The hosts very rude

Property has everything you need, is spotlessly clean and really spacious for two families. convenient location with everything you need nearby and most of the places in Cornwall took around 30 minutes drive to visit. Will definitely be back.

Overall good

Sofa. Did not leave any black bin bag for rubbish.

The Hot Tub, was in it every day for the week. The LED mood lighting.

My dad couldn't find a big cheese grater 😄 Water pressure in the very top shower.

Size, comfortable and clean.

Noisy boiler. Fridge stopped working. Unkempt garden, brambles over hanging the pavement. Obvious that the grass hadn’t been cut. Not enough towels for guests staying. No oven gloves and limited crockery and glasses/mugs,therefore the dishwasher wasn’t used as we wouldn’t have any crockery to use. We expected more attention to detail for the price we paid.

The property is spacious, over 3 floors with two en suites and plenty of toilets. The induction hob and dishwasher were convenient as well as a bench dining table. Very sociable. We enjoyed using the clean hot tub which was perfectly warm. The property has a Tassimo coffee machine. I had enquired days in advance of our stay to find out what coffee machine is used (being long distance drivers, this is crucial) so I could prepare correct pods accordingly. Since a response from the owners were missed on this and I called them, they resolved this by buying and delivering pods and a cafetière during the first evening of our stay. That was very wonderful. I had brought along ground coffee and assumed there would be a cafetière. There is teabags and sugar provided. Also they delivered wine glasses as having these in the property was expected for a vacation. The property is conveniently located near to supermarkets and a town centre. This is why we chose the place as a good place for going around Cornwall for day trips by car. The location is quiet which is ideal. The new build is warm and pretty modern. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it. The price point could be a little on the steep side for some groups, however you’d be pretty happy with the facilities. The property is very large and spacious. I had questions to ask the owners on Booking.com app before we arrived, and noticed they reply approx 1x per day during the morning.

The living room has quite a dated look due to very old fashioned sofas. We didn’t love the living room much for this reason, it didn’t look as inviting as the large kitchen with garden view.

Upstairs bedroom not usable due to dust on bed coverings Prior to stay hosts asked for a further £ 250 for use of hot tub for our 3 night stay Therefore we did not use the hot tub. We were not aware of this when booking Bird poo on windows in kitchen and garden furniture

When we booked we asked for our check-in time to be 3 pm and this was confirmed by Booking.com. The day before we were due to arrive, I text the host to ask for the check-in information, and she tried to change the check-in time to 5 pm. I had to contact Booking.com to intervene, and she finally relented and said we could check in at 3 pm. The host confirmed that she would give me the code at 3 pm, but this did not come through until 3.15, which meant that after a 5-hour drive, we had to wait outside for an email before collecting the keys. This was absolutely unnecessary, as the neighbour told us the house had been empty for months. Upon booking, we were charged £50 for the use of the hot tub. A day or so later, the host tried to increase this to £100. When I complained to Booking.com that she had doubled the charge, they agreed to cover the cost. Despite this, when we arrived, the hot tub was not particularly clean, the water was lukewarm, half of the jets did not work, and the speakers were inaudible. The host refused to address our complaint or acknowledge the problem. The towels provided were too small. They were described as bath towels but just about went around my 11-year-old son. Again the host refused to address this complaint.
