Beautiful 18th Century Stone Whole Home With Balcony And 2 Roof Terraces

La maison est composée de tous les 3 niveaux (une rareté) du 18ème siècle. propriété plus 2 terrasses et est plus grande que la plupart des maisons de ville à louer à Ostuni. La maison est historique, moderne et romantique. Le niveau du sol est entièrement carrelé et comprend un futon ou un lit (selon le type de couchage) et une salle de bains avec une grande douche. Il y a aussi une grande armoire pour le stockage et une machine à laver avec séchoir. Au 1er niveau, le salon, avec son sol d'origine et son plafond en pierres apparentes, comprend un canapé / une chaise, un fauteuil en cuir et un centre de divertissement. Au large du salon se trouve la chambre principale, avec un lit «matrimonial» (queen / double), une 2e chambre avec placard et tiroirs et une 2e salle de bain. Le 2ème niveau dispose de plafonds voûtés en étoile et comprend une grande cuisine bien équipée et un coin repas pour 6 personnes. La cuisine mène aux terrasses qui offrent 2 salles à manger en plein air, grill et un coin salon / canapé offrant une vue spectaculaire sur la mer, la cathédrale et le centre historique. La vue sur la ville illuminée la nuit est magnifique. Wi-Fi rapide gratuit dans maintenant inclus!

We had a lovely stay in the house in Ostuni. The terraces were so nice. We enjoyed the view. Shops and restaurants are nearby. It is not suitable for people who can't climbe stairs. But for us it was perfect!

We enjoyed our vacation in the middle of the 'Centro storico' in Ostuni very much. The cozy roof terrace of the house invites you to the sunset or sunrise and offers an unforgettable view over the roofs of the city, over to the cathedral and the sea. The house is equipped with everything we wanted. The bedroom on the bottom floor is certainly the ideal place for a restful night in the hot summer, but in early April it was a bit too cool. The beds on the 1st floor are very comfortable. Since this is an old (but very lovingly decorated) house, there is definitely to note that the steps between the floors are really steep, so you should be good on foot.
The house is beautifully located in the middle of the old streets of Ostuni. It is possible to get everything on foot (bakery, supermarket, fishmonger...) and it is difficult to choose between the many bars and restaurants. We were able to park our car in public parking not far from the house in April at no cost and without any problems.
This place is ideally located for excursions in Puglia, a beautiful, very interesting region of Italy.
Particularly noteworthy is the helpfulness of the landlady even before arrival. After booking, we were provided directly with a comprehensive information package. In addition, every question was answered within 24 hours. Impressive!
The farewell was really hard for us! Gladly we recommend this accommodation and hope that we can once again return.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house, which we found well equipped and very tastefully arranged. We were very well received by Pauline. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view while having breakfast at the terrace (and the DVD collection on cold winter nights ;-)

Amazing House in Ostuni
Me and my friends stayed at Debbie and Paul's house for 4 days in Ostuni. The house has 2 terraces with an incredible view of the silhouette of the city also its in the heart of Ostuni. If I ever go back to Ostuni, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Fabulous and quaint apartment in Ostuni
The apartment is in a great location- close to everything thing you need. The process booking and communicating with the owner Debbie was very easy and efficient. Additionally, Pauline - the property manager was totally great.
The rooftop deck is the perfect place to have a cocktail after a day touring or a day spent at the beach.

Lovely house in convenient location with fantastic views from 2 roof-top terraces
Our communication with the owners was easy and helpful, and Pauline, their local representative met us at the apartment within minutes of our arrival. Check-in was simple, fast and efficient, and the house was clean, cute and comfortable.
Unfortunately, our stay was too short to enjoy cooking in the charming, well-stocked kitchen, and the lower terrace would have been perfect for a romantic dinner. We did spend plenty of time on both terraces enjoying the views both day and night.
Access to the old town and public square was a short stroll downhill in one direction, and the public park with greenery and benches (and parking for our rental car) down another.
Checkout was as simple as leaving the keys on the table when we left.
We loved the place, would stay there again, and would recommend it to others. (Since it is four levels including the terraces, renters should be prepared for stairs.)

Debbie's house is an excellent location to stay in Ostuni. It's cozy and charming, with two terraces offering an amazing view to the old town. Also very close to walk to the main sights. We'd love to come back!

An amazing welcome
We enquired if we could arrived early, which did not prove to be a problem. We had an excellent introduction and were also walked into the town so that we knew where we could park, the local supermarket and the restaurant area. Given our stay was only for two days the orientation got us off to a fast start. Great house and great location- much nearer to the centre than it appears on the map. Loved the roof garden. Hard to think of any shortfalls. The stairs might challenge some people. We were very lucky and found free parking nearby. Our visit was in June I could imagine parking being harder in the height of the season. Would definitely recommend and would readily revisit.

Great location and fantastic views
The property was exactly as expected. We had a fantastic time and would return on a heartbeat. It was very hot while we where there so weren’t able to use the rooftop deck as much as we would have liked but enjoyed outdoor breakfasts. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Very organized and comfortable house.

Great location and views in Ostuni
We loved Ostuni and our stay here was very memorable and enjoyable. The house is fabulous due to the amazing view from the patios and was always worth the steep climb up the stairs. Inside was set up over 3 levels with two more levels outside. Kitchen, diner and lounge very comfortable and serviceable.
Thanks to Gary, our greeter, who spent time with us to not only orient us with the house, but also our neighbourhood and Ostuni.

We found the people of Ostuni to be helpful and the restaurants to be very good. The steep stairs were a bit of a challenge, and the lack of any storage near the master bedroom was somewhat inconvenient, but those were minor issues.
The owners are very responsive and we would definitely recommend a stay in their lovely Italian stone house.

