Very good location, beautiful nature.

We enjoyed our stay with a beautiful beach view and greenery around the stay. The staff were attentive and friendly.

it wasn’t as expected based on the booking.com advertisement. staff were a bit rude on arrival on getting payment when it was their card machine that wasn’t working. room wasn’t cleaned once in 4 days

Location. You have to walk by the smelly road and no access for cars to the location. It is like 1* property. We booked for 2 nights, but checked out next day only.

very good new houses, owner very friendly was come to talk when i was in balcony, nice place to stay.

forget to advise owner, to put daylight curtains, that you could walk in room from shower and nobody could see, because stay in room with closed curtains not very nice when you can’t see all beauty outside and need put mesh on bathroom vent window from outside to keep mosquitoes away.

Staff was friendly including the manager. The mosquito net around the bed was very good. There was a water kettle and coffee and tea in the room and free water refill outside. For Indian standards it was quite clean, but indoor and outdoor it could still be better.

In between the big rocks on and next to the property was very sadly quite some rubbish and trash. There is music and/or live music every night and noise and music from surrounding clubs (especially during the weekend) and it’s not quiet till midnight or even later.

We chose Ourem Palace in Palolem beach after looking at many other places for our week long stay. It’s location at the southern end of the beach is set among large boulders on the beach with the bungalows running up the side of the only hill in Palolem. We had a nice garden setting with a small lawn where we could sit in privacy enjoying the the shade of the trees . The room was comfortable and clean, plenty of hot water and a coffee maker which was well used . Being on a hillside facing the sea, we had a refreshing breeze so we didn’t need to use our A/C very often. The staff are friendly and helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. But what really sets Ourem Palace apart is the owner, Rohan. From the moment we arrived, he went out of his way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. There is live music every night in the restaurant with some very good musicians. The food is well prepared and the service friendly.

There’s no housekeeping system available. There’s no proper way to reach out to the housekeeping team(no intercom etc.) directly from your room. Room service is non-existent, There’s a bar in the property which open only at 7pm. The payment for the entire stay is required to be made at the start of your stay. No invoice is provided by Hotel at the end of stay also even though they charge a GST as per norm. Also, they don’t accept AMEX here which i only came to know after arriving. Check-in is the only point when you get to talk to the Hotel team. The complimentary water bottles are provided only the day you check-in to the property, and post that one has to get their bottles refilled from dispensers positioned outside in open. I have paid around 10K per night for my stay and feel that i got robbed. The bedsheets and towels had stains, there were large red ants in room, cockroaches and a small frog in the bathroom. I chose this stay based on user reviews of proximity to beach but once I reached the beach I saw several better options right on the beach, they are having great restaurants as well. To avoid staying in the hotel we spend most of our time in the Palolem beach itself, which luckily is one of the best in Goa.

He treats people so badly that you would not want to even speak with him. Worst host I have ever encountered. That ruins everything for you and your family. This was all right there in previous negative reviews, but I overlooked them thinking how bad can one person be, i was wrong. Answer as it turns out, a bad host can ruin your entire trip. Don't make the same mistake that I did. That said palolem is an awesome place with really good places to visit. Just skip past this one and as soon as you enter the beach you will find amazing shacks facing the sea. We are at a place called big fish, run by a person named Santosh. Loved the place and the people out there.

The property location, the cottages

No breakfast facility at property as the property doesn't have its own restaurant. Cleanliness in room was not upto the mark. The toiletries mentioned at the time of booking doesn't match as mentioned on the app
