The Cottage was perfect for our family. Views over Camps Bay and towards the mountains were stunning. Loved the terrace up the little spiral staircase from the living area.
The beds were very comfortable and it was useful to have both bedrooms en-suite. Loads of clothes hangers were available. We also liked the thoughtful little touches like plug adaptors for different countries and a pair of hair straighteners being available. And the heated rug in the living room was great on cooler nights as was the electric blanket in one of the bedrooms.
Vicky was very friendly, helpful, thoughtful and great at responding to our queries.
I'd definitely recommend Panorama Cottage and would love to stay here again if we come back to Camps Bay.

Ideal for two couples. Everything about the apartment worked for us: sufficient space, very comfortable, all the facilities we needed, nicely furnished, everything worked, bright, airy, a great upstairs patio area for outside dining/relaxing, with a super view of Lion's Head, good secure parking.
There is a communal pool for the block of apartments. Two of the six sunbeds disappeared during our stay and the condition of the pool was variable, however a nice place on a hot day to cool off if okay and not busy.
The main coast street in Camps Bay is a short drive or 15/20 minute walk away. Plenty of parking. The beach is fabulous. so many cafes and restaurants to choose from; Mantra and Hussar Grill we would highly recommend. Further afield, Chefs Warehouse at Tintswalo is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to, has to be booked months in advance! Another was Belly of the Beast in Cape Town.
We used Uber taxis all the time for going out in the evening, so good, so efficient, so safe we felt.
There's a great Deli for essentials (and great coffee/pastries) just 5 mins drive away.
Overall, Vicky's apartment is a perfect base in order to enjoy everything on offer in the Cape Town/Camps Bay area.

Ideal location in beautiful Camps Bay. Very well equipped cottage and a convenient base for our three-week holiday in the Western Cape. Vicky was a most gracious and helpful host. She was easily accessible and did so much to make our visit a pleasant one. We look forward to returning. Thank you.

Everything went extremely well for our stay. Our family loved the location and the accommodations.
Great communication and regular cleaning made it a great choice.
Easy access to the beach, Chapman's Peak, Sea Point, Table Mountain and the city center.

we can very well recommend this cottage, although some things were not as expected.
The pool was not really useable, the dishes needed a little wash.
But, well, whining on high level.

We had a great stay at Panorama cottage with the highlight being the sun terrace with the fantastic views over camps bay and lions head for sundowners. The BBQ was also handy and the kids enjoyed the shared swimming pool. Having two bathrooms was also beneficial. I highly recommend this accommodation.

This sparkling spot was a perfect place for my longtime sister girlfriend and I to spend the final phase of our South African adventure. The layout was perfect and the ocean and mountain views were even more beautiful than described. Vicky was a fountain of information and enthusiasm - from restaurants, walking routes and ways to keep ahead of the "loadshedding". She never missed a beat. Our time there included "sundowners" on the deck, easy access to every place on our list to visit, and even doing a load of laundry! Totally wonderful experience!!

This rental hit all the marks…..location, view, cleanliness, feeling safe (gate entrance to villas), attentive owner (met us and introduced us to Camp’s Bay….she even had a welcome bottle of wine for us after a long flight!), stocked with everything we needed, had backup lights and power for modem during load shedding. Highly recommend for a comfortable, gorgeous place to stay.

We had a wonderful week in Camp’s Bay. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spacious for our family of four. The view from the upstairs deck was phenomenal. We Will be back.

We loved our stay at Vicky’s place in Camps Bay. It was the perfect base for us as we spent 5 days in Cape Town. It is an easy drive/Uber to Cape Town centre / V&A waterfront and also a short walk down to Camps Bay itself. Highly recommend, if only for the great terrace which catches the best sunset.

We spent ten days in this lovely cottage and enjoyed yourselves. It was perfect for the type of trip we organized -a little bit of business with lots of fun on the side. House was easy to catch Uber's from although we rented cars on the weekends and the garage was great to use. Laundry facilities were excellent and cooking was a breeze. We found a great app (EskomeSePush) to manage and work around the scheduled daily load shedding challenges without electricity. The owner provided battery charged lamps for evenings when electricity would go out and then there was a battery back up for Internet and TV, which was my main concern. We never were without internet and with the app we were able to work around the daily outages with minimal disruption to our schedule. All the restaurants have generators so it's not difficult to find a meal. The cottage itself was perfect, beautifully decorated in a bright and light-filled beachy style. My bestie and I each had our own room and en suite bath and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils to cook several simple meals. In short, a wonderful base for our stay in Cape Town.

Beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed beach condo with great view of Camp’s Bay beach and Lion’s Head. We had everything we needed, including some much-appreciated welcome goodies for our first night. Terrific communication with owner. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay
The flat is in a perfect location, with a stunning view of Lion’s Head and the ocean. It’s a short walk to shops and the beach, and the neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Central Cape Town is just a short drive or Uber away. And the flat itself is wonderful—very comfortable and well appointed. It was spotlessly clean and clearly cared for. The highlight is the private outdoor balcony, which faces west for a gorgeous sunset. We could not have picked a better place to stay and miss it already.

