Large apartment, spacious and beautiful. There is a wall of windows giving you a great view of the harbor area. It’s within walking distance to a restaurant and coffee shop. It was decorated perfectly (I took some photos for inspiration for my own home!) The host was very kind and check-in was easy. I would stay again in a second!

This is a rather luxurious apartment in a very nice small village. The place is very spacious, with a very large living room, large and very well equipped kitchen, a fully stocked laundry room (great to replenish your clean clothing stock while on travel) and three bedrooms (we were 5, but there's easily space for 6). Lots of nice small things like large TV, Wifi, games etc. The place is on the ground floor and has a long front which is all windows looking outside onto the street (which is next to the beach but not right on it). If you want privacy you can close the curtains, but otherwise you have a very broad view outside from the living room. The bedrooms are on on the inside (so private). Kitchen was very convenient to work and cook and well stocked in utensils and even some food (oil, salt etc). Parking is at the back. Had a very stay and enjoyed it a lot. The village is quite charming and this is a very nice base to stay in it. Easy walk to the center, church, ferry dock etc.

You have to get the keys from the guesthouse (a couple houses down the street). We missed that info, but a short phonecall to the owners solved this. Another potential shortcoming of this place is that there is only one bathroom. We were one family so this was ok, but it may not suit all groups.

Just rent this place if it’s available. The place is just outstanding and the town is one of the cutest towns in Iceland. We wished we could’ve spent more time in this place.

Wonderful and large apartment in a stunning location. The apartment was very spacious, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the bedrooms were comfortable. We also appreciated being able to do laundry in the middle of our trip.

Great location. Wonderful apartment. Had everything we needed. Make sure you read the instruction page when you arrive. It gives lots of helpful information about the apartment including how to lock the door. Abba at check in was so wonderful and gave us recommendation for viewing puffins which we loved.

Sneaky neighbor cat will try to creep in the window if you leave it open 😀
