Alana at the front desk was so kind and the location was excellent. The view of the water lovely and the breakfast was good.

An excellent Hotel, The breakfast was fine with a good choice the scrambled eggs were particularly good. The restaurant and Tapas bar were also very good. The Tapas bar had a good ambience and look to it. The restaurant served excellent food, with very good waiting staff. The hotel is very nicely done in what looks a traditional Spanish style, and this includes the rooms. The rooms are of a good size with large balconies that look out to sea. The Hotel is very near to the centre of town and yet it is very quite. The Owners and staff are all very friendly, attentive and polite.

Very centrally located. Had to leave before breakfast and didn't have dinner though in retrospect wish we had. Room small but clean and good shower. I liked the little bar near reception too.Really good value for what we paid. Reception and checkout very straightforward and the people in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We left some headphones in the mini safe and they found them and are posting them across to the UK. Well done Hotel Carabeo. We will be back in future.

Great location overlooking the sea at the back and street at the front, near the balcon. Nice pool and the restaurant looked very nice. Breakfast was fabulous and the lady who served us was very professional, we were offered fruit as well as eggs and bacon cooked to your liking. Nice shower room

We were not advised we could not drive to the location and as the fair was on we had to park at the expensive Balcon car park. The most disappointing part of our stay was that even though it was a national holiday and many tourists in Nerja, the restaurant and bar were closed all-day. The room was pleasant but small. It was a shame because it would have made such a difference. The reception girl when we arrived was not very helpful when I asked what was happening in Nerja on this National day.

Food we booked at the hotel restaurant was amazing , Breakfast was good, staff were lovely . Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Close to center.

The room we stayed in was on the front street and very dark and dismal , you need a sea view room if you are going to stay at this hotel . Bathroom shower leaked .

We booked this place pretty last minute after eloping to Gibraltar to get married, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! We stayed in the junior suite, which was lovely--spacious, low key, but with a touch of Andalusian/Caribbean elegance. The terrace was beautiful and private and we enjoyed spending time by the attractive pool. Breakfast was delicious, and very plentiful. The overall ambiance in the hotel/restaurant is very relaxed, which actually makes it feel all the more private. Such happy memories!

The location and the outdoor restaurant

Literally everything else one could ask for… Boutique charm, culinary magnificence, unbeatable epicentral location and a stunning view. Our room was spacious with an en suite, sitting area and covered porch with a lovely view of the sea. Service/comfort/walkability/price/setting….every aspect of our stay was on point!

Maybe the ivy could’ve been a different shade of green to complement my complexion;)
