Everything was spotless clean. The staff is amazing, the house is absolutely comfortable with everything you might need. Everything was absolutely marvelous

Everything was perfect

The property was beautifully done and in a quiet area. I loved how the birds came in at night and roosted in the trees. The breakfast basket delivered to our door was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ants. There were a few trails around but not a crazy amount.

We had a short, yet super relaxing stay at Casas de Juromenha. I have been to many places in Portugal, but this place was definitely the nicest one. Super friendly and helpful communication, a very cosy and nicely decorated house (including fire place, and small details which were super thoughtful), a super comfy bed. The place is surrounded by peaceful nature with beautiful places to explore (hiking/visiting). I would love to come back again during spring/summer to also enjoy relaxing days at the pool.

The bed is so comfortable, the bathroom is spotless and the view is amazing. Vera was very attentive and super friendly. We will definitely come back!

Nothing

The rooms were warm and cozy, ACs everywhere and the fireplace! An extra blanket, a lot of sitting places. The open kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle, oven, and a microwave. The fridge was full of every kind of beverage. The breakfast basket behind the door on the chosen hour was nice with fresh-pressed orange juice, warm croissants, and bread, ham, and cheese. Jams and marmalade were also good...plus yogurt and cereals. The bed was super comfy as well as pillows. There was a bathtub also. I loved most the fireplace which was easy to handle, all was ready. The village was a real pearl with the castle ruins (now in renovation), there was a little catamaran for river cruising, but we saw it too late. In the yard were bikes (we did not try this time). So many possibilities to be in Heaven on Earth!

I liked it all, just some thoughts. Being more than one night is warmly recommended. You will regret badly that you have to leave too soon! Being longer is smart to take fruit, eggs, porridge material, etc, and other things to make the breakfast menu more variable. (I imagine that many days the same breakfast will be a bit boring). It's good to take some warm food material also even there is a minimum of two restaurants in the village. Unfortunately, the local restaurant which has an interesting menu and was top-rated was closed both nights (even google said it's open).

The place and the surroundings

The infinity pool with great views and nice lounge chairs make the afternoon heat enjoyable. The houses are spacious, clean and the beds are very clean. The breakfast is very rich (typical Portuguese) and delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice. It was our second visit and we will come back for a third.

The pillows were a little bit hard for our liking.

Fantastic location by the river Guadiana. The house was comfortable and warm, even in the middle of winter. The fireplace made it really cozy too. Super helpful and kind staff. Would definitely stay again.
