The views were amazing from the property and bed was very comfortable

You have to take expensive taxi to get property from the station, access to the property on a very steep road. First night we we’re enjoying the sunset with a wine on the common balcony and in the morning at breakfast the host told us off in front of other guests that you cannot have any drinks or food on the balcony or your room, this place make up there own rules and was never disclosed within booking, very disappointing.

downstairs room was small. the exterior door lock was impossible to open. pathway to parking is dangerous at night because a few of the lights are burned out.

we loved the location the terrace the bathroom was amazing the staff over the top!!

Villa Crawford is so spacious and peaceful that it feels like you're the only people staying there. Andrea is the most hospitable host we have ever had and goes out of his way to ensure you are happy with everything. The views are spectacular and the location is great too. We could not recommend this place enough. The most beautiful stay in all of Calabria!

There is a green small light in the room which is apparently for the emergency exit. Really bright and cannot be turned off at night, it bothered a little bit our sleep. Additionally there were dogs barking at the neighbors place pretty frequently, especially If somebody was walking by. They started early in the morning, can't say for sure if they are consistant residents or not...

Villa Crawford is a very special and wonderful place and the owner - Andrea- is a very wonderful and special person. The Villa is in a very charming village - San Nicola Arcella - it is small but has enough shops and restaurants and it is very pleasant to spend time there. Villa Crawford is about a 5 minute walk from the village. Right outside the gate is a hotel with a beautiful big veranda where we had a great lunch when all the restaurants in the town was closed for afternoon siesta. The rooms in the villa have an Amazing view of the ocean and at night you just hear the sounds of the ocean and the waves. Breakfast every morning on the veranda was a great experience. The room is big enough and the bathroom and shower are very good. The walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes. There are many lidos and three free beach areas. There is also a free beach area at the end with shade in the afternoon. We highly recommend Villa Crawford! Thanks Andrea for all your help and for being such a nice and friendly person.

Amazing view, very comfortable stay, good breakfast, kind and friendly staff, (free) private parking and direct access to the beach via stairs.
