Best hotel of the Island. We have tested 3 hotels during 2 weeks, and it was the best! The view of the see is amazing from each room, same from the pool and the restaurant. If you like small hotel: best one! The room are clean with an old fashion bathroom. Each room have a terrace. The 2 pools are excellent after hiking and the spa is really nice. The restaurant is also good, and the service is excellent (and it was not the case in the other hotel) Recommend 100%

Excellent views from the room balcony and restaurant overlooking the pool, the picturesque town and the ocean. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking. Range of offerings on the buffet breakfast was pretty good, just lacking fresh juice. Room and bathroom were decent size. Bed was comfortable. Nice outdoor pool and terrace. (We did not try the indoor pool or spa). The service in the restaurant was excellent. Our experience with the restaurant food was mixed--some good choices, some not as good.

Not a good value in high season. Unfortunately, the room balconies on the first floor are separated only by glass panels so there is no privacy from balconies of the other rooms. (Not very peaceful when the family with small child was enjoying their balcony next door.) I suggest adding solid walls between the balconies, as is done between room balconies on the ground floor. Very few restaurant options in this town.

This property is at a higher elevation & has beautiful views from both the pool area and the rooms with balconies facing the village (Vila do Nordeste) and the Atlantic ocean. During our stay the hotel was quiet, clean, served excellent dinner choices and a great breakfast buffet. The staff was very professional and friendly.

There were no hand towels in the common bathrooms. The hotel garden could be quite beautiful if it was better landscaped. The garden area has a lot of potential to enhance this property

Beautiful views - lovely restaurant with an exceptional lunch time deal - great facilities - friendly service - just the perfect place to stay.

The area around.

The Hotel absolutely got to ages. Furnitures are old and damaged all ober the accomodation. The staff sometimes seemed like they don't know how to operate. For example they set the table for dinner every day during breakfast time. On the one hand very annoying, on the other hand breakfast ingredients were empty all the time. No fresh juice. Just (cold) instant coffee. Very disappointing. Dinner was expensive but ok - except the vegetary chickpea burger, which came out loveless without any sauce, salad or so. Just the pattys and some dry rice. Spa was very poor, every hinge was rusty, smell was musty. We had to turn on Sauna on ourselves, it didn't get hot within one hour. When we left, we saw a pest repellent doing his Job in the lobby. In total, it was the most expensive and most disappointing accomodation on the island so far. Not worth the Money, not worth 4 stars.

Beautiful view, wonderful amenities (we enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna), and gorgeous apartment too.

Service for food at the bar/restaurant was sometimes a little slow but nothing too bad!

It is a perfect place! All stuff was extremely nice and polite! Thank you all for your work! Wonderful rooms with amazing view! Good breakfast and lovely Spa. Definitely the best place where we stayed in San Miguel island!

- far from Ponta Delgada, so this hotel only available if you rent a car - spa is very small, the hotel needs to limit visitors by advance booking. otherwise you feel not so comfortable when a lot of guests in one small pool or sauna

Hotel is really nice, clean and has great sauna, turkish bath and indoor and outdoor pool. Staff is extremly nice. The only thing is it is really on the end of an island so you should really need a car for going around. Breakfast is tasty and big.

Quality of food that is offered at dinner is a little low comparing to the price.

There were some internet issues initially but the staff was so communicative! I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! I was craving pineapples and the staff helped me locate shops where I might purchase some. I could not find any and the staff gifted me some free of charge from their kitchen! It was a lovely touch.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not as bad as other places I stayed on the island!

I loved the staff, they were wonderful, best I’ve seen.

Clean rooms and with all needed facilities. Friendly staff. Very tasty breakfast and dinner. Spa was so relaxing at the end of a hiking day. The room faces the ocean - perfect for viewings the sunrise.