Toller Ausblick

Fantastic stay
Myself and 2 friends stayed in this beautiful apartment for 5 nights recently. The apartment is perfectly placed for a short stroll into Camps Bay.
It's secure and has everything you need, including a roof terrace where you can watch the stunning sunsets, over a brai or some drinks.
The wifi was good allowing us to order Uber and a local takeaway and the apartment is well equipped, two bathrooms, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer and dryer and a useful garage should you have a car.
Vicky (owner) was lovely, answering lots of questions pre our stay and arranging to meet us later for check in due to our flights getting in later.
A fantastic place to stay in the wonderful Camps Bays and would highly recommend.

Quiet location with gorgeous views of Camps Bay
Enjoyed our stay in the apartment which we found to be a convenient location with an awesome view. Spent most of our time on the upper deck enjoying the weather and beauty of the area when not out. Slight negative were living room sofas which were uncomfortable. Bed was very comfortable!

Fabulous stay
Fabulous stay at this lovely cottage. Very bright, clean and well equipped, with two lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms, lovely open planned kitchen, great views from the lounge and spiral stairs to a beautiful roof top terrace with fantastic views. We enjoyed lovely bbqs, sundowners, and breakfasts on the terrace. Use of a lovely pool too. Fantastic host so helpful and there for any queries. Thank you very much for having us. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant cottage. Comfortable and relaxed. Owner friendly and helpful.
Very tidy and clean. Living area a little small but the patio makes up for that with great views. The pool area in the property is not great but the cottage itself is just fine.

The ideal place to stay in Cape Town
This was the perfect place to stay in and around Cape Town. So close to Table Mountain, Long Street etc in the city, but so peaceful to escape it all and have a glass of wine on the terrace. The city is about £4-£5 in an uber.
It's a 10 minute walk down to Camps Bay which made it easy to wander down for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and head back without the need for transport. The location is perfect.
The cottage itself was great. It's clean, modern and has everything you need for a stay. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved coming back to watch the sunset on the terrace with a drink.
Vicky was so helpful anytime we needed anything and kept us updated with cleaning. She even let us stay most of our check out day as it wasn't booked on that day.
We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to any friends/family visiting Cape Town.

Great place to stay
We visited at Cape Town last October. It was our first time in South Africa and Cape town. Our host Vicky was very helpful so it was easy start our visit at Cape Town.
Camps Bay Cottage was a perfect "base". It´s location is good. You can easily reach all the main sites at Cape Town within few minutes but the best thing of it is a magnificent view to the sea and Camps Bay.... and those SUNSETs - we loved it and we´ll be missing those sunsets. You can also see the Lion head and the Table mountain at the cottage´s terrace.
There are many good restaurants near the cottage. The nearest groceries are located within 1 km.
Cottage´s kitchen was well equipment so you can cook there also, but we recommend that you eat the good restaurants nearby.
Cottage was clean and cosy so we enjoyed very much staying at the cottage.
We had rented a car but we use it only when we visited at the Cape Penisula because the Uber serve so well and rekiable at Cape town.
You can easily visit at the Cape penisula from the cottage. It takes about 45 min - 60 min to drive there form the cottage.
We can truly recommend Camps Bay Cottage to other people.

Excellent property with breathtaking vista.
Panorama Cottage was an excellent choice for us as a couple and an ideal base for visiting the numerous attractions of the western cape - Cape Town, The Waterfront, Winelands, Cape Point etc etc. It was well equipped and had all the facilities that we needed . We particularly enjoyed our sun downers, on the balcony with the breathtaking vistas of Table Mountain and Lions Head behind and Camps Bay and the ocean below. As I have a business in the UK, it was important to have a strong reliable WiFi and this was the case, Vicky proved an excellent host.
Our favourite restaurant in Camps Bay was the Codfather for atmosphere and excellent seafood. We left the hire car and used Uber for and evening out at the V&A Waterfront. It took around 15 minutes at a cost of 70 Rand.
We have no hesitation in recommending Panorama Cottage.

Camps Bay Cottage met all our needs and more during our stay there. It is very well furnished and equipped and extremely secure and includes a garage for safe parking. It is well maintained and cleaners visit regularly and do a good job. Camps Bay is a beautiful suburb of Cape Town in the shadow of Table Mountain and about a 20 minute drive from the Waterfront. If you don’t have your own wheels Uber seems to be the way to get around but I would strongly recommend car hire for the duration of your stay. If you only intend to stay local then another alternative is the hop on hop off bus service which runs from the seafront and is only about a 15 minute walk away. There are some fantastic restaurants within walking distance of the property and we particularly enjoyed the Hussar Grill (best steak I’ve ever tasted) and The Cod Father (superb seafood). Vicky, the owner, was very helpful from the outset. Before we arrived she kept us informed and provided detailed instructions on how to get there from the airport. As it turned out we were late arriving because the airline had lost our luggage. Nevertheless, Vicky went out of her way, not just to be there to welcome us but she’d also bought us some basic toiletries to last us until our luggage arrived 24 hours later. We were most grateful too for the welcoming bottle of wine. All in all we had a wonderful fortnight in Camps Bay. There is so much to see and do in and around Cape Town and Camps Bay Cottage was the perfect base for us, enabling us to enjoy a memorable holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and relatives and would happily return there in the future.

