Fantastic lodge! Facilities are great and the views are gorgeous. Jorge and Eduardo are great hosts and prepare delicious meals. A youngster ski team was staying at the lodge at the same time, which was not a problem for us, but it might be for some people who would prefer a quieter place. Later we learned that ski teams usually stay there from August 10th to the 31st. Wi-fi was not always available and it was somewhat slow, so plan accordingly if you need Internet access.

Staff was amazing and super friendly! They spoke great english and spanish! Food was great too! And you are within walking distance to skiing!! This place is awesome!!

They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door!

Better heat in the rooms.

All that we were looking for in some relaxing days, was satisfied here. Confortable rooms, good food and an excellent staff that (Eduardo and Jorge) who make feel us happier. PD: coffee in the morning also did a different. It’s not instant coffee. Thanks!!!

Have to leave it

Rustic accommodations in the Andes east of Santiago. Good food. Simple hotel. Jorge the manager was very nice and helpful. The food was included and the dinners were very tasty. Nice fire every evening.

We could have used more snow but I can't blame the hotel!

We booked a room at this lovely little lodge for one night at the end of our South American trip. We had few days free in Santiago and decided to spend a couple of days snowboarding in El Colorado. We chose to stay in Farellones as it was a lot cheaper than any accommodation we could find in El Colorado. The lodge was very charming and we were really happy with our accommodation choice. Loved that both dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate. The food was really good and the chef even prepared a gluten free meal for me at short notice. Although our Spanish was very limited we managed to communicate well with the use Google Translator. The staff were very welcoming and lovely - it felt like we were staying with relatives as it had such a relaxing and homely feel. Highly recommended :)
