No one there when we arrived to check in waited for 20 minutes after pushing the bell numerous times rang a mobile number and was told they could be 10 minutes or longer and they will get there when they get there definitely out dated rooms looked like the ceiling was going to fall down

Quite location not far from town. Pleasant leafy environment. Pool,would be good in hot weather. Handy to river. Staff very helpful.
Problems setting air conditioning but it eventually worked. This was a common problem on several nights. They need to get their thermostats checked and maintained, generally speaking.
Toasters, plates etc all well provided. Only minor problem was the shower rose is rather antiquated ( probably the original form the late 1970s. This was really the only fault - except the air con settings but this problem was present at most of our stays.

The room we had was very spacious and comfortable. The location was great and George and Lily were so accommodating and friendly and were more than happy to go above and beyond for us.

Perfect location just a short distance from centre of Halls Gap village. Room was well heated and spacious. Property hosted a number of wild kangaroos

Everybody was very friendly and geniune. The room was big and comfy and just had everything that you needed.
Returning back during the night, just needed a bit more light at the front entrance just to indicate the motel signage

It is a gem of a hideaway. From the road it looks ho him BUT once you enter it has many surprises.
The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet.
The grounds were huge, plenty of shaded areas to sit by the pool, kids to kick a ball around and dogs to run.

Enjoyed our stay in a comfortable clean room with our dog. Liked that there was plenty of outside room to take the dog walking. Very friendly welcome to the motel. Would stay again and recommend to others

Greenacres was a great place to stay the rooms were clean and comfortable additionally we could take our golden retriever with us which made Greenacres a place worth a special recommendation :-)

We stayed at Green Acres because we were travelling with our pet dog. There are many hotels in town but this hotel was short listed as pet friendly.
Our stay was excellent. The hotel was actually really well set up. Larger than expected room. Well appointed with lots of small detail touches that other hotels do not offer - cooking facilities, cutlery, magazines, dog bowl, owner dropped in to welcome us personally and left some cup cakes for afternoon tea.
Happy to recommend and stay again.
Wifi was a little slow.
