The owners seemed like very nice people. The apartment was very clean, and was quite spacious. Check in and check out was fairly straightforward.

Unfortunately we had a few issues during our stay. The apartment was not quite as described, and lacked an oven, most kitchen equipment and a coffee machine which was all advertised on the site. There are a few apartments, but only one listing, so reviews could be for any of them. Be aware that you're not booking directly with the owners, it's through a management company. There was confusion when there were problems, between who to contact - booking.com, the owners, or the management company. This isn't evident when you reserve. My partner and I booked a long stay for almost three weeks. When we found there was no oven or kitchen essentials we asked to leave and rebook elsewhere due to the misdescription, as it was over Christmas. The owners, who seemed like nice people, got us a counter-top oven and some basic equipment. The management company, however, said that what I was saying was 'not true', and I was just a 'tourist' who can't have a refund for 'not liking' a place. Booking.com called me & told me to write this in a review. Eventually, when it was obvious no refund was forthcoming (despite booking.com asking them to), we completed the stay. The apartment still lacked many things, so we 'made do' (as other people have described), by boiling water in pans, using mugs as wine glasses, drying dishes with a bathroom towel as there is no teatowel, and on and on like that. The beds were so uncomfortable we had to go out and buy new pillows - previous reviewers have complained about this since 2018 but it obviously hasn't been rectified. The area the apartments are in is not great. It's in a small town where many buildings have been demolished. There is noise, loud music, dogs barking, yelling, etc. During our 2nd week there was violence outside the apartment, with a woman trying to attack a man with a baseball bat, and a street brawl.

Everything was very clean. Newly renovated apartments and the comfort of first class furniture. I missed nothing and the attention of the owners was spectacular since my arrival.

I would have liked to enjoy more of the island. 'Vecindario' is like the middle point and is close to everything. The next time you come will not be for work reasons, I hope
