Nos gustó la temática del lugar, como para relajarae
Las camas y las almohadas no muy cómodas, y el Toldo estaba manchado de rojo como de sangre en la parte de atrás.

the property is beautiful and the staff are very warm and friendly. Super hot water in the shower and the water pressure was GREAT! Breakfast is VERY good. Tours with Javier are very good, my young adult sons had a lot of fun with him. Natalie arranged a couples massage for me and hubby just past the closing time to accommodate our late return to the property. The pool was clean and beautiful - and cool enough to be refreshing after a long hot day in the Amazon. The staff will call you a cab so you can go down to Mishualli.
I'm not sure where to begin with this one. The tours with Carlos in particular were terrible and not worth the money. We went on the night walk shortly after arriving on property. He talked on his cell phone numerous times and left us waiting for him to finish his call in the pitch black jungle. He pointed out 3 bugs and a gecko, the 45 minute jungle walk includes checking out the glamping tents and the spa. We do understand that it is the jungle and you can't guarantee any sightings but to have to stop and check out a tent and listen to cell phone calls was ridiculous. The following morning we went fishing with Carlos - I can't even begin to tell you how awful this was. The saying "a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work" - not true for this trip. I would have rather been at work. The tour says traps, hooks and cast nets - nope its just a hook on a line with chicken guts, standing on a rocky beach for hours getting eaten alive by mosquitos to catch nothing. The rooms do not have a coffee maker and the kitchen doesn't open until 7. I'm an early riser and having to wait 2 hours for coffee was ridiculous. Speaking of that balcony - the sliding glass doors do not have any curtains so your first thought when you come in the cabin is "Wow how beautiful" but if you are trying to sleep past 6 am you are SOL. And those same balcony doors do not have screens and your cabin is HOT; your choice is to be eaten alive at night by bugs or sleep hot. There is no A/C and the room has a small fan positioned over the bed that does not oscillate. The sheets were threadbare and pilled. We slept terrible all 3 nights here. The spa was lovely until the owners 4 large guard dogs started barking and barked almost my entire 75 minute spa treatment. We really do love dogs but these dogs roam the property and can be unsettleing when they rush up to you barking as if they are ready to attack.

Everything amazing.. the place, the people working there, the breakfast, the nature around the lodge. Special thanks to Isbeli, she is fantastic! I’ll definitely be back!!

The property is beautiful! The bungalow was very private. You felt like you were part of the jungle when you opened the doors. The food was delicious! The staff was fantastic! This is a family run business, including the dog and the monkey! They had many good options for excursions.

we liked the cleanliness and the food on site was really top notch!
I wish the doors were fully sealed.

Beautiful accommodation with stunning Amazon views. The staff, especially Pablo and also Natalie were extremely kind and helpful, answering numerous whatsapps before and during the trip! 10/10 hospitality from both!
The only area for improvement would be the fact that the manager’s guard dog (we didn’t meet the manager) literally chased my husband, growling and barking, on our way to lunch. We like dogs as household pets but this dog displayed very aggressive, reactive behaviour that was frankly frightening. Whilst it is understandable to keep guard dogs to ward off predators/protect the property, we feel it is inappropriate for this type of dog to be roaming areas where guests inhabit with inadequate recall, including the food preparation area. I believe 4 guard dogs roam around at will. We were also concerned about the on-site semi domesticated monkey that also chased us (we were keen not to be bitten). I notice that the manager has responded defensively to feedback of this nature in the past but I would urge him or her to reflect on the comments rather than dismiss guest experiences. There is no need to get rid of the dogs but they do need to be under control or out of the guest areas.

the property itself is nice but that’s it. we were ripped off by the hotel for the tours. they don’t have prices online, and all descriptions of different experiences were so unrealistically blown out the propositions.. durations of each activities as well… the staff is nice, but not very organized.. we waited for majority of yours and food in the restaurant for an hour each.. all in all.. not worth money nor visiting

Remote site in jungle, excellent food and wonderful staff. The lodge has a pool and an beautiful natural garden.
Like everyone says the road to the lodge is challenging

The rooms feel very secluded and luxurious. I was a bit worried about bugs but had minimal intrusions.
Breakfast was excellent
The hosts were so helpful and responsive helping us arrange transport in advance via WhatsApp and answering all our questions
We loved the lodge itself but were quite disappointed by the tours we did. (The nightwalk and parrot trip). They weren’t really as described and our guide was not very interested in showing us things/ telling us about the area.

