The location is perfect for walking through Edgartown or jumping in the car and touring the island. We loved grabbing coffee in the mornings in The Richard and walking down the the harbor for breakfast. The peacefulness of The Richard is amazing.

Stayed only one night and wish we could have stayed longer. room 13 was exceptional with its own private deck. breakfast was small but high quality and perfect to kick start your day.

This is a great place with an outstanding location. It’s a historic home renovated perfectly to feel like a boutique hotel. You can have drinks by the fire pit in the courtyard or hang out in the cool lobby and have an amazing breakfast in the morning before you start the day. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodated early check-in requests as well as bag storage on our way out. The location is perfect right on Main Street.

way overpriced for this property. decor of room totally inappropriate to style of vintage home, ultra modern😩 terrible lighting . bathroom not set up for a woman to put on makeup as no place to put toiletries except under the sink . no make up mirror no valet or man to bring up the luggage on very old narrow steps. we are elderly and very difficult to bring up or down luggage!!! safe placement so high only a very tall person could use easily. problem also with AC

Pretty good breakfast selection The room was nice,good bed linens and towels. Loved the garden and outdoor seating. Brandy was very nice and helpful. Perfect location.

My room was very dark. No good reading light . No chair in my room . One overhead light burned out

The breakfasts were just OK.

The room was a bit dark, there was no hot water for 1.5 days and there was no heat, just air conditioning which provided no heat regardless of the temperature selected. , The solution was a heavy blanket and a space heater. For the price I expected a bit more. I had stayed at this site a few years ago and was very happy with everything. I was less so this time although not being billed at booking and a more generous cancellation window were definitely a plus

Very little amenities. Not much to differentiate this hotel to justify for the cost.

breakfast was a disappointment. Hotel room by small but I was expecting it. Clean, yes.

highend boutique hotel. Charges $550 per night including breakfast but it is almost nonexistent. Though COVID can certainly affect service, hotel could resolve to either provide a voucher to have a decent breakfast at a closed by coffee shop or reduce the night rate accordingly. I would not stay again and I would not recommend it.
