We have stayed at this VRBO a few times and hope to return again. We like the location - close to town as well as access to trailheads. Always fresh and clean. All of your kitchen needs are available which is extremely helpful. Love the morning and evening views of the mountains!!

Amazingly quiet and peaceful in a wonderful neighborhood. Hosts were super nice. We were out and about a lot but Ron and Karen were there if we needed them. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this location.

I am a very seasoned traveler. I have traveled all over the world and stayed at literally thousands of hotels and motels. I have come to enjoy convenience and accommodations while I am traveling. I did not receive such service on this stay. Also I have been coming to Bishop for fall fishing for the last 10 years with my son. I was hoping we had found a good place to stay. Pros of Stay Dining Room and Kitchen had all the amenities you could want Place was very clean Nice Fireplace Convenient Location Cons Of Stay This a rental for younger people or people who don't mind a lack of privacy There is a door connecting the rental to the main house and you can hear the rental family talking, and hear their dogs barking. So much so you have to turn up the TV to keep from hearing them Also this access door is located near the bathroom, which allows people to hear you doing your business The rental is above the garage, so the place vibrates when the home owners open and close the garage You have to go up a steep flight of stairs to reach the main bedroom and kitchen dining area, which I know it states this in the advertisement But what I didn't see or read is that the bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs! You have to go up and down the stairs every time you have to use the bathroom Good Luck in the middle of the night, because the stairs are fairly steep. This got old really fast The parking was really horrible. The owner allowed us to use one slot of their drive way, but I declined to use it. You had to blindly back up near a ditch with a mound of dirt. I am a very good driver but declined to do this maneuver. I had to park near a trailer along the fence. I am really glad I didn't bring my pickup. The beds were really hard. My son declined to sleep on his bed in the living room and opted to sleep on the sofa. Luckily we brought an air mattress with us. The property owners also water their lawn during the day and unfortunately we came home during the watering and I had to dodge the sprinkler spray trying to get to the rental door. As I mentioned in the beginning that this location is for a more younger group who don't want or need convenience and privacy is not a concern Spend the time looking over the property description because what I saw and read didn't match reality After this experience this will be my last VRBO stay

Totally enjoyed our stay here... beautiful view of the Sierras and loved the sound of the creek which runs through the backyard. We got our exercise with the stairs, but maybe that is a good thing! 😁 Thanks Ron and Karen!

Perfect for our trip. Great location - close to town and easy access to area trail heads. Wonderful views of the mountains and the relaxing sound of the stream running through the back yard! Appreciated that kitchen was equipped with all the conveniences of home as we chose to eat in most evenings. Looking forward to a return visit.

Great views of the mountains which you can't really appreciate from the photos. Every thing else was great.

We were so very happy here. It was so peaceful and very roomy. We particularly loved how our place was so separate from the main house. The view from the living/dining area was amazing and it was incredibly well supplied. We highly recommend staying there and would definitely stay again.

Very easy process, nice people

Home was very comfy and setting was wonderful. Listening to Bishop Creek at night was awesome. Location was great. Easy walk to downtown. We will be back.

Comfortable, clean, well-maintained, great location, great views: the listing and other reviews are accurate. If this sounds like the place for you, then it is. Ron and Karen were kind, helpful, and engaging when we needed them; otherwise, they were unobtrusive. The stairs to the bathroom were fine for us -- ages 60 -75. The kitchen was great for cooking. Dining table with view of the Sierras was stunning as promised. Bed was comfy. The air mattress in living room did not take up the whole room, so there is still plenty of space for living! (The air mattress, like many air mattresses, was a little noisy when you moved on it, but otherwise was fine). The only other possible improvement would be more accessible night tables in the bedroom and a dresser with drawers in the bedroom. But there is plenty of space for luggage to open and a big closet. Would definitely stay here again!

Priceless view, beautiful clean space and everything one could need, including ice maker. Ron is wonderful host! But, For us in our mid 70s it was too many stairs up and down between living and bedroom and multiple trips down to bathroom at night. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch that in ad.

This place is like heaven- really nice, clean, and well- equipped unit in town in Bishop, with gorgeous views! The owners are really helpful and friendly, but the unit is private. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Ton and Karen!

Ron was beyond accommodating on our stay. We had a great time in the Bishop area and Ron's place exceeded our expectations!

This guesthouse is in the perfect location to explore Bishop and surrounding areas. The location is close enough to downtown that you can walk to many of the restaurants. But it's also far enough away from downtown so that you don't hear the usual city noise. The views from the kitchen, dining and living areas are stunning, at all times of the day. The kitchen is very well stocked, probably one of the best we’ve seen in a HomeAway rental. The bed had nice linens and a comfortable queen size bed. The balcony is perfect for star gazing at night. We highly recommend staying in this guesthouse over any hotel in town.

Second time staying here and it was a perfect location for us. We walked to the fairgrounds daily for my sons CHSRA State Finals. Very accommodating host. Definitely will come back.