The view, the pool, the food 🙌
And of course … Frida 🥰

it was amazing, both the receptionist (Angel & Natalia) were so nice they made the stay incredible for us and helped us with all the tours. our guide Carlos & his wife were also so friendly and helpful. the rooms are fabulous and the whole lodge is just absolutely beautiful. The shampoo and conditioner are so good, I wish we could buy them.
The French manager could’ve been a bit nicer

Angel was by far the Best host we could have asked for, and He really makes the stay at this lodge unforgettable. Also, great food!
the only Thing missing was a blow dryer

Hamadryade offers a great experience, especially for the price. The rooms are luxurious and the overall facility is great. The food is really excellent, can be a bit pricey depending on your budget, but really the best food we had while in Ecuador. The activities we got the chance to do were really fulfilling and gave us a little look at the wildlife and culture in Puerto Misahuallí. With a little flexibility, this is a really amazing place to stay.

Location, ambiance, really broad menu and food really well cooked and presented. Very comfortable
Omission of a tea and coffee machine in the room. I like a cup of coffee when I get up but there was nothing other than waiting for breakfast. Similarly none available during the day. A small thing but to me would make a difference.
The food was very tasty with fresh ingredients, except on our first night we gave our order and both mains were wrong. Otherwise, superb.

- Staff was very friendly
- Breakfast was delicious - there was a good choice of food. All prepared absolutely fresh and in nice quantity.
- Very nice pool area, nice big clean pool
- Beautiful garden surrounding the cabanas and the pool
- Modern, spacey rooms, nice and many towels, very comfi beds, lovely bath products
- Dinner is pricey but the food was very fresh and yummy
- Free Wifi everywhere
- The dirt road up to the lodge was very challenging to drive with a (big) sedan - no 4wheel drive. This was a bit of a shame, because it made "coming home" after every trip (we stayed there for 5 nights) quite stressful.
- We had cabana 4 - and really loved it, but it turned out that the hot water in the shower did not work. To me, however, it is important to have a warm shower after swimming as well as in the morning. On day 2 we reported the problem and were promised it would be fixed. Unfortunately, this seemed not possible. For 2 nights we moved to another cabana with warm water. We were told that in the mean time the plumber would come to fix. So for our last night, we moved back to cabana. 4. To our surprise and disappointment there still was no hot water in the shower. When I reported this, they just answered it was supposed to work, but nothing could be done now.
Well this is a wellness lodge - and for me- part of wellness is hot water in the shower. Also, the lodge is not exactly cheap, As kind of compensation we were allowed to stay a bit longer on our last day and did not have to vacate the room at the set time. This meant we could enjoy a last relaxed swim in the pool, but nevertheless it left me rather unsatisfied. Shame, because the lodge as such is wonderful.

The food is excellent but pricey. For dinner you have to pay extra { breakfast is included in the price) and as an only option to eat at the hotel its a must to pay for it. We did not receive any written menu with prices only at check out we saw the amounts. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They organize you excursions l. They offer plane ride above the amazon, parrots clay lick, walks and many more.

The staff could not have been friendlier and the food was consistently delicious. The lodge is set in a beautiful location overlooking a canopy of tropical flora, with views out over the Napo valley. We saw beautiful stars, swam in the refreshing eco-pool and found it a perfect base for exploring Puerto Misahualli, the Napo Valley, and Tena. We had no issues with any of the animals like others have mentioned.
The rooms have fans rather than Aircon which was fine for us, but just a note for those that struggle in high heat and humidity.