Perfect Holiday
We stayed at the cottage for 4 nights and could have stayed another month! The property is beautiful and secure with views that can't be beat. Vicky was excellent to work with, very attentive and kind. Because the cottage is on the hill it is quiet and the views are breathtaking, but it is close enough to enjoy all that Camps Bay has to offer. We used it as home base to travel to wine country, Simons Town, Table Mountain, Lions Head, and enjoy a last day on the beach. It was nice to also have the washer and dryer as well as a garage for the car, Vicky leaves beach chairs and toys to use which was great for our beach day. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent property in great location
A great stay from start to finish. Vicky our host was reliable and attentive to all our needs. The property is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Camps Bay but close enough to enjoy all its delights. We would walk down to the beach and get a taxi back as we have a three year old and its up hill home. We used Uber and taxis cost less than £1.50 doing this. The house is lovely , very cleaned and well equipped. The beds have nice linen and mattresses very comfy. The roof terrace can be quite magical sitting watching the sunset or early morning. The property is serviced twice a week whihc is a bonus. All the restaurants are great for different reasons and as the rand was so good we did not eat in at all. There is masses to do locally. We spent New Years Day having lunch at Dunes Cafe at Hout Bay and walking up to the harbour to see the resident seals. A great holiday and fab host. We would definately book this place again.

Delightful stay.
We spent a very enjoyable 5weeks in Panorama Cottage this year. The property is well situated above Camps Bay and within a pleasant walk to the centre. Views over the Bay, Table Mountain and Signal Hill. The interior is well appointed, clean and bright. The swimming pool is well maintained and quiet. The rooftop patio area is secluded with a good view. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. One small maintenance matter was attended to within a couple of hours. We are booked to return next year. Thank you to Vicky.

Perfection
Perfection! My husband and I stayed at Vicky's Camps Bay Cottage for a week in Nov 2015. Vicky kept in touch with us via email and sent us perfect updated directions due to construction in the area. She was waiting for us when we arrived (there was a welcome gift basket with goodies) and gave us a tour of the property. The balcony provided us with a breathtaking view of the city below and the ocean. The Cottage was located in an upscale neighborhood and was completely safe with not only a gate but also 2 locked doors for entry. The Cottage is part of a group of attached apartments. It is an end unit with views of the ocean. We never heard any noise from the neighbors. There is both a single parking garage and an outdoor space so parking was never an issue. The apartment was clean and provided all of the essentials. The bed was extremely comfortable and the white linens were divine! Bathroom was very clean and Vicky had left soap and shampoo that was to die for!!! Probably THE MOST IMPORTANT FACT was that wifi was perfect. Cape Town can be very spotty with their wifi but we were always able to connect with loved one's when we returned home every evening. The kitchen looked like it had all of the essentials but truthfully we never ate at home once. The food in Cape Town is soooo cheap that it didn't make sense to waste the effort of cooking our own meals. But there is a grocery right down the street where you can purchase anything. There are also numerous restaurants located a few minutes away. Along with the restaurants, there are stores located on what I would call a "strip" along the beach. Perfect for walking and enjoying the sunshine. The location could not have been better for all the major attractions. Camps Bay reminded me of San Francisco. Hilly with breathtaking views and beaches. Cape Town center was more of a city. I would recommend staying at the Cottage to anyone interested in staying in a luxury area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Check out was a breeze with Vicky trusting us to just leave the key!

A great find!
With friends, we stayed at the Cottage for our final few days following our tour along the Garden Route. Cottage is in an excellent location and with stunning views of the Camps Bay beach & Table Mountain (12 Apostles). Please note for anyone with any walking difficulties, there is quite an uphill walk from the beach but there is a bus service which you can pick up from the end of the road. Camps Bay has excellent restaurants & bars. Vicky was a great host & very hospitable. The cottage is well equipped, both in terms of the kitchen and maps / books left for "things to do / places to visit". An added bonus was a secure car parking space. Would certainly recommend, and if we should re-visit, would definitely book here again. This is our 3rd visit to SA, so feel certain we will be back again. Can´t fault it.

Excellent apartment and host
A well equipped apartment, in an excellent location with assistance when needed from a well-informed and friendly host.
The apartment was light and airy. Everything we needed was there and it all worked. The walk to the beach was fine, and car access to cape Town was easy. (As easy, and without parking hassle, was access to a good bus service).
A very happy stay.

Panorama Cottage
The view from the balcony was magnificent. The sound of the waves could be heard at all times.
The property was comfortable, and had all facilities like a DVD player etc.
Loved the little touches such as a pack of cookies on arrival, and also the once a week cleaning service.
The property has mountain views on the one side, including a view of the cable cars, and a beach view on the other, as far as nature is concerned it felt like being in paradise.
