The location was perfect, 1 minute from a bus that takes you to lugano center or ten minutes from the train station. Giuvana the host was SO nice and helpful. She explained us everything about averything. And even when we went for a day trip to Milan she gave us her umbrella just in case. I really recommend this place if you are planning to be around lugano because the price is fair, the room is big and the location is perfect.

The hotel owner is very friendly and kind- she provides a lot of suggestions and guidance on where to go, how to get to places etc. Which was very helpful. The location of the hotel is great-only about 20min by bus from the center of Lugano and transportation all throughout Ticino is free thanks to the Ticino pass you can get for free at the hotel. The breakfast is great with homemade jam, eggs, toast, juice, coffee qnd cereal. The room is very cozy and clean. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ticino as you get a lot more than what you pay for.

The owner of the hotel is fantastic. Very friendly, happy to point to local highlights and about how to best enjoy the area. On arrival we were provided with a large number of prospectuses with useful information and we made great use of the hiking and swimming locations she pointed out. The breakfast provided is fantastic in size and quality. We will come here again!

The owner is a very nice lady, she is very friendly and very helpful.
She even voluntarily gave us a discount for the fact that I was there with my 10 yrs old boy allthough Booking.com did not offer a child discount while booking.
Parking was right in front of the entrance which was very comfortable.

The facility is on a road which is not extremely frequented but due to being at a slope, the engines make quite some noise when driving uphill. As I am very sensitive to noise and as our room was facing the street, I couldn't sleep with windows open. My solution was to close the windows and instead leave the door to the hallway open. Next time I would rather sacrifice on the nice view from the balcony at the front-side of the building and get me a room from the backside.

We stayed here for a weekend. You get what you see on the photos: a bit old school, but definitely clean which is what counts. It’s located outside Lugano, but very well connected by bus and train both to Lugano, Paradiso as well as other directions / locations. The host is super nice and provided us with these public transport cards that allow you to use bus & trains for free in Ticino. Since we arrived by car we appreciated that the parking in front of the hotel was free of charge. Breakfast included boiled eggs, cold ham & cheese, bread & jam, (milk) coffee + orange juice. In short, I can highly recommend this place.
FYI: during our stay no dinner was served so one had to order something or walk to one of the restaurants near by. The food could be eaten (and heated up) in the breakfast room.

Not everyone will like the fact that there are no TV's in the room but I loved it.
Traffic from the street, but oh well, very minor distraction for me.