Facilities were really good specially the room that was very comfortable and vey unique integrated with the landscape. In general facilities are quite good. Food was very good, value for money.
- They removed one bed-sofa that was part of my room. Although we were only three, I paid for the most expensive room and the room looked empty after they did it.
- they are quite complicated for food service. You need to order a few hours in advance (yes, a few hours!) in order to be served on time. We had to order the lunch just after breakfast.
- We booked a tour that was supposed to include transportation, guide, entrance tickets. We had to pay for the tickets and after paying the taxi, they wanted to charge again in the tour cost. I told them I would discount the taxi and they agreed, but it should have not been even an option.
In general, great facilities, good food but very poor service. I would not come back.

AMAZING!!! this property was insanely beautiful and everything exceeded our expectations. there is a Hotel mascot, Cotai named Martin, Who is so cute, acts like a toddler, but don’t cross him. The breakfast every single day was delicious we loved the amenities the hotel is amazingly clean, the staff was so helpful and nice.
if you have any hesitations about booking, just book this hotel and you’ll have an amazing stay.
thank you so much!!!
nothing!

Amazing setting in the heart of the jungle, the air, the noises and the view makes this place very unique. Great food at the restaurant (very expensive and really the only choice to have) Staff very attentive. Amazing interaction with the hotel animals (dogs, a little monkey, a coati and a parrot)
I will join the many reviews before me with a comment on the drive up - not sure why this hasn’t been addressed before - but it is very bad. You need a 4x4 with high clearance if you dont want to risk damage especially after rain. We were on a motorbike trip and I was advised by the staff that the drive up was ok but with a large bike plus luggage plus passenger we ended up crashing. It wasn’t anything major luckily but it could have been and also it was completely avoidable. Just fix the road once and you will eliminate the majority of the negative comments on the reviews..

Staff was great breakfast was good. The room had a beautiful location.
The room smelled damp and I was not prepared for how hot and humid it was in the room. I should have done more research knowing how how it was and no A/C

The breakfast was delicious. There was a wide selection on offer and you could have as much or little as you liked. Bella the cook was
Lovely, always smiling.
There was no one to greet us who spoke English. Bella only spoke Spanish and she had no idea what room we had booked. We waited an hour for Maeva, manager to arrive. Maeva the manager has 4 large stinky dogs that roam freely around all areas of the property barking and growling at guests. As well there is a wild coati, named Martin who jumps on tables, licking and knocking over glasses, licking the water container where you get fresh water at
Bar. He bit our friend and drew blood. Also one time at breakfast he jumped on our table and licked my crêpe and croissant. This was replaced . Also he freely walked into the kitchen and jumped on the prep table. Bella the cook kept shooing him out but he just continued to go back in the kitchen.
The room was spacious with a
Lovely terrace and beautiful view, but there was no sink in the toilet room and you had to walk all around the bed to
The other side of the room to wash your hands. The room was clean.
The long private driveway up to the property was in appalling condition.

hamadryade Lodge was the best place we could have wished for. Incredibly nice and stylish place but still so close and in harmony with nature. the hosts are super friendly and organise great tours for you. plus you definitively have to meet Martin, the cutest coati ever. :)
Nothing we did not like, everything was like paradise.

The place is great, with great amenities and staff
When we arrived the manager told us that they did not have enough rooms to accommodate us as per the reservation. It was an unpleasant surprise. Also the price of the food we bought was not told to us. Lack of communication on part of the staff.

That it was surrounded by nature!
It was like a paradise and a beautiful place!
It was perfect

The views were spectacular and the food and service was amazing! The bed was very comfortable and the rainshower in the bathroom was lovely with nice, hot water. There was also lotion with natural bug repellant offered as well as fresh drinking water in the room. The food (dinner and breakfast) was lovingly prepared with a french influence.
The road leading up to the property was VERY difficult. With the rain causing mud and the round rock on the road it was slippery. The room has gaps in the doorways and windows and walls/windows causing some creepy crawlers.... but this IS the Amazon!

The Lodge is in a very nice location inside the Jungle.
Drinks / Beers are very expensive. The food is good but also of the expensive side.
