We had a really great time at Le Maquis Plage. The family-run accommodation is beautifully laid out, very, very green, a fantastic pool, next to the beach and a delicious restaurant. The owners are super friendly, always helpful, Philippe, the owner even drove us to the nearest train station as there are few taxis, absolutely friendly. I absolutely recommend the accommodation.

We liked everything, that's not a criticism, I just want to mention it: the places on the east coast of Corsica (except Bastia) are rather small, and a bit isolated, but super authentic. It’s good to have your own car to see more frome the island, as bus and train are not so easy to reach. Another point, which is not so important, is that there is no or hardly any wifi in the bungalows and mobile homes. At the pool and in the restaurant the reception is great, best of all you can download everything there (series, Netflix, Prime ...).

except neighbour village with party every evening (but could not hear it inside) it was a perfectly quiet and nice place. houses are standing a bit from each other with a lot of green and trees inbetween. nice neighbours, which you dont hear. pool is really good, closing time at 18.30 is a bit early - but understandable as the restaurant is exactly beside. houses are not with enormous space, but ok, nearly everything you need is there. huge fridge with cold water function, 2 toilets. we really enjoyed the stay there.

not much to critisize...

The little huts were really nice and calm, situated next to the sea. It*s not a luxusy resort but has got everything one needs and a very relaxing atmoshere. Much wood in and outside. The pool is great, made of natural stone and wood. The deckchairs also are made out of wood not of cheap plastic. - A place to come back.

The internet is really low or down.

amazingly nice location, Felipe the host and his family are very nice, warm and helpful people. Pool is very good as well!

The chairs outside are not very comfortable

Location. It is in a perfect spot to discover the north side of the island. The beach in front is ok but for some real beauties one should go on the north west side.

Owners. We reserved two cottages for two families. One of the families had to cancel their trip due to a serious illness of their father/grandfather. The owners charged full amount probably including some city tax even though our friends were not able to come. The cottage was dark and mouldy. It needed a serious update. We were charged 50 EUR extra for sheets and towels that were clearly worn out with holes in them.
