We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. There are a lot of steps so you have to be fairly fit. The property was beautiful and clean, the rooms spacious, and the view and porch were incredible. It is a short walk to the Pile Gate and a great location to explore Dubrovnik.

This lovely property is very conveniently located to old town and all the sites. Although there are steps, which afforded us such an amazing view from our private veranda, the property was actually quite close to the upper road and lower exit to Old Town. The owners live on property and you could definitely see all the love and care they had for this property. They also were great communicators and helped arrange transfer to the airport. Would love to come again!

This property was amazing. Two bedroom, two bathroom, private terrace with spectacular views of oldtown Dubrovnik and air conditioned. The property was located less than 5 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores and the old town. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future

Amazing Dubrovnik Apartment
The location was great, near Pile Gate and steps from the Old Town! We loved the patio area which was our go to afternoon place to relax with a glass of wine after sightseeing! The washing machine was an added bonus! Our hosts were very responsive to any requests and highly recommend:) Debbie, Bruce, Sandi and Bob

Can't imagine a more perfect accommodation in Dubrovnik!
We wish we could give this more than 5 stars! I stayed in the Solei apartment with my parents (75 years old) and two children (9 and 11) during a visit to Dubrovnik in mid-April and found it to be the perfect place from which to explore the old city. The hosts were lovely, the accommodation beautiful, quiet and spotless. As others have noted, the large balcony/patio gives you one of the best views you will find in the entire city! It's just outside the city walls, so you can escape from the masses of tourists to the serenity of the house & its beautiful gardens.

Excellent stay
Our experience was extraordinary. My daughter became Ill with food poisoning and our hosts helped in every way imaginable. Fortunately, she recovered quickly. The location quite near the walled city is optimal.

Best sunset view!
Everything about the property was great, but the terrace stole the show. It was our favorite place to be in all of Dubrovnik. We started every morning there and loved every sunset there. Would stay here again for sure.

Clean, close to city gate, great view.
The property is an easy five minute walk from imperial Hilton and only a few minutes away from the city gates / wall. Greatly enjoyed sitting on the deck at the end of the day with a local glass of wine.

Perfect location, beautiful views
Lidia’s property was the perfect spot for our stay in Dubrovnik! Short walking distance to the old city, beautiful view from the terrace when you return from a day out. The property was very clean and contained everything we needed. They were even kind enough to allow us to stay a little bit longer before checking out as one of our family members woke up not feeling too well. Would definitely return, thank you again!

Beautiful terrace and great location
Loved this apartment! Loads of space. Great location. Very clean. simply furnished but all the essentials were there. Super thankful for the AC on very hot august days. It felt very private in such a central location. Our favorite part was the terrace. Such amazing views of the city. Really appreciated the washing machine as well.

Spectacular apartment conveniently just outside the Pile Gate.
Our stay in Dubrovnik exceeded our expectations. Niksa's apartment was spectacular, especially the private terrace overlooking the Old City and the Adriatic Sea. The apartment was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. Access to the waterfront and Old City was no problem. Check in was equally easy. We had arranged airport pick up through the property manager. As cars are not allowed right in front of the apartment, Niksa met us and guided us to his house and our apartment. Niksa also arranged a site-seeing tour and dinner at a traditional Croatian restaurant. All this really made our visit memorable and one we would like to repeat in the future.

Outstanding unit and location
Everything about our experience at this apartment was outstanding, right down to the grappa. Nick greeted us at the apartment and give us an explanation of everything we needed to know. The apartment is well appointed, spacious with our daily amenities you would need such as shampoo, dishwasher soap, etc. The views from the terrace are amazing with plenty of seating. The walk from the apartment down to the city involves quite a few steps, so be aware. This apartment was the highlight of our trip and we would recommend it to anybody.

Great spot. Just outside walls. Steps not a problem. Clean. Transfers good to airport. There are 2 bedrooms,the main also is the common area which might be an issue but deck is really the common area. Was a little cold when we were there and was just us two. Great for a family of 4. Clean , well stocked. Great to miss the crowds in evening or morning.

