This is a lovely guest house near the historic area of Arles. Our room was large and modern with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning and a good shower. Nathalie is a fantastic host. She was friendly and helpful and she served us a fabulous breakfast. She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants. So glad we stayed there.

Maison Douce is perfectly located for exploring Arles, the city’s main attractions can all be easily visited on foot. The bed was very comfortable.
Being right in the centre of a city one expects noise. There is good double glazing in the windows and we were on the top floor but this wasn’t enough to block out the sound and give us a good night’s sleep during our3 night stay. There is an Irish pub a few doors away.

Absolutely a fabulous location. I much prefer the Boulevard than old town - so many local restaurants and cafes. The beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of pillows and the sheets were soft. Wifi was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. The owner served a wide assortment of local breads, cheeses, honey, fresh fruit, etc. The owner was very accommodating and we enjoyed the house dog. This property is a lovely Bed and Breakfast.
Booking lists TV's in rooms and ours had none. The property cannot be accessed between the hours of 1p - 4p when trying to check in. Arrive in Arles accordingly. That being said, I will definitely return to this property next time I am in Arles.

The property is in a perfect location, at the edge of the old city, surrounded by shops and restaurants and ten minutes from the new Frank Gehry complex. I would call it a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. it feels like you’re staying in someone’s home and the breakfast is wonderful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable as well as quiet, even though it faced a main street. The owner, Nathalie, takes very good care of her guests. Her rescue dog Jimi was a welcome addition, with the sweetest disposition. Highly recommend. Please note that a lot of restaurants and museums are closed at somewhat odd times: Mondays we’re used to, but Mondays AND Tuesdays?
Nothing. it was great

Very helpful staff, clean, lovely and fully refurbished old villa, right outside the city center. Very convenient for parking: there are a couple of private spaces inside the villa backyard or public spaces right outside. Very easy to reach by car.
Rooms dimensions vary depending on what you book, but they are all very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is super, lots of local, salty and sweet options.
Beware of the doggo, he's super cute and loves ears rubs, don't be afraid if he barks when you enter the premises, he's very friendly.
Many options for food, even late at night (for French standard) within walking distance.
Nothing really, just be aware of the entrance to the parking is on a backroad and may require some manoeuvres, nothing problematic if you're used to driving in Europe.

Beautifully decorated maison. We had a room at the ground floor, with a very comfortable bed and nice little bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely one of our best booking experiences.

This was such a lovely place to stay, we didn’t want to leave. Our room was very comfortable with air conditioning, and really quiet, the old building an oasis of calm shutting out the sounds of the road. From the doorstep you can walk straight into the stunning old town of Arles, with its amphitheatre. Our host was delightful, and served a delicious breakfast made with local foods on the veranda in the morning.

This guesthouse is more like a B&B than a hotel. It's location is superb (but not super quiet), the owner is very accessible and knowledgeable about the town and the area, and the breakfasts were phenomenal, featuring locally made jams and other goodies. The yogurt was the best! Arles has a lot of history and is a great jumping off point to visit other towns in the area. The parking spot worked well and the room's A/C was fantastic, very appreciated after a hot day of walking around outdoors.
This is a very large house converted into an Inn, so guests with mobility problems might have to go slowly up the staircase for the rooms on the second or third floors. A small refrigerator in the room or access to a common refrigerator would have been a plus.

Great location, everything is walking distance. Sylvie was very friendly and gave us some good restaurant recommendations. Even though you are next to a big parking lot, it’s very quiet at night.
