We have enormously enjoyed our stay in the Algarve. The house definitely added to that feeling. The house has anything for a family with adolescents (17&20y): great pool, a terrace for every moment in a day, plenty bathrooms, plenty space, good black-out curtains, plenty instagram-worthy spots 😉, all in the green and so much more… we’ve enjoyed staying there very much. The location of the house is a great asset too if you want to discover the Algarve without sitting in the car for hours to reach your destiny for the day, whether it’s Sagres in the West or Tavira in the East. And the many, many beautiful places in between. So, if you want to enjoy the beauty, the peace and the quietness of the Algarve to retreat, but like to have beaches, vivid towns with plenty of good value restaurants behind the corner… Keith & Christine’s house is just perfect for you. If you’re really fishing for a down point….the thing a missed during our stay was a good coffeemaker. But that didn’t stop my excellent experience. Thank you, Kristine from Elite, for the good service. And thanks again Keith & Christine for letting us stay at your marvellous house.

This is a beautiful villa in a secluded location. There are no shops or restaurants in walking distance so you need a car that will enable you to explore this beautiful area. The nearest beach is approx 2k away down tracks. Supermarket (big Intermarche in Porches) is about an 8 min drive. Elite rentals were very helpful before and during our stay. A cleaning lady, gardener and pool man also came but were not intrusive. The villa is very spacious and well equipped. Showers were very good, beds comfortable! It is worth noting that there are a lot of quite steep stairs, so this villa would not be suitable for very young children or anyone with mobility problems. The pool was great, the shallow end is 0.9m and then steps lead down to the deep end which is very deep - 2m. We paid extra to get it heated. We had a great time and can't wait to return!

This is our 5th time in the Algarve. Normally we stay in Vilamoura. We fancied a change and we are so glad we did. The Villa is perfect. Better than the photos suggested. The pool area is superb. Trying to get the kids to leave the pool was the hardest part of the holiday :) Inside the Villa is immaculately clean. Everything we needed was available. The Kitchen is very well equipped. Location is very secluded and private. Only a short drive from a handful of superb beaches. I would definitely recommend a car for this stay. Porches is only a 5-8 min drive and has a Lidl and Intermache. The other direction is Lagos and Portimao with some larger supermarkets. We would definitely recommend Benagil, Praia da Marinha and Praia do Carvoeiro for fantastic beaches. The cleaner visited twice a week and was very efficient. The Pool man had been and gone by the time we had finished breakfast and the gardener was also very discreet and worked early in the morning. Elite rentals have been a breeze to book with. Communication has been better than any other agent we have dealt with. During out stay we had a power outage, I contacted Elite Rentals and they reacted immediately. The power outage was out of their hands as it was a local outage but the pool man arrived within 15 minutes to reset the pool filtration and heating. The booking process with Kate was very clear and efficient. We are already waiting for next years dates to be released.

Mooi gelegen woning met uitzicht om de oceaan in rustige omgeving. Inrichting iets gedateerd maar functioneel en compleet. Goede bedden.

This is a property we would love to come back to in the future. Everything was well communicated and we had a great time

La maison est magnifique, très bien placé avec une vue magnifique. Le ménage au cours du séjour est un plus, ainsi que la disposition des serviettes . Intérieur très propre et bien entretenu.

Una casa estupenda, ideal para unas vacaciones tranquilas. Se encuentra cerca de las playas, aproximadamente a unos 15-20 minutos, a las que se puede ir andando por varias sendas. La casa es amplia, y se encuentra bien equipada (el aire acondicionado nos funcionó muy bien, en tres días que hizo mucho calor). Igualmente la casa se encontraba limpia, y a mitad de la estancia vinieron para hacer una limpieza de superficies y cambio de sabanas y toallas. La piscina está muy bien, la hemos disfrutado mucho, e igualmente han venido regularmente a limpiarla. En definitiva, una estancia estupenda, y es una casa muy recomendable.

Intérieur et extérieur très agréable au calme avec une vue dégagée, proche de tous commerces, plages et activités diverses.

Im Allgemeinen fanden wir alles in Portugal wunderschön und wunderbar, außer teilweise die Villa. Wir haben da eine schöne Zeit verbracht, aber leider ist die Lage nicht die beste und es ist schwierig, dahin zu kommen und die Beschreibung der Adresse ist nutzlos... Der Pool wurde während des neuntägigen Aufenthalts überhaupt nicht gereinigt und der Boden des Pools ist aufgrund der Schwere des Schmutzes grün geworden. Außerdem gab es keine Ersatz-Mülltüten und die Putzfrau kam einmal und brachte den Müll nicht an den dafür vorgesehenen Ort, an dem wir dies getan haben, und es gab keine alternative Tasche, die in den Müllkorb in der Küche gestellt werden konnte. Wir hatten auch Probleme beim Betrieb des Fernsehrs und der Satellitenkanäle. Die Türgriffe waren nicht fest befestigt, da sie mehrmals herausfielen. Wir haben angerufen, um diese Probleme zu lösen. Jedes Mal, sagten sie, dass morgen der spezialisierte Techniker kommen wird, um diese Probleme zu lösen, kam bis zum Abreisetag niemand und wir haben den Fernseher und den Satelliten überhaupt nicht benutzt ... Der Preis ist sehr teuer, nicht vergleichbar mit dem schlechten Service. Und nicht auf uns zu antworten, um es zu lösen.

