I like the place but it depends what u expect. You can discuss the decoration but it is very clean and comfortable. Beds are very comfy and water pressure and size of the bathroom good. TV with complementary NETFLIX, DISNEY etcetera. In the hotel it smells extremely nice!

Wi-Fi was/is very weak and a small bottle of water on the room would have been appreciated. Parking is on the streets in the neighborhood.

Beautiful, well appointed house, spotlessly clean with a wonderful roof terrace with plenty of seating for alfresco dining or relaxing with a nice view of the castle. The first floor kitchen is extremely well appointed (a few dislikes, see below). We had the room with a private external bathroom, this caused us no problems whatsoever and our bathroom was spotlessly clean and locked.

Each of the first floor rooms have a fridge allocated to them in the kitchen but unfortunately you cannot access your fridge between 21.00 and 8.00 as the kitchen is locked. Also, guests are not allowed to use the oven or hob. There is a less well appointed kitchen on the top floor which is not locked. The hostess/housekeeper (who spoke very little English) kept the whole place pristine, however, she was unwelcoming and unsmiling causing a feeling of tension. Our only other contact was to the host via WhatsApp.

There is a faded grandeur about Casa Beny, which although spotless, has clearly seen better days. The location is good and there is a kitchen where each room has its own fridge. Unfortunately this is locked at 9pm so the water kindly provided was inaccessible leading to a late night panic about whether to drink the tap water or run round town finding a bottle. We did the latter.

There are quite a few instructions not to do things, which is a bit off putting, plus the bottles of water need to be left in the bedroom, not the fridge.

Great location in the center by the castle and mercado. Lovely upper terrace.

Bed turned out to be too small. We will know better next time. Stairs, beware.

Incredible room in a great location. The nicest staff.

* Location - great indeed (admittedly Loule is a small town but still the location was great) * Terrace - I did not use it but it is lovely to have the opportunity to stay outside * The owner (or person who attended us) - she is a very kind and friendly person, she takes care of her guests (she fluently spoke to us in Spanish and French which was great, even if we could not communicate in English) * Room - it is admittedly small but quite functional

* Bathroom air circulation - there is not extractor fan and the only small opening / window is too high so not easy to climb and open it. As a consequence the air cannot circulate outside, which is not the best having the small bedroom just next to it * I happened to find hair both in the room as well as in the shower, a pity indeed! * The virtual assistance was not efficient at all (twice I received a reply after 20 minutes!) - it defeats the point of a virtual / whatsapp support * Not sure what the root-cause was, but using the air con system released an intense smell of mold which stayed with us the whole night. I think some preventive maintenance could help there.

The location was perfect for the main centre of town. However there is no parking at the hotel and as i travelled for carnival day it took me over an hour to find parking as the town was blocked off for the carnival. If you go to the carnival days then i suggest you either go a day early to secure parking near hotel or get there very early in the morning i.e. by 9.30 a.m. It's complicated as the centre roads get cordoned off so you need to be aware of this too. The lady at the hotel speaks French and Spanish so brush up on these languages however she was extremely helpful. There is no lift at the hotel so be aware of this too if you have difficulties with stairs. All in all a beautiful guest house.

Parking. No lift. But to be honest the hotel is very old and beautiful and couldn't accommodate these anyway.

prime position in old town, stored my luggage for me as I arrived early morning,communal kitchen was spotless and well equipped.

it was a little chilly in the evenings as it was 1 feb couldn’t quite manage to put the heat on on AC but that could have been operator error . Didn’t provide breakfast but you could get your own supplies and keep in designated fridge in communal kitchen
