A really great holiday house for a family gathering. The views, pool, hot tub all amazing. Everything you could need is there in the house. Well equipped kitchen. A few aspects need some TLC but overall the property is spacious, comfortable and in a beautiful location.

We had a large family get together, all traveling from various parts of the country, which was why we picked this one. The house is a brilliant size, plenty of room for us all and very comfortable. The views were amazing and we all felt really at home there. Will definitely go back for a return visit.

Great property for a big family, we had a great stay!

Good communication with Lorna. There were issues with the wifi when we first arrived due to storms. However Lorna kept us updated and quickly sorted the issue. House was clean and well equipped and had a lovely homely feel about it. We had 3 dogs with us and the grounds were secure and walks from the door step. Pool was great we used it every day.

This house was so ideal for the hen do weekend we had planned. We had a group of 10 females stay, so two to a room worked out perfectly. The facilities were really good and well kept. After reading a couple of the reviews around Christmas time we were concerned that the pool would maybe be too cold and that there was a lack of fridge and freezer space however this was not the case, everything was perfect and helped towards a fabulous weekend with friends. Would recommend and consider going back again.

Clean, wonderfully located - out in the countryside but near to nottingham, great local walks. Lovely host who had everything prepared for our weekend away. Thank you so much for a great weekend.

We had a lovely time at the property & it was large enough for 12 of us to fit in comfortably. Location was near loads of activities for the kids (by car) & the hosts Neigbour (assistant) was very attentive throughout our stay. The Christmas decorations & tree were a lovely touch too. Only negative feedback was that some things didn’t work as expected: hot tub mechanics (not sure if on timer) , chorine levels in pool were very high, not all ovens worked. Having said this we worked round it & still had a lovely break away & would recommend to others. Thanks

Dear Louise The family and I enjoyed our stay at your house this Christmas we certainly created lots of memories. The following should be seen as constructive feedback which would have put the icing on the cake for us. Prior to setting off we rang Lorna as requested an hour before arrival. We appreciate it was Christmas Eve but a proper handover of the property would have really saved both parties time. The instruction manual stated that the instructions on how to use the ovens and hob were nearby, but we didn’t see anything. It was gone .7pm by the time L arrived at the house to show us how to use the appliances . Only one of the oven worked, which took forever to cook family meals for the duration. One oven for that size of a home is inadequate. The fridge is not working to it’s capacity and too small for a family home of that size. Beef had gone off and brown as it wasn’t cold enough. We did use the outdoor cool area but a functioning fridge is a must . The pool was not heated and had too much Chlorine it was overbearing as we could smell it strongly in the house. We were disappointed the the pool wasn’t heated as advertised as that is why we picked the property. Your neighbour came to look at it very late on Christmas Eve as we had to call again as the front door would not lock. He resolved that immediately as he removed a long strip on the inner door frame which believed me to think that this must have append before. Again if we hand a handover on arrival we would have known that. The towels and bedding could do with replacing with new for old as they are showing their age. A few of us were disappointed as some of the bedding was not freshly cleaned for us as new family. Overall the property could do with a deep clean. The security and location of the property are easily accessible, although we’d stop again in winter , we wouldn’t entertain the summer as the fridge is too small. Good time had by young and old, the pool a great asset and plenty to do in the surrounding area

All 4 generations had a lovely week break here! The pool was enjoyed by all, the place is plenty big enough for 10 people. My only criticism is the place could do with a deep clean but other than that a lovely house in a great location!

Great location and host

11 of us stayed here for my hen party weekend and as soon as we pulled up to the house we knew it was going to be amazing. Everything about this property has been beautifully done, the pool and hot tub were amazing and clean and turned into the focal point of out stay. All 5 bedrooms were beautiful, especially loved the master suite, and the room with the round bed. This property has everything you need for a fun and relaxing holiday. The house does sleep 10 in 5 double beds plus a large comfortable air bed for 2 more guests. The owner Lauren was really helpful, and Lorna who was our point of contact during our stay was really helpful when we needed her to. Overall a fantastic house and trip. Would definitely stay here again.

All we could ask for pool was great

Party of 9 - 3 adults and 6 children, had an absolutely wonderful time. The basics covered: Internet (a must for teenagers), bedlinen, towels (more than we needed), brilliant bathrooms, TV's all over (didn't get used), comfortable beds, an excellent modern kitchen with all you'd want, being late October - nice and warm, spacious, piano (did get used - could do with tuning :-) The bonus: wonderful clean pool - got fairly used each morning and evening, hot-tub with excellent views, brilliant view to take up to each morning, safe, peaceful and didn't get bothered by anything or anyone, nice walks all around, great little village with two pubs (10min walk) and food was excellent in both, post office/shop open till 9pm with a great selection of groceries (as well as wine). Overall - couldn't have asked for more. Our 6 year old didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be back again. Thanks for fitting us in at the very last minute. Kindest regards, Bekim and family
