I recently had the opportunity to stay at Vila Dana in Cluj, Romania, and I wanted to share my positive experience with others. Overall, I found Vila Dana to be a fair location with good access to the airport, although it was a bit far from the city centre. However, if you have a car, the distance from the city centre becomes less of an issue, especially considering their several on-site car park spots. One aspect that stood out to me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The bed sheets and towels were clean and well-maintained, which contributed to a comfortable stay. Additionally, I appreciated the presence of a microwave and tea maker facility in the corridor, as well as a vending machine for water and soft drinks. It was convenient to have these amenities readily available. Furthermore, I should mention that I was pleasantly surprised to find that they served coffee, even though there was a small charge. However, on one occasion, they helped me with a coffee free of charge, which was a nice gesture. The staff at Vila Dana, particularly the manager, were extremely friendly and accommodating. I encountered a payment problem during my stay, but they handled it with ease and without hesitation. They resolved the issue efficiently and went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued guest. The manager took the time to chat with me and even served me a coffee, which helped alleviate my stress and improve my mood. Her exceptional customer service truly made a positive impression on me.

Despite its location being a bit far from the city centre, the convenience of having a car and the availability of on-site car park spots make up for it.

The host was super nice and helpful, the room was clean and it also had an affordable pricing. Free parking in the yard. Perfect for a city break for a smaller family. The bus stop is close to the location.

It's located in an industrial part of the town, so the view is not very pretty, however if visited on weekend there is no outside noise which might occur during the weekdays

The location is not having a store near by, but we did not spend more than 1 night there, so we did not explore that much. We saw a market, but during the week end it was closed. We came with a baby, 1 year old and we had 1 double bed and 1 couch, not sure if it was extendable or not because the employee left before our arrival, at 19:00. The shower cabine is small and it is improvised, with small doors that does not make it confortable to use it. The room per ansamble was clean. The furniture is old, but useful.

The door lock was broken, and when we had to luck or unlock the door, we had to pull the door, change the direction. It was not working anymore. The room , the location needs investments to make it better.

Notting to like I was about to run away but was just to tired and go to search for a place to sleep as I had long journey .

the smell in the room . not clean curtains . the location just horrible, for the money that I paid I could get better accommodation and do not worth the money so sad that I didn’t left cause there was nothing prepaid and 0 fee cancellation. the sofa also was smelling bad. luckily the bed sheets were clean the towels too.

I love this place and the hospitality.

The place itself is very comfortable - one can find all things, which is necessary for 2-3 staying. We asked for a kettle and received it with additional cups! Ioana, the host, is very nice and easy-communicating, gave us useful tips about the highlights of the city. we definitely recommend it!

The location is rather far from the center and the area is very unpleasant - industrial surroundings, demolished buildings and so on. It is better to have a car or use a bus, which stop is nearby.
