The location was great (within walking distance to Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University) and the staff were super considerate and helpful. They not only fetched my deliveries and brought them up to my room every day, but also let me use their clerical equipment (e.g., printer, A4 paper, stamp pad) when I was in urgent need. The cafeteria was actually closed due to COVID-19 (contrary to what Booking says!) but the manager kindly ordered me breakfast from KFC every morning. The room was very tidy and cleaned every day, with free bottled water and tea bags supplied daily as well. The sofa/working area in the lobby looked pretty cool, though I didn't get to use it as I was on a tight schedule. Besides, the hotel allows customers to either check out earlier or stay longer than the booked dates, charging for only the actually stayed nights; this is highly convenient for visitors with uncertain schedules. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel to low-budget travelers (for leisure or for work) who want a hassle-free and comfortable stay in Hangzhou.

There were some mosquitos, but a mosquito repeller was provided in the room, which probably helped dispel them in the end (after I got bit a couple times). The street outside was quite noisy, but luckily the windows of the room had good noise-canceling ability.

Breakfast is superb. Appreciate the welcome fruits and snacks. :) I got refreshed by the wood aroma as I entered the room from my tiring day. What a nice surprise. I immediately thank the Lord for preparing such a wonderful hotel for me. The hotel should post new pictures on its booking site. It didn't look impressive in the photo but when I made an international phone call to check out its location with the receptionist, i already knew it would be a good choice for this trip. The stay in experience was good. It was walking distance to Zhejiang University and that was great!!
