Pleasant staff and wonderful bay view

Parking is not cheap in Saint Valery. This is in no way the fault of the hotel. Staff were helpful with finding places.

Beautiful view of the bay, clean comfortable room and we were given a free upgrade. Good facilities, mini bar, tea and coffee in room. Very helpful pleasant staff. We will come again and give the restaurant a try too.

Pillows very uncomfortable. The bed had a winter duvet when 20%+ outside couldn’t have the window open due to the seagulls squawking all night. Breakfast lacked choice. Difficult to park & expensive

The location superb and it has a very arty, quirky decor. The room was small although ensuite large. The breakfast was excellent overlooking the Somme estuary.

The room could have been larger and shower over bath not too easy to access.

Breakfast was very expensive (14euros) with just croissants, bread,ham and hot drinks.

The property lied saying that there is parking at the proporty and this was not accurate.The parking was 20 min away from hotel, not ideal when travelling.

The room was very nice, very clean and the view amazing. Staff is really nice and you feel welcome.

The staff

The room. Horrible dark, so so small, broken light, broken socket. The unbearable heating. Peeling wall paper. Lack of information in the room. Shocking tea/ coffee facilities. No WiFi. Window in shower/ bathroom facing the bed?! (I’m not a prude but I don’t think it’s necessary for my room mate to watch me using the toilet or take a shower.) Incredibly over priced and a very very disappointing stay for a birthday and anniversary celebration.

Friendly staff, very pleasantly and tastefully decorated room with a large comfortable shower and good amenities. The view out of the window facing the estuary was excellent, especially in the morning with birds gathering and the sun rising.

Parking is only ~200 meters from the hotel. The walkway between hotel and estuary has bright lights, which are on during the whole night. They light up the room a bit (there are curtains).

Nice views from the room. The room itself is in a retrostyle which is a nice change to the regular hotel rooms. The hotel is centrally located in the village.

It was incredibly hot in the room. The room needs airconditioning as it is almost impossible to open up the windows due to the noise from trafic on the street. Also, the bathroom needs a good check as the shower tap isn't working properly and the water floods the bathroom.
