We thoroughly enjoyed the location and property. The courtyard is delightful. We ate fresh oranges from a tree in the courtyard. Many sights are within easy walking distance of the apartment. Carlo and Laura are pleasant and helpful hosts!

This is my third stay in Carlo's studio apartment and it was like coming home. The design of this compact place is just right because it was put together by Carlo and his wife, both architects. So, whether the tenant is a man or woman, their needs have been anticipated. A kilim on the floor and artwork on the white walls make the place bright and pleasing to the eye. Coffee,bottled water, jam and croissants are a nice welcome to a weary traveler. A bakery, restaurants and supermarket are nearby and the bus to the airport is about 9 blocks away. Two thumbs up!

I stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed the privacy of the garden, with its orange trees and resident cats. The view makes the studio seem larger. The host, Carlo, is very responsive. The Capo market, cathedral, gourmet supermarket and opera house are in walking distance as well as the Politeama stop for the airport bus (only 6E).
The kitchen is well equipped and the bed and pillows are wonderfully comfortable. The only disappointment was that there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom.

Lovely haven of peace and quiet in the centre of Palermo. Carlo was very accommodating and helpful with local recommendations. Apartment was clean and comfortable with a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Apartment opens onto a lovely tranquil garden with lots of cats! After the buzz of Palermo it was lovely to come back to this little oasis of calm.

Palermo itself was pretty chaotic, but Carlos space was peaceful and quiet. The yard space and apartment are in a courtyard inside several locked doors, so it felt very secure. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a small but nice and clean space to sleep while here. Carlo was very flexible, which is especially helpful for us traveling abroad. The grass in the yard was overgrown and the lounge chairs had a few spots of bird droppings but we wiped them and it was fine as we spent little time lounging on the property. There were adorable (wild) kittens in the yard, as well. It is easy to get around to trains, and there’s many restaurants in walking distance. The one downside was we both ended up with multiple bug or spider bites while sleeping (they weren’t a problem at first). Carlo left us a bug trap for the mosquitoes, which we used. We kept the windows closed and air on to minimize their entry. Carlo also stocked the little fridge with a few things. Overall a pleasant experience.

This little studio was perfect for two adults. It offers calm and peace right in the middle of a very busy Palmero. Conveniently located in central Palmero it’s an easy walk to markets, historical sites, and services. L’Oblo laundry was close by and so many great restaurants. We’d stay here again.

Communication with Carlo and check-in was easy. Location was perfect: quiet residentiel street, safe area and you can walk everywhere: 10 minutes from Massimo theater or market, 20 minutes to cathedral or Norman palace, 30 minutes to train station. Small and comfortable studio with very large window door opening on a lovely garden. Visited in April and enjoyed a lot having breakfast in the garden.

Carlo is a super nice host. He took his time, gave me tips for my stay and showed me around the flat after I arrived after 2am. In the end, I even forgot my shoes, and he lost no patience and forwarded them to me. If you have mosquito spray with you, you will have a wonderful time at this hidden place.

The apartment was perfect for us as it has a kitchenette which was sufficient for the odd meal as we mostly ate out anyway.
Aircon was a godsend in the heat and humidity as was the charming garden complete with hammock, garden furniture and cats! A garden in central Palermo was a privilege to enjoy!

Central location - in a quiet courtyard
Very nicely equipped and kept small appartement in the patio of a mansion from 1906, green, calm and shady but still only 6 minutes walk from Teatro Massimo or 15 minutes to Quattro Canti. Carlo is a really charming and helpful host (a little Italian required for conversation) providing abundant suggestions for sightseeing, eating and shopping, explaining basics of Palermos 2000+ yr. history on top. Don't miss!

un séjour parfait dans un endroit de rêve
Pour qui aime les séjours en ville, mais souhaite après une (ou plusieurs) journée(s) à avoir parcouru le ville de Palerme pour en voir le plus d'aspects possibles, le studio est plus que parfait. A l'abri du bruit mais proche du centre, isolé de la rue et avec un jardin incroyable, on est accueilli avec une grande gentillesse par notre hôte qui se met en quatre pour nous faciliter la vie pendant ce séjour. Vraiment un lieu où l'on aenvie de revenir e de rester;

The magic garden
The small apartment is designed for maximum efficiency. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom up to date and the view onto the garden makes the small space seem larger. Mosquitoes were present, probably because of the April rain.

Nous confirmons tout ce qui a déjà été dit par les locataires précédents. C'est vraiment une location idéale pour visiter Palerme à pied. Le logement est beau, calme et confortable. En octobre-novembre, munissez-vous d'un anti-moustiques!

Nice way to start a trip
The property was very clean and in a more modern part of Palermo. Transportation to and from the airport was very straight forward, having Carlo meeting us at the bus stop was great. There were small things that were very thoughtful, night light, drying rack outside for clothes, basic food stuffs to start the stay. The only complaint, our mid 70 year old bodies worked at getting out of the bed. An additional 6 inches in height would have been nice.