Great location to explore all of the Algarve.

The villa was fantastic, very well equipped and in a peaceful rural location. Only minutes to beaches and Carvoeiro beach which was our favourite! I would 100% recommend staying in this property

Wir haben uns im Casa Engeho sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist für 6 Personen gut ausgestattet. Gefehlt hat uns lediglich eine Thermoskanne, um morgens den Kaffee warmzuhalten. 4-5 x pro Woche kommt eine Maid und sorgt für eine Reinigung und frische Handtücher. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen mit wenig direkten Nachbarn. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal hier vorbei.

Villa is beautiful, wonderful views.

The villa is stunning, impeccably maintained, centrally located. The interior is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The area is very quiet but within a few minutes drive to a great beach and a great supermarket (Apolonia). Kate was very helpful and the staff made sure several times that we had everything that we needed. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, the pool is clean and warm. Really a dream house.

Wir waren zu viert Ende August bis Mitte September 2018 in der Villa. Diese ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Trotzdem sind Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs, Restaurants und auch die berühmten Strände Marinha und Benagil schnell erreichbar. Die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Villa ist sehr sauber. Die sehr freundlichem Putzfrau kommt mehrmals in der Woche. Die Küche ist unglaublich gut ausgestattet - somit haben wir auch häufiger abends gekocht. Am Pool kann man wunderbar relaxen. Er ist aufgeteilt in einen tieferen und einen "Bar" -Bereich. Im Wasser befinden sich sogar Barhocker und es gibt Poolgläser aus Plastik. Handtücher, Duschgel/Shampoo sind ausreichend vorhanden, so dass man nicht alles mitbringen muss. Wir haben uns sehr über die Spielesammlung gefreut (U.a. Backgammon). An den Wochenenden lässt die Putzfrau den Waschraum offen, so dass man auch die Möglichkeit hat seine Wäsche zu waschen. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, wenn auch nicht so herzlich wie man es bspw. von Airbnb gewohnt ist. Vor Ort finder man noch Informationen der Besitzer zu Restaurants/Bars/Stränden/Wanderwegen etc. Alles in allem können wir jedem die Villa wärmstens ans Herz legen und buchen gern wieder in den kommenden Jahren!!! We had a wonderful 2 weeks here. 2 adults and 2 children, 10 and 7 years old. The steps to the pool were fine for us all. The pool is fantastic and lots of room for inflatables and lilos. Well equipped with sunbeds and pool man visited at least twice The bedrooms are spacious, air conditioned and lots of coat hangers provided. The living areas are well appointed, air con in lounge and lots of access points to the main terrace. The terraces off the double bedrooms provide lovely sea views. The villa is very clean and the housekeeper Silvia always had a smile and never imposed. The location is perfect to drive to nearby beaches, water parks and historic.towns. A car is a must but you are only a short drive from lovely places to eat and sightsee. The management company were incredibly helpful when we notified minor issues and they rectified them immediately. A fantastic villa for a holiday in the beautiful Algarve.

This villa is beautiful it's cosy and really great for the kids. The surrounding area and beaches are stunning. The host were welcoming and friendly really is a fantastic place.

Die Lage ist ziemlich abgeschieden, so gut wie kein Autoverkehr und trotzdem alles schnell erreichbar. Ohne Auto geht jedoch nichts. Bis zum nächsten Strand sind es 5 Minuten. Das Haus ist sehr schön, die Anlage gefällt. Guter Pool. In der Woche täglich Housemaid, einmal die Woche Poolservice und Gartenservice. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig. Während Haus und Außenanlagen nicht mehr ganz neu, jedoch sehr gut in Schuss und alles sehr sauber ist, könnte im Haus das ein oder andere eine Erneuerung erfahren. Insbesondere die Betten. Sie sind sehr sauber und auch bequem, jedoch viel zu klein. Doppelbetten mit 1,40 Breite müssen nicht sein. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder in dem Haus absteigen, insbesondere der Service des lokalen Betreuers ist erstklassig.

Inget hus att rekommendera för vinterboende. Vägen in till fastigheten totalt förstörd av allt regnande vilket lätt kunde ha skadat bilen. Ingen åtgärdade detta. I övrigt ett trevligt hus med fantastisk utsikt över nejden.
