comfy beds and nice space .....but,see below

Accsess , by stairs only...not good!!! and only street parking , lucky someone strong was available to ferry our stuff into and out of the property, not recommended for those with hip or knee problems!!

The house itself was beautiful, the bedrooms were incredibly spacious and everyone had their own wardrobe to hang up their clothes. The upstairs living space was spacious enough to play family games and stay cool with the air conditioner and the kitchen was big enough to have us all walking in and out when getting a drink. The view and location was stunning, we loved being able to watch the ocean from the porch as we ate dinner and relaxed outside. The beach was just a short walk away but unfortunately the closest shops were in Nelson Bay which required getting into the car to get to.

No linen and towels. The beds were not made when we arrived, and when we went to the agent to tell them about this she tried to make it out as our fault for not telling them earlier. We went out and bought extra towels as it was three days before we had anything. No fire blanket or even a fire extinguisher was found on the premises. Nor was there any smoke alarms. The house was dirty and dusty and there was a dead hornet found in the upstairs bath. Three of the light fixtures in the house had dead lightbulbs in them, and the main one was too dangerous for any of us to reach and try to change. Also one of the fans in the bedroom had no light cover on it and was left exposed. We used the barbeque only to notice that the ONE and only piece of equipment they left to clean it was disgustingly filthy and was in no shape to make the barbeque any cleaner after use. We had to deal with either a family of mice or birds living in the ceiling the whole week we spent there due to the hole we discovered. Every morning we were woken up by the noises it was making. None of the flyscreens on the windows were even on properly and we had issues of bugs flying in. The house needs some serious TLC done to it - we noticed a lot of cracks, water damage, floorboards not even proper length and left gaps everywhere, the mats placed around the house for cosmetic purposes on the floorboards were incredibly dangerous as they were slippery.

Closest to beach quiet area. House comfortable, plenty of room for all, lots of games and books, kitchen e well equipped.

We payed in full, then cost went up and we had to pay extra $43 as price on booking .com was higher than oringinal price. Was required to pay 50% desp positnowhere on booking .com was this mentioned, working with 3 companies made it hard when this happened House uneven floor levels making difficult small children,steep steps to street level

Good location, easy access to beach and cafes in Fingal bay. Good games room and BBQ

no internet, oven and cooker didn’t work, no cleaning products or soap to wash hands, no coffee making facilities and had to make own bed. very steep stairs not good for kids, and have to make own beds

Location

There was rubbish in the kitchen bin on arrival. Food from previous occupants on the floor, could tell it only had a very quick vacuum. Spent an hour or so cleaning so our nearly one year old could crawl around and not be eating food off the floor. No creature comforts like soaps or washing powder.

VERY HANDY TO DRIVE EVERYWHERE, AND BEST STAY FOR FAMILY WITH KIDS
