Room was reasonably clean and the bathroom was surprisingly clean considering four people were using it.

Check-in was difficult, they are not really set up for late/last minute bookings, some of the information on how to check in was emailed one hour after I was trying to check. I never received a wi-fi code even though i repeatedly asked and when they did send something two days later it was wrong. There was no ironing board in room, a fire alarm was beeping at regular intervals (apprx every 2 minutes) and although i reported it via text, their website and email they never resolved the issue or responded to me Parking outside the property on the road, but only if the other residents on the street have not used it all up the key safe outside could do with some lighting above it if you are arriving late at night. There is a reason why they don't show you pictures of the exterior of the property and not sure what rooms they were showing but the pictures bear little resemblance to the parts of the property I saw, I assume they are form other properties they rent out.

I liked the cleanliness, tranquility and warm welcoming I received from the staff of Townhouse at very busy time of Christmas and unprecedented times of Covid 19, nothing deterred them from delivering excellent services of ensuring that my place was always clean and safe. I travelled for work and it was the best place to have a good rest with no disturbances of noise or any issues of social distancing with other guests, my room was excellent for privacy and good security.

There is nothing that I didn't like about staying at Townhouse at all, everything about the accommodation was excellent and more than what I expected for such a good price of £60 for 2 nights, good value for money. Want to stay in a clean and welcoming place for an affordable price, then this is your bet, would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen

The over grown garden. The ceiling was leaking and we called and we couldn’t get a suitable response in time. The toilets made noise through out the house. This was really bad no one could sleep because of the toilet noise