Wonderful gem in the city
This apartment with its beautiful little garden was a treat. Everything is clean, neat and well designed. The host left goodies in the refrigerator, as well as coffee. Carlo was so helpful and communicative. He even arranged for our pre-dawn taxi and called to be sure it arrived. The city was bustling, but the area of the apartment was quiet and cozy. Great shower and comfortable bed. We hope to return on our next trip.

This is the most amazing hidden space in Palermo. A great compact accommodation that has everything you need & a garden to boot with a heady smell of orange blossom. Carlo, the owner was so helpful in suggestng places of interest to visit & to eat. We felt we were staying at a friends house & we will definitely be going back.

A peaceful haven in a busy city
Carlo is a very kind host. He welcomed us on arrival with food and wine. He provided some excellent olive oil for our stay and many other things. The flat is small but ideal for two people and the bed is very comfortable. The location is great - on the interior of an old Palermo apartment bloc, away from the noisy main streets, hence quiet at night. Also all the main sights of the historic town centre are within walking distance (or a short walk to the free bus that winds its way through the narrow streets), e.g. the Cathedral, the Palace, etc. There is a gluten-free bakery 2 mins walk round the corner, a small supermarket a few mins away and a major street market for fruit and veg. Next to the supermarket is a Russian grocery which sells food not available elsewhere, e.g. buckwheat, herrings, fresh sheep cheese...

The apartment was fully equipped with everything that you needed, milk, water and orange juice was cooling in the fridge which we were very grateful for on arrival. They also supplied toilet roll, shower gel, shampoo and many other things which was very kind and thoughtful. The garden is very quiet and a great place to relax after the hustle and bustle of Palermo. Carlo very kindly told us about a collectable taxi from the airport which was 7 euros each compared to taxi prices. You can also get a coach from the prada shop for 6 euros each which run every 30 minutes back to the airport.The apartment is within easy walking distance of some fabulous restaurants which you will find situated up the side streets and very reasonable in prices. The locals were lovely friendly people, a visit to the local market is a must where you will find a bargain if you want to barter the price. Carlo is always available if you need any help and we would definately stay here again. Thank you Carlo and Laura it was a pleasure meeting you both.

The perfect oasis from the energy of Palermo
This is a lovely studio apartment with a back yard that takes you away from the sometimes crazy energy of Palermo. It is small but perfect for a couple and Carlo and Laura are wonderful hosts. My husband and I are so grateful that we found this apartment and you will be too!

Comfortable studio within walking distance to Palermo sites. Nice to have a secluded spot to sit outside after a day battling city traffic. Carlo is a kind, considerate host who is always available if needed.

Perfect apartment and wonderful owners
We stayed for 6 nights but with hindsight we wish we had booked 7 or even 8 nights! Carlo was a wonderful host. He gave us so much really interesting information about places to see ( not just the usual tourist places) and to eat. We had a mutual interest in architecture too.
The apartment is of course small being a studio but perfectly designed and furnished so it didn't feel cramped. It was immaculate and Carlo had kindly provided so many basics eg milk, water, coffee etc and even shower gel and shampoo.
The apartment and the garden were an oasis of peace and quiet to return to after the noise and bustle of Palermo.
The location is perfect too. Not only central (eg. 5 minutes walk to Teatro Massimo) but also has a really good bakery 2 minutes walk away plus restaurants and little supermarket 3 minutes away. The famous street market is 4 minutes away. If you like shopping for clothes etc ( which we don't!) there are plenty of the usual international shops nearby.
If we ever travel to Sicily again we shall be sure to book another stay here and go to see the historic sights, beautiful buildings and museums that we ran out of time to see

A fantastic place and great host.
The apartment is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The garden is fantastic - a lovely place to eat out or just sit and relax. The web site photos are accurate. Carlo is very friendly and helpful. It is in a nice neighborhood and only 20 mins walk to the very centre. Palermo is a very nice city. Great historical sites but interesting and safe to just walk about and enjoy the markets, piazzas and street life.

An Oasis of Peace
In a city as bustling as Palermo this studio apartment is a little gem.
After a busy day of sightseeing, it was a pleasure to return to this haven of calm and sit in the garden under the shade of the orange trees.
Apartment had a large comfy bed, small kitchen with all necessary items and a well equipped shower room.
The friendly and helpful owners were on hand whenever you needed them.
All in all a fabulous place, and we would certainly recommend this apartment to family and friends.

A beautiful base for enjoying Palermo, a secluded spot, close to the heart of the city
Arriving at the apartment was a great introduction to our short break in Palermo. A simple, beautifully furnished, comfortable, well-equipped and clean apartment, with own entrance from the garden. We didn't cook this time, but there were good facilities for making a meal, and a table on the patio to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun.
We had a warm smiling welcome from Carlo, who was on hand with advice and information as soon as we arrived. He gave us a quick orientation to Palermo and some top tips for what to see and where to eat (we ate at the very popular Bisso’s on both our evenings). The apartment was a lovely peaceful place to come back to after a day's sightseeing and at the end of an evening out.
Carlo and Laura were very hospitable and generous in spending time with us and sharing about life in Sicily.
All in all a fantastic start to our first visit to Sicily.
