Location was good, but on this tiny island it would have to be! Room was clean.

Forgot to ask for a ground floor room. Staff member watched me struggle up the stairs, 5 minutes after we reached the room she knocked on the door and, we thought, offered us a room on the ground floor, We gratefully accepted, collected our bags and followed her downstairs, where she promptly disappeared, leaving us waiting for over 30 mins. before we tried the phone number we had - a different woman who spoke no English and knew nothing about what was happening. We returned to the upstairs room as no one was around. The room was clean, but far below just basic. No towel rail or even toilet roll holder in bathroom, no bedside light (pitch black or 200 watts!), no anything beyond a bed and a hard chair. Went out to find something to eat and drink, only to discover every single cafe and restaurant on the island closes at 6 out of season - we were there mid April. There was a single bar, run from someone's front room, who made us a piece of tomatoes on toast. We sat outside, freezing, the other customers shivering there were also hungry guests from our guesthouse. Surely the information that you cannot eat after 6 pm should be made known! Next morning no hot water in flat. Husband went down to now open cafe and was told there was a switch for hot water by the shower. Full search of room, no switch. Gave up and went down with no shower or even a wash. The woman went back up with hubby to prove there was a switch - there wasn't. She then ran the water for a little over 5 minutes (hubby timed it) and some warm water eventually came through. A simple note saying "run the tap for 5 minutes for water" would have helped, as would staff who knew what they were talking about. The "breakfast", after the lack of a meal the previous evening, was taken at the downstairs cafe, with the grand choice of a piece of toast with tomato or jam or a cold, shop bought croissant - that's it!

comfy bed, clean, modern room. nice shower. very nice people.

lack of hooks or towel rack in the bathroom tiny packages of body wash and no hand soap a few extra bed pillows would have been nice

Where it was situated. And you could purchase food as it had a restaurant. The staff were very pleasant & helpful.
