Stayed in the little cabin just next to the hotel which was ideal. Spacious for surfboards, mini patio for drying wetsuits and sitting. Free parking which is a bonus. 30 seconds walk to the beach!

Room was fine, a little small. 2 bottles of water provided in room. Good location on sea front. Good value breakfast. Garage to store bikes.

Stairs to room a bit grotty. Environment at back in need of upgrade. Reception closed when we arrived, having called to say they close at 6 this time of year.

Grumpy staff. Very poor old room and even worse corridors and access. Hard old bed. Shower room falling apart and completely floods when used. Noisy town (not hotels fault)

Breakfast was perfect for me...simple and good. The value for the location at that price was exceptional. Room 17 was great. Food on-site was as well. I liked the quirkiness. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice. They stored my luggage several hours the day I checked out. The staff were as helpful as they could be. Good a/c

The room could use new paint in the bathroom,more cleaning around the a/c, sliding door didn't seem to lock...the hotel itself just begs for some TLC. Sprucing up, clutter cleaning, a better entrance to the rooms.

Great location. Across the street from the beach. Fantastic view (for ocean facing rooms) amazing sunset over Atlantic from room. Cleaned the room every day, fresh linnen, complementary water.

Room rather small, but acceptable. Hotel very run down. Bathroom was dirty, mold between tiles, horrible light, light socket dangling from the wall, toilet in a corner (no leg room), when you showered you got the whole bathroom wet, but the worst was that there was no hot water - luke warm on the best day.

a bit strange reception area and back rooms leading to the hotel bedrooms, communal area’s were in need of updating and the rooms would benefit from a fresh coat of paint

location was good and we could park our car there.

there was a lot of sand on the floor in the room when we arrived - it wasn’t clean when we arrived. in de bathroom there were many places that were a bit moldy or where the paint came off the wall.

Location, parking excellent. Food. I had the Salade Cesar. What a plate full. Really great taste & all healthy. Staff helpful & friendly.

Not really a let down but the hotel itself is disconnected at the back. Lavanau is popular with young surfers and this is not really a draw back.

Excellent position across the road from beach. Dining great, staff great. Walk to everything. Rooms were clean.

Accommodation is tired, the building is old and rooms are small.
