I also asked my family. We don't have one. Maybe, maybe, what to improve, I would have said, I wish the hotel had a shuttle service with the airport, and that would have been so comfortable and lovely to have. A taxi driver who brought us from the airport was driving a little bit too fast for me.

Beach, pool, staff were all excellent. The sushi was excellent.

Some of the food was a bit blah.
