The only good thing about this property is the location and their infinity pool
They don't even offer bottled water on the premises, the "restaurant" has 2 options for lunch/dinner and the breakfast is a plate with eggs and bread. They don't maintain the bungalows AT ALL. Cracks in the walls, holes in the walls, cobwebs at the headboars of the bed, the blinds were broken and my son got so many bites while he was sleeping. When we said we were disappointed and dissatisfied and wanted to cancel our 2nd night they told us we had to pay for both even if we left and sisnt stay the next night. Motel 6 would have been a better option than this bug infested dump.

The closeness to the beach.
Lack of activities inside the Lodge. Pool with people not respecting the rules.

There was heavy rain and flooding the day we arrived so we asked the onsite manager if we could cancel our stay and return another day. He said yes, we could cancel it through Booking.com and return another day. So we did that, but the hotel denied our request and charged us for the stay. Very misleading. We sent another message that went unanswered. Now they lose a returning customer and many others of people we know. Very short sighted and typical bad management.

Complex with a lovely yard and nice solid houses. Everything is clean and well maintained. Big window, balcony with a table and chairs. Location a bit away from the noise but direct access to the beach. Private infinity pool.
Would be nice to have chair(s) in the room.

They had breakfast ready for us every morning. The pool was very clean. Beautiful location, proximity, and accessibility to the beach. Very friendly staff.

location was good
breakfast was terrible, couldn’t even get a cup of coffee, staff were very lazy

Muyuyo Lodge's location is hard to beat, right on the beach with easy access from the hotel via stairs. I appreciated the staff's helpfulness and breakfast is included. Overall, great deal for the price.
I cannot think of anything I did not like from this stay.

nature with beach was a nice contrast,
no food available, and no bar , room a little updated ,

How close to the beach it is. The size of the property. Easy to find
our outdoor table was removed Fridge was not level. A little noisy through the walls of other guests

The location is excellent, about 30 steps above the right side of the beach. I enjoy the grounds of the hotel with lots of fruit and flowering trees. Breakfast was good. Room is larger than most hotel in this price range in Ecuador. Bed is queen size and comfortable. Air conditioning and WiFi are good. The floors of the bathroom were non-slip surface which is safe. Balcony had a view of the lovely garden. The dining area is spacious and open.
The room could have used a second container for trash and a second mirror. I am unsure if the lodge offers clothes washer and dryer for guests, would be nice to offer this service for a small fee. The spiral staircase up to the room could use a guard rail.

The location is great, overlooking the Ayangue Beach. Breakfast is simple, but delicious
With better clarity in the communication by the staff, a lot of misunderstandings could have been avoided

Muyuyo Lodge is a perfect stay in Ayangue. Steps from the cove beach. The room was clean, comfortable and large. There is a slider door that went to a balcony with 2 chairs and small table. The breakfast was good The family that runs the place are great and most gracious.
Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat on the Ecuadorian Coast.

The location is good but, in my case, I did not had beach view. The double bed room is bigger than other hotels in the zone. The staff was very kind and allowed me to park my vehicle before check in and after check out hours.
The bathroom has a little fail, but it was OK.
