Brilliant family accommodation, very spacious and very well equipped.
Huge enclosed grounds and excellent swimmiing pool.
Tracy our host was always on hand as and when we had queries about the house or local amenities and her recommendation about Buckets resturant was particularly a boost.

As a family of 9 with a toddler, this was the perfect place. Everything we could have possibly wanted was there for all of us. Tracy is a wonderful host - she was super helpful and attentive. We have had a magical holiday and highly recommend.

We stayed here, 10 people from age 8 months to 45 years and every single person could enjoy the stay! The pool and playing area was great for the kids, kitchen and social areas perfect for our families and Tracy is the best host 🙏 Higly recommended

A lovely home, perfect for multiple couples or large families. We stayed in Tracy's home just a short walk from the small village of Saint Martin de Gurson. In the village is a great Boulangerie with a very nice owner. This home is also close to Saint Emillion, which you definitely must visit. The home has 5 bedrooms all with ensuites which was perfect for our group. And a 6th bedroom with no ensuite. Great outdoor spaces and a very nice kitchen. The kitchen is large for European standards. We enjoyed the pool. But the most important thing about this VRBO is Tracy the host. She communicated extremely well with check in information and gave us great recommendations for the area. I highly recommend staying in this home.

Tracy the owner made our stay fabulous. The property was much larger than the pictures tried to show. There are endless areas to enjoy a very quiet time. The pool area and the backyard are amazing.
The house is very large and very well suited. The fireplace was a bonus for all of us to enjoy. Many details in the kitchen, the amenities were numerous and welcomed.
Kudos to Tracy, who could be reached and responded very quickly to few basic questions.
Thank you Tracy! You gave us the opportunity for my family to share this wonderful gem. Your kindness and humor enlighted our wonderful memories.
Kudos, definititely recommended.

Lovely location, plenty of space for our family of 6 adults and one child aged 2. Lots of toys both inside and out. We booked chef Marc for an anniversary celebration which was superb. All in all a great family holiday.

The property was excellent with so many items provided for the children from toys to DVDs to the garden to the swimming pool.
Our contact with Tracy was the best experience that we have ever had with an owner - we could not have asked for better response and attention.
Tracy was able to liaise with Mark over a special dinner. Mark was excellent - the food was amazing and one of our party commented that the duck was the best that he had ever tasted. Mark also provided local wines - at our request - and these were also delicious.
All in all this was the best self catering experience that we have ever had and I would no hesitation in recommending the property to anybody.
Thank you Tracy.

We had the most enjoyable stay at Le Peyrat. We were a three generation family, celebrating a special anniversary.
The lovely, spacious house accommodated our big family group brilliantly. Although the weather was extremely hot, the house and grounds and especially the much appreciated pool provided us with areas of shade and places to keep cool. Tracy was so helpful and made us feel at home. The meal cooked by the chef Marc on our last evening was a highlight. We also enjoyed trips to St Emilion, Bergerac and local markets.
This is place where memories are made. We would highly recommend.

This was the perfect house for us- an extended family of 12 people including grandparents, teenagers and the littlest one of 8 yrs. The property is spacious with en suite bathrooms for all the adults and loads of room for the kids. The garden is huge and beautifully kept- and the trampoline and table tennis were a huge hit with the kids! There were little corners of the garden to lose everyone if you needed a bit of peace and quiet too, but the pool was great, surrounded by pretty flowers and shrubs, but with plenty of sunbathing space too. The property was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen contained everything you could need to cook for a big family- although the evening we hired the local chef was fantastic and great value! We mainly stayed around the house and pool, but we did find time to go paddle boarding at the lac de Gurson which was brilliant with a really nice cafe and very clean toilets! We also went to the night market at Le Pizou on Tracy’s recommendation- arriving at 6.30 as she suggested. We had a fabulous evening with fantastic local food and entertainment!
We honestly couldn’t fault this beautiful property and would love to return one day. Tracy was so helpful with anything we needed, but never obtrusive in way at all. Just a brilliant holiday!

Tracy provided us with a perfect house, grounds and facilities for our family holiday. All 6 adults, one 18 yr old and 3 children (10, 8, 5) had a wonderful time. The house was exceptional, very comfortable and overly provided with dining-kitchenware and utensils; wonderful pool and grounds for us to all chase around.......the work involved in preparing everything for the next guests is very extensive and Tracy is to be congratulated on such a high standard. Highly recommended.

We spent a wonderful week at this property and would happily visit again. As an extended family group, including 3 children under 3, this was an excellent house with everything we could need. The garden is very child friendly, as is the pool with the fence and alarm system. We had some lovely dinners out on the decking and enjoyed exploring the local area. The host Tracy was on hand to help out with any enquiries we had, helping to arrange taxis and recommending lots of things in the local area. Thanks again for a wonderful week!

