Anni ist die Seele des Hostels. Sie hat eine angenehme Art und beantwortet dir all deine Fragen. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber, wir haben uns im Familienzimmer wohl gefühlt. 200 m zum Strand ist gut. In Samara gibt es alles, was man braucht, wir waren drei Nächte hier.

Lediglich die Lage an der Hauptstraße. Aber nachts ist es ruhig, tagsüber ist man ja eher am Strand

The kitchen: fully equipped and so clean. The location: a 5 minute walk from the beach, in the absolute centre of the town, surrounded by restaurants. The room: amazing, clean, spacious (as much as a hostel room can be) and so comfortable! The people: so amazingly kind and helpful.

Perfect backpackers. Central location. Super friendly owner / staff. Best equipped kitchen of any hostel I've stayed in. Comfortable rooms. Lots of space outside rooms with tables and hammocks. Supermarket 2 mins away. Beach 2 mins away. We loved our stay here. Mum + 2 teens.

Cold shower 🤣. Although not the end of the world when it's 36C.

Very nice location. Close to the bus stand, and close to the beach. Many restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The shared kitchen is nice, and has most of the essentials. The lady at the reception was very sweet and helpful.

The bed was very creaky. There was noise every time we took a turn. Rest, all good!

Annie and her large number of sisters went out of her way to make us feel at home. Even accommodating us to stay an unplanned extra night in the same room. Everything was as shown on the site and the big washing lines for drying clothes were an extra bonus.

Sweetest receptionist with her little helper (daughter) who was so very kind and helpful.

Specifically, our rooms has a very bad carpenter ant issue. All night getting crawled on and several other bug bites.

great location, super close to the beach and supermarkets etc. the staff were so lovely, especially the lady at reception in the day she was so kind and so helpful! the kitchen had lots of pots/pans/utensils etc

there’s no AC in the dorms. the rooms were so unbelievably hot, there were two fans in the room but they just circulated the hot air. we were asked to keep the dorm doors open for covid reasons (not had that anywhere else in CR) which is fine but there should be a lock on the mosquito mesh door because anyone can just walk from the street right into the dorm rooms in the day the fridge was broken for the first few days I was there but did get fixed on the fourth day.

Little traffic because on one of the main Road. Only cold water and when you are not well, you Wish to have a warmer shower. Private room Is nice but hardly fit sitting on the wc because too narrow.

Room was very hot, but 2 fans were nice

The location was nice excellent and the staff were lovely to interact with.

The mattresses were ver uncomfortable, the AC did not work very well and the electrical outlets for the double bed in the room were placed right where your pillow/head rests making it very uncomfortable. But the worst was the tiny bathroom- I am a taller guy (~192cm) and I could not sit down on the toilet without my knees touching the opposite wall). The bathroom was much smaller than it appears on the photos. My last gripe was the cash-only policy, although it is my fault I didn’t notice it while booking I don’t understand the policy when cards are accepted almost everywhere in CR.

Dorm was too cramped and way too many people in a small space. lockers right next to bed so very loud when people are in and out and your trying to sleep. only one shower and one toilet together between 8 people which proved a problem a few times. I needed to use restrooms in the restaurant next door when I was dying for a wee!

Very helpful reception lady! Very close to the beach and restaurants! Clean.

We liked the relaxed and quiet atmosphere (maybe we were just lucky with the other guests that stayed at the same time), the terrace with the hammocks and a well equipped shared kitchen. Right in the center of Samara, walking distance to the beach.

Very small room and really tiny bathroom with cold water only. Regarding this, the price of the location is…well…this is Costa Rica.

Kitchen was so full of stuff it was hard to use. Too many beds crammed into the dorm. My top bunk was under a concrete ceiling joist so was claustrophobic and the ladder was against the lockers so actually difficult to get in and out. Only 1 bathroom per dorm IN the dorm is terrible

it was literally in the center of Sámara! You could walk to everything: Beach, surfing school, restaurants, bars, ice cream, grocery stores, party, and even the doctor’s office! It has a communal kitchen complete with refrigerator and coffee stations so you can easily prepare simple meals. The kitchen is equipped to handle full family meals.

I don’t have any complaints.

Nadia was fantastic, she was very friendly. The dorms are clean and beds are comfy. Nice shower pressure. Lots of space to hangout in the common area.

it had everything I needed, it was clean, simple, the personal helped me with everything including the kinda complicated bus transportation 🫶 it is more a quiet place