Ready to go back to Casa Josephina again!
Casa Josephina was just wonderful. The location can't be beat - we walked to the park for cornetti and coffee every morning, and for the antique market on the 2nd Sunday of the month. We also walked to the fabulous Saturday fruit/vegetable/clothes market. Old town and all the sights were within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was quite comfortable and a cozy home base with 2 nice bedrooms on the main level. When we reached Ostuni Gary showed us all around and even took us to the grocery store for supplies. A very nice bottle of Primativo wine was there to welcome us! I'd highly recommend Casa Josephina to anybody going to Ostuni - we will be back!

Wonderful location...
This is our second stay in Ostuni... 8 years or so between visits & Ostuni’s charm is still there. The house was excellently equipped, really comfy bed & very quiet for the two of us. We used the trains rather than a car this time & that worked well. We were certainly fitter when we left Ostuni; the house & Ostuni itself have a number of steep stairs/steps. The local shops & restaurants were really good, although the highlight was the Saturday market.....Debbie provided all the information needed & more, aided by Pauline who was the link in Ostuni. We had brilliant weather so spent most of our time on the terraces....a sun bed was the only thing lacking!

Ostuni is now one of our favorite cities in Italy
We loved it - the house, the city. The house is exactly as described. Equipped with everything you need. including mats and umbrellas for the beach. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Great restaurants a short walk away. Free parking at the church.
Gary, an expat from Wales, checked us in and was very helpful. Its easy to see why he relocated to Ostuni. This was our 1st time in Puglia, but we're already planning a return. Highly recommend staying here.

Great location in heart of Ostuni
A well appointed and located property. The accommodation can take up to five persons but is better suited to two, as we were.
We were unfortunate with the weather, 12 -19 May and the locals said that it was unseasonably cold and wet. However the Adriatic beaches are only a short drive away.
Free car parking was possible but required some scouting out. In the high season this could be a problem

Beautiful
Ostuni is a very beautiful place, lots of alleyways and historical buildings, we loved exploring. The surrounding area is well worth visiting. Casa Josephina, what a lovely town house, in an ideal position to explore Ostuni. The terraces were wonderful and the view spectacular...we had a thunderstorm and watched the lightening from the terrace, magnificent! Gary and Sonia who met us at the house we’re fabulous and very helpful. Paul and Debbie have a lovely home, well worth a visit.

Lovely little house in a great part of Ostuni
The house is nicely restored and located in a good part of town, near the centre but not right next to the touristed streets up to the cathedral. Near cafes, a park, a bakery and a food co-op; the main street and (in the opposite direction) the old town are each about 10 mins walk. In recent years Ostuni has acquired a major ex-pat community; one can join in or avoid it, as preferred.
In the house, the two roof terraces, kitchen/diner, main room and bedrooms off the the main room were all great for two of us, and would be great for a familly, although the street level room didn't really suit a visiting adult. Fast wifi and washing machine a plus too. The stairs are steep and the shower room pretty small, but that is to be expected in an old house.

This was our second stay at Casa Josephina. It really is a place which makes you want to return. Everything works smoothly at arrival and departure. Comfortable, genuine place with a wonderful view over Ostuni and the sea from the roof terrace. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Puglia/Salento region. Great location in the city centre.

Best place to stay in Ostuni!
We absolutely loved Casa Josefina.
Situated in the old town, so close to all the local shops, bakeries, amenities and park etc.
4 minutes walk to the Centro Storico with all the tourist attractions, restaurants, shops and night life etc.
We visited lots of the wonderful surrounding area, towns and beaches.
The house is very well equipped with everything you need.
Stairs are steep - but that is made perfectly clear in the online info.
Wifi was excellent, which was particularly good for us, as on holiday with teenage daughter!
The terraces are absolutely lovely, the views amazing, we spent lots of time eating, drinking, reading, soaking up the sun, looking at the view, esp late at night.
Pauline was lovely and a great manager.
Really hope to return soon.

Stunning property in a great location
Wonderful house in a great location handy for everything. the pictures don't do it justice it really is a great mix of traditional meets modern. the roof top terrace is superb with great views and tranquility.
barely 10 minutes walk and you can be in the middle of the old town (beautiful) equally the same time (opposite direction) to the middle of the new town. don't just read about it if this is the area you want to go to, this the house to stay in. many places around to visit

Amazing Stay at Casa Josephina
We stayed at Casa Josephina for 2 nights in July, and the only problem was that we wished we could have stayed longer. The property has everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. The house still retains its old world charm with tile floors, chandeliers, and stone ceilings, while having all modern amenities. It is in the perfect location – a 5 minute walk to the main square where you can find all the shops and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the park where you can enjoy the greenery and have a coffee. The house has 2 outdoor terraces which are amazing. We enjoyed our morning coffee and lunch on the lower terrace, while we had a glass of wine on the upper terrace while enjoying the views of the entire town and the sea. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. Our security deposit was promptly refunded. We will definitely be back!

An excellent 18th Century Town House
A large 3 storey town house plus 2 good size roof terraces. 2 shower/toilet facilities, one small shower room but a larger shower in the basement. Kitchen complete with fridge and small freezer compartment, microwave, gas hob, plenty of utensils, large gas bbq, washing machine and hairdryer. A good supply of fresh towels, bedlinen and beach towels. The property was clean, nice decor and well maintained. The stairs are narrow and the steps are deep. When booking Paul & Debbie was excellent with a quick response to our enquiry and with a full in depth information pack on the property, places to eat and visit. This property is excellent if you are looking for a relaxing holiday and wish to explore the wonderful city of Ostuni and the beautiful region of Puglia. We will defiantly be returning. Thank your Paul & Debbie for sharing your delightful apartment.
