We were arriving by car and arranged to meet Jeremy outside the property at a specific time. As we were early, we drove to the address and found it to be up a small street in a “rundown area” parlance for Old City, behind a large gate. We were obviously very anxious about what we had booked. When we arrived to meet Jeremy who was on time, we were delighted with what was behind the gate = a little gem. It was one of the best apartments which we had rented through Booking.com. Not only that, it was only minutes from everything, shops, restaurants, parking etc. Whilst small, it was tastefully decorated, fully kitted out, very homely and comfortable and also had satellite TV. Jeremy is a very friendly owner. He waited us just ouside the venue and also explained the facilities of the lovely apartment for us. The location is super too. We will definitely recommend this apartment to our friends.

The host Jeremy responded very promptly to messages before arrival, met us there on arrival and showed us the property. In our experience not all hosts do that, and we really appreciated it. The location is outstanding (from the station main entrance on the south side, you can walk straight down Rue Jeanne d'Arc and turn right as soon as you pass the Museum of Fine Arts): it is also very close to cathedrals, the Gros Horloge and the river. The street and surrounding district are very nice - pleasant, with plenty of half-timbered houses. The property itself is accessed through a courtyard and is very quiet.

The only drawback should be clear from the pictures: it is small. There is not much kitchen workspace, and no draining board for dishes. We found the induction hob hard to use. An extra fan would help in hot weather - there was one, which was very good, but we had to keep moving it upstairs and down again. But all of this was more than compensated by the excellent location and helpful host.

Jeremy met us on arrival. He was very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. It was an ideal place for the two of us to stay. Clean, comfortable and all that we needed. It’s in the heart of historic Rouen and close to good cafés and restaurants. It’s only a ten minute walk from the station. There’s an Intermarché around the corner and great boulangeries nearby.

The bathroom and bedroom are only separated by a glass wall that you can see through. the hot water tank is enough to fill the bathtub. after that it is no longer possible to shower.

Nice and fully equiped appartment, perfect position near city center, nice and stylish furniter, perfect communication with Jeremy...

Jeremy arrived at the house on time at the agreed meeting time. Very clean and cosy. Located in the yard, very quiet considered only a few minutes away from the centre. The house is as shown in the pictures. Location is great, can't get any better, a few mins walk away from the centre. Bed was comfy

Hot water will run out if you have a few people shower at the same time

We couldn't check-in at the appartments, because our flight was delayed and we were late for just an hour. The host refused to hold on at all.
