Spacious, quiet room. Big bathroom. Comfy bed. We stayed 4 days and breakfast was very good and slightly different each day. We had rice and curry first night and decided to have it every night as it was absolutely delicious. Location is excellent for Lion Rock, literally a 10 minute walk. Great place, I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Wi-fi was a bit shaky. They issue small plastic water bottles each day to everyone. To be more environmentally efficient a water bottle filling station could easily be set up.

Very nice place to stay. Natural and calm environment with free WiFi :) Superb hospitality and very delicious foods. Don't missed Rice and curry in Green hut restaurant. Highly recommended hotel in Sigiriya.

I totally recommend Green Hut. The hosts are wonderful. Right from the start of my booking, their communication was fantastic. They arranged a taxi from the airport, as they have their own airport pick up. I felt totally reassured that the driver would be there to pick me up before I left the UK. And indeed, the driver was there to meet me at the airport and he drove me very safely to Green Hut, where I was warmly welcomed with a lovely drink. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Great double bed, mosquito net and good AC as well as a balcony. The breakfast was wonderful-fresh homegrown fruit, toast, coconut roti and at my request hoppers. I also did a cooking class and learnt how to make dhal, pumpkin curry, potatoes and green beans because the lady owner is a very talented cook. This was a real pleasure especially because the produce is grown in their very own garden. The hosts were so accommodating and welcoming. They are just a lovely family. I only wish that I had been able to stay longer. It is right by Lions rock and is a great place to rest, relax and enjoy. Don't hesitate to book it! You will supporting a lovely local family and you will be very well looked after from start to finish.

If you are reading this, stop what you are doing, and book the place :) Probably our best stay in sri lanka so far (going on 4 weeks) Super friendly staff, awesome animal life right at the balcony, super delicious food (breakfast included was superb) We had dinner there 4 nights in a row, and it was the first time I was full from only one meal here. Walking distance to both lion Rock and pidurangala rock :) Thank you so much for a great stay :)

Wifi dont reach rooms, but fast and good connection in the main house where there plenty of space to hangout

The guest house was amazing. We were welcomed by the family who owned the property, and they looked after us the whole time. Delicious breakfast and dinner, and they helped us get tuk tuks and drivers when we needed. A really wonderful room with a balcony and beautiful view. Very clean and no bugs inside the room. I highly reccomend this place, and we will definitely be back soon!!

Everything was fantastic.

the location is amazing. we could see Sigiriya rock from their terrace. beds had beautiful mosquito nets. washrooms are clean. it has a very good balcony to sit and view beautiful garden. breakfast was very tasty and lot of variety. staff is very polite and friendly. room size is big.

Friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful location near nature. Wonderful view from the rooftop. Easy to visit the Sigiriya rock. A Buddhist temple next door. Serves great food too.
