Rose Hut est une hutte de bergers construite à la main par un artisan aux plus hauts standards. Il est positionné avec des vues de grande portée sur notre lac vers les forêts anciennes. Il offre une expérience unique de glamour dans une cabane haut de gamme avec une nouvelle salle de douche entièrement équipée à seulement 20 pas, une grande zone de terrasse pour s'asseoir et regarder les hirondelles alimentées au-dessus du lac et un spa (partagé) pour se détendre au bout de Un jour d'exploration.
La cabane bénéficie d'une vue imprenable dans un endroit rural paisible sur un petit domaine privé, situé dans le centre de Kent, à quelques minutes en voiture de toutes les attractions et châteaux du Kent, avec de nombreuses promenades et sentiers à la porte, vous pouvez vous éloigner de tout et se détendre.
La cabane dispose d'une table à manger rabattable en chêne assise 4, qui se replie la nuit et se transforme en lit double. La cuisine est également fabriquée à la main en chêne avec un évier à majordome, une cuisinière à gaz à 2 anneaux, un petit réfrigérateur et un four à micro-ondes. Les bancs de cuisine sont transformés en lits superposés pour les enfants.
Pour les nuits froides, vous pouvez vous blottir autour du brûleur à bois, ou utiliser le chauffage électrique, avec des murs doublés en polaire entièrement isolés, vous serez chaleureux et chaleureux quel que soit le temps et l'heure de l'année

A wonderful weekend away from the busy life of kids & work to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. So peaceful & calm, the hot tub was great & the games table was a fun addition. The hut was small but big enough for 2, I would think it would be too cramped with anyone else as there isn’t anywhere to store clothing otherwise but was perfect for us. Plenty of food storage with an extra fridge which meant we could store bbq food easily for a relaxing evening on site.
Overall a wonderful stay, would definitely return!

Rose Hut was great. As a family of 3 we were looking for cosy, views and especially for our 12 year old daughter a hot tub. The hut was clean and and had everything we needed i.e. a small fridge and microwave. We had extreme weather so the log burner was used. The shower room was clean and warm. Definitely would recommend and will come back in the future.

We had a lovely weekend, we stayed in The Shepard’s hut. It was clean and had everything we needed just took our food and drink. It’s great if you are wanting peace and privacy. The booking was simple and so was the check in and check out. We will definitely be back! Thank you Wendy and Nigel.

The property was smaller than looked on photos but it had plenty of cupboared storage ,took a little while to find our bathroom ,bit when i did it was a wow,loverly and warm ,clean and loverly big towels.i would of loved a booklet to read rather than keep going back into my emails on arrival to find instuctions .a very nice place for peace and quiet and good hosts when needed and the hot tub on xmas day i loved .yes i would return again as would love to see the place in full bloom in the summer months .

Lovely get away to the sheppards hut. Very peaceful location nothing around you. Was clean inside but I always take a cloth and give things a wipe over again since covid times. Small space has been used wisely it was very cosy.

Lovely quiet getaway
I took my son 13 and baby 15 months had such a lovely stay, the gut is small but had all you could possibly need. If I didn’t have to use the travel cot It would have given us way more room. Deck area is really big. I would definitely go back

100% relaxation
Little gem of a find in the Kent countryside. We stayed for two nights, you cant beat the view of the sun going down from the hot tub. Lovely lake to swim in, superb walks and local pub. Would rate highly if you want peace and quite and stunning views.

Amazing location
The hut is simply magical and can be enjoyed thoroughly even by a family of four with two children (9, 11). It is fully equipped, it has all sorts of clever features to create new spaces and storage but it is also cosy and welcoming. The table tennis room was an extra special feature we did not expect and that made a difference on stormy days. The hosts were very responsive to all our queries being very friendly and helpful. The area is secluded, the hot tub can be enjoyed in full privacy and most destinations can be reached within a 30-min drive. We will definitely be back to brave the open swimming in the lake… in July!

Surprise birthday trip for wife
I think this is an excellent place to stay, the location is perfect, very quiet, outstanding views and it has everything you need, it’s very cosy, the lake is directly in front of it and the hot tub is also great, the hosts were very helpful and made us feel very at home, I highly recommend it and we also looked at their other accommodation in the hedgehog hall which we want to try next time

Amazing weekend getaway
We stayed for 3 night in the shepherd's hut and it was amazing. We'd been worried about it being cold but with the wood burner on it was lovely and warm. Hot tub was great and the view from it over the pond and to the woods was incredible. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

Absolute Bliss and tonic in amazing surroundings
Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. Very Romanic ( wont take the kids next time) Nigel the host very friendly and helpful. Sooooo relaxing, local pubs good and near to Canterbury and Maidstone, good for shopping. Loved this place, will return soon...Nice check out time of 11.00 am Comfy double bed. Bunk beds only suitable for children, which is made clear. Thank you

Would definitely recommend staying here, there is a lovely walk through fields and woods to get to a nice pub for dinner, of which a map is displayed in in the ping pong room!! Hot tub was lovely and clean and was so nice to relax in the evenings. Overall a fabulous stay.

Wonderful short break
Booking, check in, and the accommodation could not be faulted. Wendy was a great host. The Hut was comfortable, the shower room very clean. We made use of the BBQ and private hot tub. Views were great, a very peaceful location.

Amazing location but cleanliness poor
The views and location were amazing so peaceful and relaxing, hosts were welcoming and great easy directions and check-in information. We loved the shepherds hut it was lovely and cosy and had everything we needed, however the only downfall was the cleanliness inside was poor, their was grass and fluff on the floor from people before, it didn’t smell fresh and signs that worktops/table/handbook hadn’t been cleaned as dirty/sticky. The hot tub was a disappointment as it also hadn’t been. Leaned, there was grass and flies in it and scuzz marks around the edges. I could feel dirt/sand on the base of the hot tub when in it and the temp was stuck on 32 degrees, so quite chilly! Other than that very pleasant stay.

It was really nice and quite once we checked in we had no one bother us for the whole night my girlfriend really enjoyed it for her birthday the hut was really cozy and there was already some coal there so we put the fire and the hot tub was really good overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it and we will be coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Birthday Retreat
I had a fabulous weekend in the Shepherds Hut for my birthday. It is beautifully set up with everything you need for a short break. Set in amazing surroundings; just the peace and quiet we were after. The bathroom is just a short walk away and is a very high standard. Added bonus of a hot tub to add to the whole experience. We chilled out on the decking and enjoyed the September sunshine. Would also recommend Waggon and Horses for a lovely pub meal. Very relaxed and friendly, making us feel very welcome. If you want to get away for a few days and not travel very far, you really can't go wrong with Landews Meadow Farm.

Fantastic stay
My siblings and I booked a 4 night stay here for our mums birthday and she absolutely loved it! They said they felt totally relaxed all weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the quirkinesses of the hut! From an organising perspective it was simple and Nigel and Wendy couldn’t have been more helpful.

Beautiful Hut with an unreal view!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the shepherds hut for 2 nights as a christmas present from my parents. We absolutely loved it! The hut is gorgeous, well equipped and surprisingly spacious! The bathroom is very modern and clean.
The view of the lake from the decking is beautiful.
We loved the hot tub and made the most of it during our stay!
Wendy and Nigel were very friendly, welcoming and helpful with anything we needed.
We will definitely be returning in the future, and I know a number of my friends and family will be looking into booking after seeing the photos we posted online!
