The staff were superb. The owner's grandson, Carlos, was so helpful, accommodating, and welcoming. The area is quiet and safe. Would definitely come back and stay at this hotel. The price is affordable, location accessible to restaurant and grocery and Punta Sur.
Rooms need to be renovated or updated to attract more guests. Cleaning needs to be improved. I would also appreciate a thicker blanket rather than just a sheet.

Lady at the reception was super nice and she speaks a bit english. She called a help when our golf cart had broken and called taxi for us when on return to harbour. Area was nice and quite next to great restaurant with private beach.
The pool was nice but deserved little bit more care (use filter more often and from time to time it'd be better to clean bird droppings from pool's surrounding). The pressure in shower was really low and water was always cold. Also no fridge, toilet stinked and rooms deserved to be cleaned at least once in two days (fresh towels, new toilet paper and so).

It is a great value, a/c, cable tv, balcony with a view, and a pool at a modest price. I slept great, very quiet during my stay.
It needs minor repairs, but the managers took very good care of the grounds and the pool.

Friendly staff, great location and lovely outdoor space with pool. The room was a decent size, the beds were comfortable and it was great having a balcony with a view of the sea.

The hotel is in a great location and the price is great. If your looking for a place on a budget, this is a great hotel.
Housekeeping was terrible, shower would flood, door super hard to unlock

location. staff was nice
they could do a little better cleaning and needs a place by pool to relax with a little tlc could be a nice little place Also the booking process is confusing booking.com
charged my credit card but when we got to hotothey said they didn’t accept credit cards so we had to pay cash pesos. still trying to get reimbursed from booking.com for the credit card charges Hopefully they straighten it out or we won’t be using booking again!!!!

I liked the swimming pool which was refreshing and clean. It's located in southern Isla Mujeres. You can take the bus here for 20 pesos instead of a taxi for 1500 pesos. You can walk to Punta Sur and Castilla or Garrifon park. There are a few restaurants, bars, and a lad who sells expresso coffee from a VW van. The air conditioning is good. The shower is hot if you let it run a few minutes. Staff are nice but don't speak much English.
They REQUIRE that you pay them in pesos and do not accept credit or debit cards, including from Booking.com. Be sure to bring enough pesos or else they'll send you back to El Centro in the north where the only ATMs are located. Also, be sure they call Booking.com so that you don't get charged on your credit card as well as paying the hotel with pesos!

The pool is excellent. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Our view from the 3rd floor was awesome!. Inexpensive meant there are few amenities but what they have is great.
The stairs were a bit of a pain, they have a winding part halfway up each flight that makes the stairs "challenging"

cute exterior
poor facility, water throughout hallways and on stairs, wifi does not work in any rooms only at reception, room with 4 people only given 2 towels and were not given more despite asking after being caught in thunderstorm, no toilet seat in bathroom, doors do not lock easily, shower hard to get warm water (cold or boiling), can get locked into bathroom, aircon not working in 1 room

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me when I lost my cell phone. I can’t express how much I appreciate their concern and support. Room was large and clean. View was great, pool well maintained. Bed was unexpectedly large and comfortable for the price. This is not an upscale resort, but I thought it was great value for the price.
If I have to find fault, the walls were thin, as expected for the price. It was very quiet for 2 days and when a family checked in I used my earplugs. The bathroom door was quite worn. Shower was tricky as it took a while to get hot, then you had to turn the hot down to a trickle to not scald yourself. But could have a hot shower, just with low pressure. All well within expectations for a large comfortable room with a great view in this price range.

the sea view was amazing and the location was perfect for us. we thought the north end was far to loud and busy so being in the south was great.

The place is away from the drunk golf cart street racers of north beach. South Beach is much quieter and nicer views although not as swim friendly. Beautiful views of Caribbean/Riviera Maya waters. I would recommend this place if you want to be away from the chaos or do not mind driving a few minutes. Taxis charge 100-150 to Centro.
They do not have any food or beverages for sale on site. It’s a bit rustic but good value for the location and views.

The views are amazing and the hotel is in a quiet location
The fact that it’s not properly maintained. I had to switch rooms twice and still ended up in a room were the fridge didn’t work. Also don’t like reception trying to overcharge me.

A nice alternative to downtown Isla Majures. Right on the main bus route and not far to walk to some nice bars and Punta Sur.
Beautiful views looking out on the water and a nice garden and pool. Very calm.
You book on Booking.com but like many smaller places in Mexico you will need to pay in full with cash when you check in. Quite an annoyance but pretty standard practice in Mexico.

The affordability
We arrived and no one was there to check us in .. only maintenance man was there and he was clueless

The friendliness of the staff. Great customer service. Room doesn't really have much amenities. A good place with a semi-comfy bed to crash after being out all day.
Outdated but the price is reasonable. Would book again if needed.

I was hoping for a nice room with a view but the palm tree obscured the nice view.
Beds were lumpy bumpy and there was no running water the next morning.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. And the gorgeous ocean view from my room was the main reason I booked this hotel and dis not leave after one day.
I knew it was very far from the center, but really underestimated that there was not much around (food, supermarket, etc). You had to be lucky to get a taxi in front of the hotel and walking the 6km to the center in the heat was a challenge.
Taking a shower was almost impossible as the shower head was so calcified that only a few drops of water came out. Impossible to wash my hair. Wifi was really bad and did not work most of the time. Working online was impossible.

Spacious rooms, ice cold air conditioning, a lovely pool and garden incredible location
8.0 / 10.0
The view from the balcony is astonishing, the owner is very nice and was very helpful and prompt to deal with requests, the swimming pool was beautiful and we also loved the couple of big male iguanas that live in the garden of the hotel.
It’s a shame that is a bit outdated and having “age” related problems with the structure and the furniture, Edwin works very hard and was really good with us and tried hard to make sure we were looked after.

The pool was beautiful and very clean. The view from our room was amazing. All the rooms have an ocean view. The man who greeted us at the front desk was very helpful, spoke fairly good english too and was able to get us into a different room much earlier! Our check in was 3, but we arrived about 11:30, hoping only to be able to drop off our luggage. It was such a bonus to be immediately taken to a room.
The A/C fan seemed a little on the weak side, but it did the job. It wasn't a big issue for us.

Air conditioning was nice. Good price for what you get.
The beds were uncomfortable, only a sheet and no blanket. It is on the south end of the island and the north end is a lot better for beaches / food / going out.
