This was the perfect location for exploring the town on foot. It also provided a clean and comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. The host emailed lots of information on restaurants and things to do beforehand to help plan our stay.

This was our second time staying here and won’t be our last. Quiet location and the host, Jeffery, is always helpful and very thorough. We have recommended Jeffery’s place to many friends who have stayed in Jim Thorpe.

This is a fantastic property with attention to even minute details. The owners have gone out of their way to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. It is very clean, nicely decorated an is also well stocked with everything you need for a getaway. The location is perfect; just up the street from the shops and restaurants or you can also take a quick ride and go to the State Park for all kinds of outdoor activities; there's even swimming at the lake! We've travelled quite a bit and I honestly say that this little place is hands-down our favorite. I'm so glad I found it and we will absolutely be back again-just for a longer stay next time. You're really going to love it here!

Mother/daughter overnight trip in Jim Thorpe. This was an ideal location. The apartment is very roomy and well appointed. Quiet location right across from the old jail with a parking space which is practically unheard of in Jim Thorpe. Highly recommend!

Clean, roomy and quiet.

I absolutely adore Jim Thorpe, my family, my dog and I chose to stay at High Street Guesthouse Apartment G to celebrate my birthday, my 5th VRBO stay at one of Jeffrey’s gems. Most importantly I am disabled and apartment G was set up perfectly for me! It is ACTUALLY ACCESSIBLE. If you are worried about steps, walkways, bathrooms, bedrooms, hand rails and having plenty of room, STAY HERE! My service dog, Eli also had plenty of space to work and made lots of doggie friends! The Grotto is absolutely beautiful, with trails, sitting areas, gardens, a fish pond, water fountains, and a fire pit built up the side of the mountain! The perfect zen garden to spend time in nature, meditate, and mingle with other guests. Apartment G was very clean and pristine. Beds were very comfy, kitchen was well stocked and easy to use, the living room has the coziest couch, we even asked where to get one! Because of my limited mobility and Illness I usually sit on floors. Every piece of furniture was very comfortable and I didn’t have to worry about my comfort. The beautiful art and vintage photography on every wall was captivating, and if you love owls as much as I do - there are plenty to go on a photo hunt! The energy of this place is calming and happy, full of crystal art and a wall! Jeffrey and Chad the InnKeeper are excellent hosts, responded quickly to any questions we had, came right to the door when we realized the toaster was missing. Chad made best friends with my service dog, Eli. They both gave us so many ideas on activities, where to eat because I am CELIAC, places to shop, get coffee, grab a drink, hike, and explore the entire town! This is such a charming apartment in the heart of Jim Thorpe. The house is beautifully done and is very spacious for a group of 4-6. It’s walkable to the shops but still towards the quieter end. Everything that we wanted to do was close by - jailhouse next door, train minutes walk, coal mine 15 mins drive. We walked our dog up the high street. House was immaculately clean that too for a pet friendly accommodation. The pictures of the apt here are great but still don’t do justice to how cute and charming the apt and exterior is in real life. Highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment located within a nice walk to all the shops, train station and restaurants. Very comfortable felt like home . Loved our stay will most definitely stay again!

We came for the marathon and 7 miler and it was just perfect. My parents joined us so the space was excellent. Best part was the bathroom and porch swing. Jeff and Chad were so helpful helping us find a way to wash clothes as our unit didn't have a washer and dryer. Communication best of any host I have stayed with. We loved the hand made soap and all the art work. Perfect suggestions for dining and easy parking. For the race we walked to the train only half mile so it was perfect and allowed for us to save on parking. The old jail across the street was a total history experience. Would definitely stay again.

We just love Jim Thorpe and try to “get away” there a few times a year. We’ve stayed in several B&Bs and VRBOs in many quaint and quintessentially quirky towns over the last several years. JT remains at the top of our list. So much to do! Such a friendly and “hip” town. There is something for everyone and every lifestyle. We mostly enjoy the laid back vibe, the locals and the outdoor excursions. Jeffery’s place is so conveniently located, with ample off street parking, beautiful decor and a really different experience all around. It is simply one of the best experiences we’ve had with VRBO rentals. The owner was so easy to deal with. Contactless check-in, so many helpful suggestions on restaurants, wineries, museums, galleries, things to do and places to see. His Inn Keeper, Chad is awesomely responsive. We had 1 (very minor issue on check in (TV remote was not working) and he was right there to replace it with a new one. He is also very knowledgeable about town. He is both Consierge and Inn Keeper. We are already checking our calendars to book early for another JT Jaunt at the Highstreet Guest House Apt G

This place is Great! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Step right outside to walk up the main street. Go wandering out back and up the hiking trail to the super cool gardens. Top notch management and communication with hosts - just can not say enough good things and I will definitely be back!

It took me a while to find a place that was pet friendly and within Jim Thorpe but when I did I'm so glad I didn't second guess myself. This place was amazing and the people just as amazing. It felt like a home and not a rental. We will definitely be staying there again. And my dog absolutely LOVED the lower front windows where she kept an eye on the town!

Prime location for Jim Thorpe. We loved this unit as it was perfect 4 people and our two dogs. The owner and property manager are very accommodating if you need them. We will definitely stay here again.

Nothing short of amazing!

The rooms were just perfect (decorated for the holidays). Fireplace is an added bonus. The king bed in the master was super comfy and supportive. Bathroom is newly renovated and roomy (the dual shower heads were great) We've rented from this owner before and couldn't be happier with his descriptions, pictures and upkeep of the properties. Keep up the good work!

Jim Thorpe is such a nice town and the property was well equipped to suit my family. The location is walking distance from the town and shops. We all loved the heated bathroom floors! And enjoyed playing games around the dining table. Can’t wait till our next stay! I will definitely be returning!!
