Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location. Next to the old town and also only 10 minute’s walking to the beautiful beach. The owner, Jesus, was very kind and welcoming. And Tarifa is wonderful. Would stay again for sure!

Not a criticism at all but it’s on a busy main road so if you’re a light sleeper like me, bring ear plugs (luckily I carry them always)

Superb hotel with Jesus a wonderful host. Could not have been made more welcome! I will definitely come back. The roof garden had great views and was also useful for drying out surfing gear overnight.

The room was really nice. The bed was super comfortable and my bathroom had a big shower. A TV screen, too, though I did not use it. The hotel is located right in Tarifa old town. Perfect spot to explore the bars, restaurants, cafes, clubs and everything else. The place is owner managed. He is a real chilled and friendly guy. Grab a coffee at the coffee bar inside the hotel in the morning.

nothing. the bed was crackling. cushions were low. There were no plugs by the bed for is to charge the phones. nowhere to put the toiletries, only 2 small cubes, poor breakfast on offer. The heating did not work, they had a small heater that is a fire risk. I did not expect to go to a hotel and use a small heater. very misleading because this hotel should not be classified as ***3 star hotel. i am very disappointed.

This hostel is very comfortable and adorable. The owner, Jesus, is a wonderful host and full of information which he generously shares. You can tell a lot of love goes into maintaining this hostel. The rooms are clean and cozy and the cafe area is a nice place to have a coffee and read a book. It’s centrally located and a great value.

El Asturiano is in a good position and the building is a typical old palace with attention in arabic details. At the reception you can find friendly and professional people, always available for your needs.

Location was superb. Jesus was a wonderful host with an extremely clean establishment.

Everything was fantastic. The only improvement/addition I would make is adding some items to breakfast such as hardboiled eggs with some sliced cheese and ham.
