- awesome location including an incredible view on the sea - big living room (2 sofas) - big pool (~30qm), enough sunbeds and a hammock - two big outdoor tables (1 infront of the living room, 1 next to the pizza oven) - outdoor kitchen including a pizza oven, bbq firepit and a water tap - coals, olive wood and firestarters are available or can be "ordered" for free - Evina is a great host (gifts included)

- the kitchen is missing a few basics dishes - a poker and a mop for the pizza oven would be a good addition (pizza peel is available) - the WiFi needs improvement (connection and speed)

Beautiful pool and bbq area with views of olive groves and the sea. The sun sets each evening on that side so there are gorgeous views. Host was super helpful and provided complimentary olive oil, vinegar and helped with requests. Great area with easy roads to drive. Overall a lovely day!

Inside kitchen is lacking, for example only one spoon for cooking (in a 10 person villa). Needs more cooking trays (one didn’t fit the oven), serving plates, utensils, tea towels etc. Plenty of cupboard space was bare. Even the kitchen bin was very tiny for the amount of people that were staying.

Evina is a wonderful, helpful and a friendly hostess. Malvasia location was perfect, because we visited Crete's beaches, culture and towns with a minivan during one week. Malvasia is also in very good condition and the premises were very suitable for four adults and for four children.

Our stay at Malvasia villa was absolutely brilliant. During the ongoing Covid situation it was really important we ended up with a villa that could cater for 8 people as we would spend more time around the pool. This villa was perfect for this! From the moment we arrived, we all felt really relaxed and the villa offered everything we wanted. The space both inside and outside was bigger than expected even after viewing the photos online, with the areas around the pool more than able to cater for 2 families with 4 kids in tow. The pool was very large and great for playing and deep enough to jump and dive in. Our favourite place was the outside poolside area with sitting areas as well as a Pizza oven and BBQ (which was used very often!). There was also a large terrace at the front of the villa to sit at nights/lunchtimes etc. The villa was big enough for the kids to spread themselves out in when wanting to chill, in different areas and the kitchen was perfect for what you need with 8 of you on holiday. The host was exceptional and was always on hand via mobile, to immediately answer any questions, queries we had and also offered so many excellent recommendations around the islands. Please take her up on her offer of restaurant recommendations, as they really were top class and we were never disappointed. The villa cleaning service was twice a week which again was outstanding! The villa is situated in a very quiet place up in the hills which was perfect but only 10 mins to the nearest village (small supermarkets etc ), Stavrenomos and only 20 mins from Rekmython which was a great town to visit. As its central to the island we were ideally placed to travel in both directions and to the South, the island is bigger than I ever thought so we lucked upon being central. Chania, was beautiful as was Heraklion. A must is Balos Lagoon, but beware it is a nightmare journey (off road for 20 mins and I mean off road) and then a hike of epic proportions.

The villa is in an amazing location. It's very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The photos are an accurate representation of reality. Perfect for our family holiday away. Lots to see and do nearby or you can just relax at the villa, by the pool or using the brilliant BBQ facilities. Evina was on hand all of the time in case we needed anything, and we really appreciated the personal touch, along with all of the lovely food items, inclding honey, fresh eggs, vegetables, coffee and cake! Thank you Evina, you're a great host. We'll be recommending Malvasia (and Vilana) villas to our friends.

Nothing! The only thing we needed were some larger cups for tea and coffee and some pegs for hanging out washing as it was a bit windy on some days. This is nit picking though, and there really was nothing else which we didn't like.