This apartment was wonderful, exceeded all expectations!!
The extra large windows in the big bedroom overlooking the sea and the old town were wonderful , then the icing on the cake was the beautiful seating area outside, it couldn’t have been better, a few steps down the cobbled paths and your in the old city. This property was an amazing find and much appreciated, we would definitely like to come back again and I would recommend it to anyone!! Thank you.

Sometimes the pictures are deceiving, but not at this location. Closer than expected to old town and the apartment was very clean. The grapa was an unexpected surprise. We hope to stay here again

It's all about the terrace
This is a lovely modern apartment in a beautiful old villa in a perfect location not far outside the city wall. The entry hall to the villa retains it's historic character and is a step back in time every time you pass through. The apartment itself has high ceilings, a spacious central hall and large bedrooms that have been thoughtfully updated. The kitchen, while small, has everything you could need while on vacation. The owners have have provided laundry supplies, toiletries, hair dryers, extra linens, etc., etc. What makes this apartment so fantastic, however, is the terrace. It's view of the wall and the sea and the city roofs is absolutely unbeatable. Despite being quite close to the main street outside Pile Gate, it is very quiet; especially in the late afternoon and early evening when you will definitely want to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun turn the city walls and the fort golden. I can't imagine that there is a better vacation apartment in all of Dubrovnik. Go there!

Spacious Apartment with Beautiful view
The place is gorgeous and the view is unforgettable. One disclaimer though -regarding the stairs required to get to the front door and then the steps to the actual apartment. They would be an inconvenience for anyone but as 3 60 year old women, it was extremely difficult to drag the suitcases through the streets of Dubrovnik and then up a couple more flights of stairs. The taxi driver arranged by the host should have dropped us at the Hilton, which was fairly close. A pair of Finnish girls took mercy on us and took the 2 heaviest suitcases down the many stairs. Once inside, the place was spotless and comfortable.

Photos do not justify. The balcony is lovely with a perfect view of the Old town.
Enjoyed our 5 night stay. What a delight to come home after a busy day to enjoy the views of the old town from the balcony. The two bedrooms were very large and had lovely windows. The kitchen was well stocked and great for preparing meals. You need to consider that there are about 130 steps to the property so pack lightly. Also be sure to get the physical address well in advance and let the owner know when you will arrive.

fantastic apartment in great location
We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who kindly let us leave our luggage hours before check-in time, and was very friendly and helpful showing us round. The villa is a very impressive building and only 5-10 minutes uphill from the Pile Gate of the Old Town. The apartment itself is very clean, comfortable and attractively furnished, with plenty of towels, hot water and air-conditioning. The cooking facilities are a little bit limited (two electric hobs and a microwave) and we couldn't find a dishwasher, despite it being on the list of amenities; but we managed to self-cater no problem. A grumpy couple in the apartment downstairs complained about noise from our footsteps, even though we are a quiet family, so I suppose the age of the building means the sound travels a bit more. However, far and away the best thing about this apartment is the outdoor terrace with its amazing views over the sea, the Old Town and the Fort: simply spectacular, and we spent many hours enjoying sitting there. We would certainly be keen to go back and stay here again.

Beautiful view from a lovely apartment
We were met and welcomed by the owner and were able to check into the property before the usual check in time which was much appreciated. The apartment is well maintained, very comfortable and well equipped. The terrace is a bonus and the photo on the website does not do the amazing view justice. It is a 10 minute walk to the city walls but the situation of the apartment feels far enough out of the city for relaxation. We had a wonderful stay in Dubrovnik and would return here again without hesitation.

Great location with superb view - comfortable apartment for 4
Very nice owner who was very helpful and kind. Well equipped apartment with beautiful terrace. Be aware there is not a separate living room to speak of but one of the bedrooms is very large with lounge furniture or the kitchen too is large but for sitting best of all is the terrace the terrace with lovely views over the old city. As with most streets in old Dubrovnik it is only pedestrian access so be prepared to manhandle your suitcases!! Highly recommended.
