We greatly enjoyed our 14 night stay. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and made available a wide variety of useful information about the neighbourhood and Lyon. The accommodation was very clean and well-equipped. It looked out into a beautiful garden that was a special pleasure to see every day. The neighbourhood featured wonderful outdoor markets as well as all of the necessary stores and boulangerie. Nearby trams and metros provided easy access to central Lyon in 15-20 minutes. This was a very convenient, quiet and pleasant place to stay, made even more enjoyable by our gracious and friendly hosts. They even assisted us when we experienced an unexpected issue with our car. We can recommend it highly without hesitation.

Le studio est vraiment très beau et fonctionnel. Il est bien placé et aux alentours se trouve pleins de petits commerces et pas mal de moyens de transports. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et très chaleureux. Ce séjour était vraiment une bonne expérience.

Probablement une des locations les plus agréable que j'ai eu sur Lyon. Studio très propre et fonctionnel. Le meilleur lit sur lequel j'ai dormi depuis des mois. Des hôtes charmants.

A great find. We were made really welcome by our hosts. The flat was so quiet and peaceful. Transport links excellent so no problem with getting in and out of town. Lovely garden to sit in and Willie even organised great weather.

Thank you Willi for providing us with a clean, quiet space to relax after our sightseeing. Access to public transport and the supermarket were easy. We loved Lyon and should have stayed longer. We found Lyon to be very interesting and hope to return one day to complete our exploring.

Sehr ruhige Lage, mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kommt man schnell ins Zentrum. Vermieter sind sehr unkompliziert und sehr nett. Es fehlt an nichts.

Location très agréable entourée d'un jardin fleuri et d'un petit coin pour détente à l'ombre d'un superbe tilleul. Propriétaires très discret et disponibles et agréables. Documentation à l'intérieur et DVD pour visiter la région. Studio bien conçu et bien équipé. A refaire et surtout à conseiller. Merci à willi et son épouse.

Beau studio très bien entretenu avec tout le nécessaire pour passer de belles vacances. Quartier très calme, il est très agréable de se faire réveiller par le chant des oiseaux, le jardin n'est pas très grand mais magnifique et entretenu à merveille. Les propriétaires sont avenants tout en étant très discrets. Les transports en communs (tout proche) permettent de se déplacer vers le centre de Lyon rapidement ce qui est un véritable atout . Merci pour ce beau séjour, nous ne manquerons pas de transmettre l'adresse et de revenir 😊.

Une appartement centrale, très complet et des proprietaires gentils. Jardin tres vert et un bon lit. L’agitation de la ville belle tombe loin de vous!

Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et d'excellent conseil pour les visites à faire à Lyon. Le studio est clair, propre, aménagé avec goût et très pratique. Plein de livres et vidéos pour découvrir Lyon. La vue sur le jardin est un délice. Quant au quartier, il est calme et très bien desservi en transports publics. Un grand merci !

Wilhelm is a great bloke and could not do anymore for you but we had 2 dogs with us and we felt like they were always in the way and we couldn’t settle.

Belle propriété avec un beau jardin. Studio indépendant et bien agencé. A recommander.

Beau studio, propre et confortable, charmant jardin. Voiture à l'abri. Proprio très sympa, bonnes explications , ... . Centre ville et points d'intérêt facilement accessible par transports en commun.

Nous avons été accueillis par nos hôtes très agréablement dans un petit coin de paradis tres reposant en rez de jardin. Bien que située en centre de ville, la demeure se trouve dans un quartier très calme... avec un stationnnement aisé ; les magasins et commerces sont à quelques pas. Nous conseillons vivement cet havre de paix pour tous les couples en quête de tranquillité au coeur de Lyon. De plus, s'il manquait quoique ce soit, Willi était toujours disponible ! Informations diverses, avis et conseils étaient au rendez-vous ! Merci encore pour cette première découverte de Lyon dans de telles circonstances. C'est donc les yeux fermés que nous recommandons cette adresse mais nous vous conseillons de les garder bien ouverts afin d'en profiter ! Le séjour s'est déroulé dans un studio suffisant, très propre et bien équipé. Caché dans un jardinet aux senteurs variées, à l'ombre d'un magnifique tilleul, ce studio intimiste nous a plongés dans un cadre verdoyant très bien entretenu. This was the second time I stayed with Willi in the Studio in Lyon and it was just as good as the first time. His place is close to the Tram (T4 and T2) and is super easy to arrive from the Train Station (even for an American like myself). The garden is perfect place to sip Champagne from a long day of sightseeing. It is walking distance to several grocery stores and restaurants, and the American coffeemaker hits the spot. I highly recommend!

Moi et ma femme sommes restés 30 jours dans ce super studio pendant notre leçons de français à Lyon. Le studio est équipé avec tous nos besoins, compris un jardin très agréable. Les propriétaires sont formidables et très sympa, et ils etáient toujours là pour nous aider avec des conseils sur Lyon ou même sur notre faible français. :) Now switching back to english, we had really enjoyed our stay in Lyon. The studio had everything we needed, even a detailed guide on the city activities, transportation, etc. The garden was very nice, even if we could not really enjoy it, as Lyon was really hot last July. Even if we were not downtown, we had public transport connections to the whole city, and several services nearby (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, etc). About the studio owners, I have no words to say how wonderful they were. Always available and helpful with whatever we needed. Thank you Willi and Elisa!

"The Studio is very comfortable. It is well situated with buses and trams at both sides of the Rue Laurent Carle. The studio is spacious and well equipped. There is a nice kitchen with everything that one needs for making a breakfast and lunch, and even a modest dinner (but who would want to cook their own dinner in Lyon?). The studio was clean and it has a nice view on the garden. Our visit was late October with cold weather, but I imagine that the access to the garden will be very pleasant in spring and summer. Importantly, the Rue Laurent Carle is very quiet, and one of the advantages of this studio is that it is so quiet. The descriptions in the annonce are completely correct. The photos give a good impression of the studio. The studio has its own access via the garden. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. We can recommend this studio to everyone who wants to spend some time in Lyon and is looking for a quiet and comfortable holiday address."

"The owner & his family were wonderful, we were greeted and invited in for coffee. The owner gave us all the information we required on travelling into Lyon. The apartment was perfect for a couple. Transport to Lyon was a 3 minute walk from the apartment. As we were travelling by car, parking was not problem. It was spotlessly clean, quiet and peaceful with a lovely outlook over the garden. I would certainly recommend this apartment."
