Haus Monika und Haus Claudia was great! The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. It is directly across from the main gondola in Mayrhofen. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need. Nice balcony. Breakfast was great and parking on site. Also and ski and snowboard room with boot warmers. I would totally recommend this place and I would stay there again if I’m in the area! Thank you staff Hause Monika und Haus Claudia!

Location close to the lifts, shops, main venues

The guesthouse is really great when you look at its location (opposite the Penkenbahn lift!), it has a good breakfast and is cleaned well. However, we had mixed feelings about the hospitality. Upon arrival we found out that we had to store our snowboards in a room downstairs. In itself a convenient idea in terms of keeping the hotel tidy, but the room was unsupervised and accessible from outside - not a nice idea for someone with expensive gear. When we pointed this out, we were addressed very unkindly about this. Perhaps we are too cautious, but some empathy in this would have been nice. Although the pension itself is good, the hospitality feeling stayed the same during our stay.

The whole apartment was spotless, tidy and fresh. It felt comfortable with a real ‘family-feel’ so we were able to settle in straight away. The new kitchen was amazing and equipped with everything we could require and more to self-cater during our holiday. The central location is perfect, not noisy and we still had a view of the green fields and surrounding mountains. It was beautiful to wake up to each morning, especially with a balcony for every room. Everyone we spoke to were so warm and friendly - especially Martina, she really made us feel welcome, and appreciate everything she did for us! We will definitely be staying again.

If I had to be really picky… my husband is quite tall and broad, the shower cubicle was a little snug for him but stood it’s purpose and this isn’t an unusual issue for him! It was perfect for me and my mother. And appreciated the provided shampoo/shower gel and other bits and bobs. The sink was also big enough to be able to bathe our 3 month old son in too, which is an added bonus!

Best location, very good facilities Clean and cozy Decent, We missed the first day and they didnt even charged us for it! They did everything to make our stay pleaseant.

it’s right opposite the main ski lift in the centre of Mayrhofen. it’s a reasonable price and the host was very friendly. will be going back.
