Super surprised with the rooms and setup on offer, well and truly exceeded expectations. Hosts very friendly and generous with a full basic fridge supply, proper milk bread etc and a welcome tasting port waiting for you. Books and DVD,s, plus we had a pool table, did not even turn the TV on. I wish it was a non work trip and not just one night. Never had the chance to enjoy everything on offer, such as spa etc. It's on our radar for a holiday next time.

No negatives at all. It's a renovated old quarry building converted to a b&b with several units, and is setup very well.

Absolutely loved it, it was cute and cozy! Excellent condition, very comfortable and clean! Felt very private as well, loved the breakfast supplies we were given and the staff were so welcoming and nice! It was all round a lovely experience we will definitely be back! :)

Beautiful studio with amazing breakfast provisions

Lovely historic building being an old foundry. Room was fantastic, very rustic, comfortable chairs and plenty of supplies for breakfast, tea and coffee. If you needed more, you just had to ask, A nice stroll down to the main street with lots of pubs and restaurants for dinner options. Happy to stay there again.

The bed and pillow was uncomfortable, but that could have been just us. Everything else was perfect !

Clean & deceptively modern. Appearance of the building from the street did not indicate the modernness of the facilities. Very considerate hosts with generous provision of consumables provided.

Not major, but found water on floor outside of the shower recess after each time shower was used.

We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

The only thing is that the pictures on the website don't do justice to the beauty of this place. The place itself was ten times more beautiful than the photos.

We loved that there was a private pool table just for the 4 of us and played quite a lot on our one night stay.

Location was terrific. The owner /manager was very helpful & polite. Very rustic decor. Great for a 2 night stay.

The lounge suite was very uncomfortable, & very difficult to get in & out of, so we couldn't use it. The bed was uncomfortable. 2 nights was enough. Plus you couldn't get around the bed. Mats on the floor became a bit of a trip hazard.

The breakfast was great, plenty of choices. plenty of things to do there, books, games, dvd's etc. Walking distance to shopping centre very comfortable
