The grandchildren walked in and said “wow” Lovely apartment in the old town. Facilities were excellent. Nice shower with lots of hot water. We didn’t want to leave.

The location was on a quiet plaza in the Ciutat Vell. It was quite centrally located-- we found good coffee, dining and drinks within a 5-minute's walk. The flat itself was comfortable, the sitting room and main bedroom bright and spacious, and the kitchen had a good selection of dishes, pots and utensils. There was a glitch with the heating during our stay and David, our host, came and fixed it quickly. Also, the directions to the flat, and the instructions for collecting the keys, were very explicit and trouble-free, despite Girona having some twisty streets in the Old Town.

The back rooms get natural light from a light well, but were still a bit dark during the day. There's not much that can be done about that, since that's just the design of the flat. But everything else was as good as it could get.