The house and grounds were beautiful and perfect for a family. Apart from visiting a local lake we spent an idyllic week swimming and enjoying the garden. The children were never bored and loved the outdoor play area. The adults played table tennis and relaxed in the excellent outdoor seating areas. It was so relaxing and absolutely perfect. The host worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was perfect, keeping the pool sparkling and lawn mowed but was never intrusive. Complimentary bottles of wine on arrival and milk in the fridge.
We arranged for a local chef, Marc, to cook the birthday meal and it was indescribably good. I will hesitate to do anything similar in the future because I don’t see how anything could come close. Mark cooked an amazing meal, served it and cleared up. It was incredible value.
All in all an unforgettable stay. Thank you Tracy for allowing us to stay in your home and thank you to Mark for making our celebration perfect

Beautiful location, lovely property, more amenities than we could possibly enjoy during our three day stay!

It's a wide and pleasant house, situated in a very nice rural region.
There are minor problems of maintenance. Generally speaking the house is comfortable, very well equipped. And all for a fair price. The owner Ms. Tracy is very sympathetic and happy to help.

Had a great 2 weeks here. The house was perfect for two families, with excellent kitchen and living room and en suites in all but one room. Good pool and grounds but most important - the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, not only day to day but also literally going the extra mile when our car broke down. Can definitely recommend.

The property was lovely and spacious, plenty of space for 6 adults and three roaming toddlers. Beautiful setting with large garden and clean warm gated pool, with loads of garden toys to keep the kids (and adults!) entertained. Tracy was so welcoming, always available but never intrusive. We had a wonderful get together after two years of not being able to holiday. Thanks so much for a great stay!

A wonderful place for a nice holiday with one large family or two families. A well equipped accommodation! Lots of toys present outside and inside (diapers, role playing clothes, cars, books etc.). The hostess is taking excellent care of the pool. Lovely markets in the surrounding area, wine tastings in nearby chateaus and the wonderful landscape ensured we enjoyed ourselves. We would like to come back!

Holiday Property that has everything.
A Lovely Relaxing Holiday
Had a amazing time in Le Peyrat. This property has everything you need to have the perfect Holiday with the family.
The House is beautifully designed. With a large well equipped kitchen and dining area. The living room was large and comfortable and easily catered for our family.
Bedrooms were beautiful and spacious with really good quality mattresses…
Garden areas ( which there are many )
were stunning and well maintained. There were so many areas to either sit out and dine or to find quiet spots to relax.
In addition, there is so many things to do in the garden to keep the kids occupied.
Swimming pool is wonderful with plenty of sun loungers and Parasols
Tracey the property owner was always available when needed and nothing was ever to much to ask. Tracy’s recommendations for restaurants were outstanding. The food was incredible.
We have stayed in many Holiday Homes throughout France over the years and this property is the best we have stayed in by some distance. I really cant recommend this property enough. We had such a good time and loved every minute of it. We are hoping to go back next year.

Excellent property and location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a group of 5 adults and 4 children comprising 3 generations we had plenty of space. The property was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. The grand children loved the pool and couldn't get enough. The weather was great but as expected this time year a couple of days were cooler but having a huge wood burning stove with a plentiful supply of wood meant the whole house became warm and cosy. My grandson wanted to learn ride a bicycle. We were loaned one which I thought was a great touch.
Tracy was fantastic host. She was always available if we need recommendation for places to visit or eat. The market a St Foy la Grande was a great recommendation as was The Bucket Auberge Inn restaurant which provide meals tailored to the grand children's taste. We were all sad to leave. I would definitely recommend this whole experience it was excellent.

All went super well and uncomplicated. Although Tracy could not receive us due to a family urgency she had someone waiting for us to hand over the keys and explain everything. The house is huge and because we were only five we had a lot of room and each of us could withdraw and do his / her own thing if needed. The many bathrooms were a peace guarantee! Our toy poodle Lorenzo enjoyed the huge garden. It must have felt like he had entire France for himself. We had Tracy’s chef, Marc, come twice and cook dinner for us and chat with us. We totally recommend it! We should have booked two weeks instead of just one to enjoy more of the house and the region.

We had a super stay, lots of toys are available and it is just a beautiful and clean place! Host was nice and helpful.

Family stay
Lovely stay in such a well equipped house especially for families with young children. Pool was lovely and Tracy made sure it was warm enough when needed. Only disappointment was that the local restaurant and bakery seem to be permanently shut but beautiful surrounding villages and towns nearby.

A beautiful home in a lovely setting. Tracy was a very good host and always available if needed. She told us is lovely places to visit and enjoy. The home is a lovely place for families with a bakery and supermarket nearby. The property has some lovely rooms and is ideal. Overall a very good holiday.

