We visited this hotel as part of our journey from central Italy to Germany and back to Denmark. The location is beautiful, and not too far off from main roads. You can combine a visit here with a trip by car across e.g. one of the mountain passes, passing by the Lugano lake, etc. - all of which is stunningly beautiful! The hotel is in a quiet location, parking is free and so is charging for electrical vehicles (two Porsche location chargers are available in the parking lot). The city itself is small, but interesting, and the surroundings are beautiful. There's an included rooftop pool in the modern building (family rooms).

We stayed in one of the old / traditional apartments. The apartment had nice, spacious rooms and a beautiful, classical setting. It seemed that some of the rooms could do with a bit of renovating, though (nothing critical at all, only optical), and cleaning could be better - e.g. below the beds where dust was very visible.

A very charming hotel. We rented a room and the 6-person appartment. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was amazing! The shower was the most comfortable shower ever (great water pressure).

Although we really liked the charm of the hotel, the beds were really uncomfortable. I have traveled quite some places but have never had a bed this hard. When you sit down on it, it felt like sitting on a shelf. I would really recommend the hotel to invest in good mattresses as it would at a lot of value to the great potential of the hotel. Unfortunately we weren't aware of the breakfast option since it wasn't mentioned on booking.com. it would have been convenient to know this beforehand since we were in transit.

Excellent facilities, lovely staff, fantastic food

The space in the room was amazing, I felt like I was staying in a castle.

There was a lite sign directly outside one of my windows and it did annoy me as I tried to get off to sleep, lucky I travel with a sleep mask just in case.

This place is so special for us ,very welcoming the owners are amazing people ,very helpful and always ready to fulfill any requests.Super hard working people big respect for them.The place is very arty , brilliant design in a huge establishment. Surprisingly huge place you can lost easily ...perfect for weddings and celebrations.There is a swimming pool on the top floor with perfect view.Rooms are very modern and well designed.Huge terrace.

Very nice and very special. The main building is already extraordinairy..The room is large and the bath very nice and spacious. The main building is unique and the personnel friendly and relaxed. The sidebuilding with its roofgarden and pool looks like a art museum. Your have to see it because difficult to describe..It feels like in the middle of nature and mountains although in the middle of the village. The whole arrangement is impressive with a lot of little details.

A little maintenance like cutting some green covering the windows would be nice but not important.

Overly great staff and service.

Good location for a short break, to play golf in Varese and for our route onwards to Switzerland. The restaurant was excellent, with great service, lovely surroundings and delicious food. A good breakfast, all served personally. The building has a great history. The property has private parking. The bedroom was clean and comfortable.

No coffee making facilities in the room or complementary water which would have been nice.

Wonderful hosts!! The excellent and abundant breakfast was a great surprise! Furthermore, traveling with 3 children it’s great to have a single room for us all.
