Really good hotel in a great location. Very traditional Spanish hotel. Perfect for a stop when heading north to South, or reverse.

A very Spainish hotel with great food all cooked on BBQ behind the bar. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was large and comfortable.

Large, comfortable and characterful room, great bed and shower. Steaks on the grill were amazing for dinner and very friendly staff. Spa bath was worth the extra and they were very welcoming to us and our dogs, would definitely stay again. Is on a busy road but set back and even our front room was well insulated from noise and with working air con if needed :)

La cafetería estaba abierta a todas horas.
La comida y el trato del personal muy bien.
Los accesos al hotel muy complicados.
La puerta del hotel cerrada; tienes que entrar por la cafetería.
Las habitaciones estaban en un segundo piso y el ascensor no funcionaba.
No había nadie en recepción; se atendía desde la cafetería.

Convenient location for a stopover to break the journey ( driving from Santander to Malaga) spacious rooms and great steaks

This hotel is my regular half way stop on the journey from Málaga to Santander. The location is perfect in that respect. There is secure parking and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The WiFi works well. I appreciate that my dog is welcomed and there is plenty of space beyond the car park to exercise him.
This was the first time that I've been allocated a room at the road side of the hotel and I found the road noise, while not excessive, noticeable. Rooms at the back of the hotel, odd numbers, are preferable from a noise point of view.

la habitacion, un palacio muy amplia, con su bañera hydro masante, excelente, y el estilo muy original, muy rustico, estilo castillo.....
la comida, lo que comi estaba muy gustoso, y todo bien en ese sentido

Good for a one night stop over. Room spacious. Everything very good: clean, good food and service.

Perfect for a motorway break. Rooms are very spacious. Good choice of food both in the bar and in the restaurant. If you are there in the afternoon (before 16:00), there is an excellent "Menu of the Day".
Nothing really, but it's a stop on the motorway, just as advertised. If you have a pet, there are fields behind the hotel where you can have a long walk.

My room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was very big too.
It was just off the motorway so was great for a stop off on the way to Santander for the ferry.

Just off motorway with plenty of parking. Ideal stopover. Staff really helpful and friendly. We had 2 rooms which were the same- big, beautiful and clean. Four poster beds super comfortable. Had food before leaving around 12 and was tasty and great value. Overall great and would definitely use again.

great big bedrooms with great big beds. Very clean, friendly staff, good food. Straight off the motorway if your travelling either way through Spain from ferry ports in north. Close enough to Toledo to make a visit if you stay for more than one night.

Excellent traditional decor and Spanish hospitality. The restaurant and cafeteria are so good we would go out of our way to stay there again! Secure parking a bonus.
Bed could have been softer for our aging bones and would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee supplies in the room for that early cup of coffee in bed!

Big room with a spa bathroom, bed was enormous and comfortable. Has a restaurant and bar on site, loads of options for eating. The steak was perfect. Friendly locals in the bar. Will stay again on way back from south to the ferry. Try it!
only problem was finding it, the name on all the signs says Hotel Modero. So we drove past it a number of times before a friendly local a t a nearby village took us there.

The size of the room. And the huge bed.The air conditioning was excellent. It was quite cold as it was February. It heated the room well. It was really handy as just off the motorway. Easy to find. Also have good parking.