A birthday celebration with extended family
Great for families and children with pool, indoor and outdoor toys and trampoline. Tracy is very easy to contact and services the pool every day. She had good suggestions for places to visit and experience. The chef that came to the house to cook a wonderful birthday for our extended family was such an amazing experience and definitely recommended. The boulangerie in Saint Martin is closed temporarily which meant a short drive to the nearby village. The Lac du Gurson is another good family day out. We all enjoyed every minute of our holiday week.

Village had closed dowm
Whilst the owner stopped answering my emails (weird because I booked and payed for the holiday) she did reply to another member of the party,
When we arrived there was no table tennis table as stated
The biggest problem and this was totally out of the owners control the bar and restaurant and bakery in the village were closed so the much anticipated morning stroll to the bakery for fresh croissants and bread was out of the question as were the leisurely lunches and evening meals at the bar.
If we had known this we would definitely changed our booking we had to drive to everything spoilt the whole experience

Perfection
The house is stunning, and the garden/pool/pétanque pit is just fab for a sunny lazy day. Nothing is too far - le lac, saint Emilion, vineyards and lovely little local towns/villages are short drives away. The village itself is very pretty and has a lovely restaurant (5mins walk). Tracy is an amazing host, so easy to get hold of, chat to etc.. nothing was too much trouble. There was 9 of us including one toddler and it suited us completely. There are so many toys - my little boy was in his element!! Don’t hesitate in booking this place it’s a little slice of heaven. Real France.

Autumn fun at Le Peyrat
This property is set in beautiful countryside close to a variety of excellent places to visit. In particular we enjoyed a visit to the gardens of Sardy, where we were given a wonderfully personal tour of the gardens by the owner himself. We also enjoyed trips to St Foy la Grande (with canoes); St Emilion, including an excellent tour of the catacombs; Begerac and the chateaux of Bridoire and Monbazillac; and the delightful Lac de Gurson nearby. However, the highlight of the holiday for us was the wonderful time had by the two little children in our party, who were constantly at the poolside or bouncing on the trampoline. The whole experience was finished off with a trip to a local vinery, organised by Tracy, and a superb meal provided for us at the property. Many thanks for a memorable week

Perfect family holiday
What a perfect venue and location for two families to come together with their 18 month old grandson. Tracy is a first class host, a welcome basket on arrival and Dimitri the chef for the night was so memorable. The slide, trampoline, toys and pool were a hit to keep the little one entertained. Recommend a day trip to Bergerac old town and of course wine country St Emillion. Can’t wait to return again, already planning the next trip. Thanks guys

Absolutely wonderful
We all had such an amazing stay here in the barn house ! The sights to see were incredible here and the wine experiences we endured during our stay made it ! If we weren’t out and about, a day at the pool just as fun! We all felt very cosy here in the barn and had such a fantastic stay. Thank you Tracy .

We had a wonderful family holiday at Le Peyrat.
Le Peyrat is a perfect farmhouse to have a wonderful family holiday.
We could not get our grandchildren away from the swimming pool.
It is just a short stroll from the village with a nice restaurant and pub, along with a bakers.
The lake with its man made beach and safe swimming is well worth a visit.

Fantastic cottage in a lovely part of France, perfect for the kids with lots for them to do
We had a great week at Tracy's property. Tracy was a great host and the house lived up to all our expectations. The garden and pool are amazing, and there are lots to keep the kids entertained...tree house, trampoline, petanque, tree swing. We also all really loved the BBQ and outside dining area. Would be happy to come back again sometime.

A great place for a family holiday.
We had an excellent family holiday. The children enjoyed the large heated pool, trampoline and tree house. The adults also enjoyed the pool as well as the outdoor seating. The chef was very pleasant. We tried and liked both of his menus. Sadly the village bakery was closed but Tracy says they hope to have a new one soon. The lake wasn’t open for swimming when we visited.

Fabulous place - even better than our first visit!
This is our second visit to this farmhouse. Our first visit was back in 2012 and in the five years between visits Tracy and Brian have continued to make enhancements to the property (particularly outside). The property is spacious and clean and has all the equipment you could possibly want. The property is well equipped with families and children in mind. Our party of 12 had 4 young children between the ages of 10 months and 6 years old and there was plenty to keep them occupied and in a safe environment (The pool is fenced and alarmed and the gardens are all fenced off).
The local village is small and quiet with a local restaurant which has just reopened and was beautiful. We ate there on a couple of occasions. Tracy phoned and made reservations for us when all the party wanted to go together.
Just a short drive away Lac de Gurson has received a huge investment and offers free canoeing, use of the beach, walks and a really nice children's play area.
Tracy and Brian are lovely hosts, are available should you need them whilst letting you get on and enjoy your holiday in peace. We certainly hope to return for a third time soon!
