Cozy 2 Bed 2 Bath waterfront cottage on beautiful High Rock Lake- fully updated
Cette maison sur 2 niveaux bien entretenue a beaucoup d'espace de vie et est entièrement meublée pour une escapade relaxante. Le pont arrière surdimensionné à 3 niveaux est entièrement meublé avec une table sectionnelle et salle à manger extérieure et mène à un quai flottant avec 50 'de front de mer. La cour arrière est entièrement clôturée, de sorte que les chiots peuvent courir pendant que vous vous asseyez et profitez du lac.
La cuisine est lumineuse avec un réfrigérateur moderne en acier inoxydable, une cuisinière, un lave-vaisselle et un micro-ondes intégré. We really liked this house-everything about it was comfortable and family friendly. I was pleased to have enough towels and washcloths. The deck, grill, long table, lights were so nice. We called the boat rental provided in the book and rented a pontoon on Sunday. The basket of goodies was a nice touch and came in handy.

Lexington is a diamond in the rough and this place is the jewel! lovely home, great layout and design. the back yard is perfect for relaxing with views of the lake and plenty to do. Love the use of the kayaks. I highly recommend this place!

This is our favorite VRBO we have ever stayed at!! We are a family of 5 with two dogs and this house checked all of the boxes for everyone. A perfect stay with zero complaints ☺️

We had an amazing time and this spot on the lake didn't have as much boat traffic as other spots we've stayed which was nice. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and the host were extremely hospitable.

This home on a quiet lovely cove on High Rock is a dream come true.
It’s even more beautiful inside and out than what you view online.
All the amenities you want and need are there. Well stocked, clean, modern appliances, spacious living area, extremely comfortable beds.
We had my husband and myself, our 2 daughters and their husbands who brought their dogs. The property is fenced in so the doggo’s could run and play! They loved the water.
2 kayaks and other water goodies easily found on the bottom deck. There is a cool floating dock.
The neighbors next door (year rounders) were a delight and so friendly.
In another review posted a year or so ago someone made a comment about their “big dogs” but they are not big. They are sweet. Sure…they are there and they do bark( as dogs will do) But they are friendly! They just have “a lot to say” Our dogs loved them.
Beth the owner is the best. Very generous and accommodating! We think the world of jet.
When we arrived there was a basket of goodies waiting for us!
We will definitely be returning.

This property was exactly as represented and was very clean. Amenities were nice and waterfront was great. The only issue was it was a little farther out than it seemed it would be and there were lots of terrifying large dogs on both sides of the home. They were usually in a fence (but could jump it) near the home entrance and with little lapdogs, it was a bit stressful. We also recieved a notice on the day before check in, to not walk through the neighborhood or have our dogs out front due to unfriendly dogs running loose in the neighborhood. Other than that an a little low water pressure this property was GREAT! The master with the attached bathroom was wonderful for taking a breather from my adult kids and the two full size loft beds made it easy to have a couple visitors that were only there for a night. The kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked well!

Super cute and modern canal frontage cottage. Has everything you could possibly need. My family relax on the three decks facing the canal listening to the birds and wind blowing through the oak trees. Has everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
Kitchen offered full size refrigerator, full size cooking range, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include showers.
Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. We were very comfortable in this beautiful cottage. The neighbors were extremely friendly. We loved our stay building family holiday memories.

Cute and Cozy home! There was a gift basic that was a true surprise and something for all of us to enjoy. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the loft beds/nooks. Well kept and clean! Even though it was chilly on our stay we really enjoyed it! We hope to return in the spring or summer.

My family and I had a great time staying in this adorable spot on the lake. The scenery is especially beautiful in October with all the leaves changing. Our hosts were also extremely accommodating and friendly. 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful fall stay at this lovely Little Lake home. The small spaces were very well used, the decor was warm and inviting, and so many windows and places to hang out and chill inside and out!
It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Though a little chilly for swimming, we managed to get out in the kayaks a couple of times, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
And one more great thing, some places that are pet friendly aren’t secured well on the entire grounds, but the entire grounds of this home was fenced, and so my pup could run around anywhere and wherever she wanted! We will definitely be back!

The house was just as described. Had an amazing family getaway. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and I enjoyed being able to take my boat and tie up at the property. Overall was an awesome weekend

Our family enjoyed this lake house. It was neat, clean and odor free with ceiling fans and central air system! Everything well thought out and provided for, inside and out including kitchen, for hassle free stay! Nice quiet cove on the lake to enjoy the beginning of fall/cooler weather outside,with great decks, fire pit and kayaks. Excellent communication with hosts! Would stay again it was great!

This was our second time at this property and it was another wonderful time. It’s nice and quiet with a great location right on the water. We loved kayaking and enjoying the deck to lounge. The owners have great communication and you can tell they put a lot of thought and care into this place. Loved it!

Enjoyable stay
We used this as a home base to visit family but there was a lot to do here. 100+ movies available, kayaks off the dock, a nice fire pit and barbeque.
I enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning. Kitchen had a nice setup for food prep. All the pots, pans, and cooking tools we needed were readily available.
The place stayed very cool. Nice ceiling fans upstairs.
Hosts stayed in contact and got back to us quickly if we had any questions.
Our first vrbo. Great experience.

Gorgeous Property in a Relaxing Setting
We loved this house, it was exactly the kind of place we were looking for. The entire place was so pristine and gorgeously decorated, and the bedding was some of the most comfortable we've slept in! There was plenty of cookware, everything you need to make a meal. We loved the goody basket waiting for us on the counter! The deck was really spacious, we spent as much time out there that the weather would allow. There were four of us adults and the amount of space was just right.
Beth was so great at answering my questions and working with us. Our dog misbehaved, and she was so understanding and made it easy for us to make things right. Our dog loved the fenced yard and the made "puppy friends" with the neighbor dogs. :)
If we are ever back in that area, we will definitely stay here again!

Family memories!!!
We all loved this cottage. It was everything and more to make these beautiful memories we will hold forever. We absolutely intend to rent this cottage again. It was a wonderful get-away for us all. Even the lil fur babies enjoyed the large deck overlooking the cove. The cottage was spacious, clean and relaxingly decorated. First time in a kayak for some, so thank you guys for the opportunity. Lovely restful time at High Rock Lake
This property is a gem. Clean, bright, right on the lake. It has a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of outdoor seating, a fire pit and kayaks. The owners could not be nicer and more responsive. Don't hesitate!

Close enough for our family to visit from Durham for the day or overnight. Great time golfing, exploring for antiques and visiting Childress winery. 1st time our dog experienced water, she loved going up and down the large deck and the Kayak ride. Fishing was good too. Caught nice sized Catfish and Bluegills right from the dock. Amazed at the size of high rock lake. Will definitely consider future trips.

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The location was great- right on the water and nice and easy to find. We would stay again for sure!

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The house had pretty much everything you need, they have thought of everything. The dock is perfect for pulling up our pontoon and jet ski. The only thing missing was a ladder for the dock. We did contact the owner and they were responsive and apologetic, due to back orders they didn’t have one at the time but have one on order. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely stay again!
