The location is perfect, just in front of the river, surrounded by a beautiful garden, good space for parking and a nice swimmingpool. We stayed in the appartment with self catering. The appartment has absolutely everything you might need to make you feel like home. The terrace is huge. The host were superfriendly. The village Lalinde is just a few minutes walking and in front of the hotel there is a big supermarket. Many picturesque little villages just some minutes of a car drive. A perfect and very relaxing stay. Highly reccomendable.

Excellent breakfast content and service, but would have liked a finish time of 10.30 rather than 10.00 as we are slow risers! Grounds and pool area were wonderful, and our own patio was a delight. Close proximity to the supermarket was really useful. Plenty of beautiful places to visit, close by.

The kitchen was large and well equipped (apart from lack of eggcups!). However there was a very limited work surface area, making it difficult to cook a full meal from scratch. Perhaps a table in the kitchen would help; there was certainly room for one. Television controls were complicated, and needed clearer instructions, but once mastered, there was a good range of UK channels. The toilet seat needs to be replaced as it is the wrong size for the pan.

A very friendly welcome and a lovely spacious room overlooking the river. It is a joy to stay in this characterful house, grandly and imaginatively furnished and decorated, and to be welcomed by such friendly hosts. It is in an excellent location to explore the Dordogne valley, and to return to the pleasures of this beautiful place. The gardens are lovely and the pool looks like it would be very tempting (but not in October!)

Breakfast was excellent.

The B&B sits right on the river. The rooms are large and this was an old House converted. The owners are lovely and the perfect combo of helping you and leaving you alone which makes the stay enjoyable. Lovely breakfast which is included. It was a great location to explore all the villages nearby. Each room is decorated in a different style, the house is old, therefore expect a but of dust and grime.

Outside could use a a clean up and tidy up, gardening etc.....just for aesthetic purposes, but thats a preference and didn't affect the stay.

Tom and Sietska were brilliant hosts and really made us feel welcome. The hotel is in a beautiful spot right on the river, with big, comfortable rooms. It’s a short walk from Lalinde, which has a few good restaurants and there is a supermarket just across the road too. We’d recommend hiring bikes and canoes, which are a great way to see the Dordogne

What is the maximum I can write here? It was the splendid mix of everything that made us feel `home from home` at this great accommodation: the location can hardly be better, directly at the river Dordogne - beautiful views for breakfast, from the pool, from our room - the rooms were big, decorated with love to the detail and with comfy beds, the breakfast was extensive and delicious, the pool/-area was really big, there was a nice honesty bar but above all: the top host couple were permanently friendly and in good mood, were always helping us with good advice and reserved the restaurants for us at night. I sincerely hope that we will go back soon!

The property was large with sufficient parking and the pool was great as well as the balcony over the Dordogne. We also appreciated the guest fridge and the use of their little kitchen.

As with most older homes there is a musty smell in the stairwells.

Lovely owners. Great location base to explore the area. Nice view over the Dordogne from the hotel and the pool. The kitchen had all we needed for the stay.

Area is a bit quiet and dark in the night but no issues...
